本発明は、寒冷地の農家の人々の冬越し野菜等の保湿材として長く使用されていた籾殻に着目し、籾殻の断熱性を高めて無公害な自然にやさしい籾殻無公害断熱材を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するため本発明の籾殻無公害断熱材は、籾殻をノンホルマリン接着材で固めた断熱材において、
自然乾燥状態の上記断熱材をノンホルマリン接着材により古紙(新聞紙等)で包蔵し、さらに、乾燥状態で防湿紙にて被覆保護して目的を達成する。

【発明の効果】
本発明は、ノンホルマリン接着材で固められた籾殻の断熱材を直接防湿紙で包むのではなく、該断熱材にノンホルマリン接着材を塗布し古紙(新聞紙等)で包蔵し、その外層を防湿紙で包むので防水性がある。

【実施例1】
本発明の実施例を説明すると、7リットルの籾殻に500ccのノンホルマリン接着材を混ぜ合わせ、図外の30cm×30cm×5cmの木枠で形成したノンホルマリン接着材で固めた籾殻1(以下、断熱材1とする。)を脱型して自然乾燥させる。自然乾燥後、断熱材1にノンホルマリン接着材を塗布し、図1に示すように、この状態の断熱材1を古紙(新聞紙)2で包蔵して乾燥させる。その状態でさらに、防湿紙3を被覆するものである。
上記構成の籾殻無公害断熱材で作られた図外の蓋付き箱と、従来の断熱材による蓋付き箱を用意し、両者の箱に温度計を入れ、マイナス18度Cの冷凍庫内に24時間放置する。
24時間後、従来の断熱材による箱に入れられた温度計はマイナス18度Cを示し、本発明の籾殻無公害断熱材で作られた箱内の温度計は、マイナス16度Cであった。
