Description
Claims (2)
- 符号化対象画像に対する動き補償予測のための基準画像を2以上記憶する記憶手段と、
動ベクトルに従って前記基準画像から基準ブロックを得る動き補償予測手段と、
前記基準ブロックと入力画像の差分を符号化する符号化手段と、
前記基準画像内のブロックが有する複数の境界にデブロックフィルタリングを行なうフィルタ手段と、
前記デブロックフィルタリングを行なうか否かを境界毎に判定する判定手段とを備え、
前記判定手段は、前記境界に隣接する第1のブロックと第2のブロックの符号化に際してそれぞれ用いられる第1の動ベクトルと第2の動ベクトルが互いに類似するか否かを評価するとともに、前記第1のブロックと前記第2のブロックの符号化に際してそれぞれ用いられる第1の基準画像の番号と第2の基準画像の番号が互いに等しいか否かを評価し、
前記動ベクトルが互いに類似しない場合または前記基準画像の番号が互いに異なる場合は前記境界にデブロックフィルタリングを行い、
前記動ベクトルが互いに類似し、前記基準画像の番号が互いに等しい場合は前記境界にデブロックフィルタリングを行なわないことを特徴とする画像符号化装置。 - 復号対象画像に対する動き補償予測のための基準画像を2以上記憶する記憶手段と、
動ベクトルに従って前記基準画像から基準ブロックを得る動き補償予測手段と、
前記基準ブロックと復号された差分ブロックから画像を復号する復号手段と、
前記基準画像内のブロックが有する複数の境界にデブロックフィルタリングを行なうフィルタ手段と、
前記デブロックフィルタリングを行なうか否かを境界毎に判定する判定手段とを備え、
前記判定手段は、前記境界に隣接する第1のブロックと第2のブロックの復号に際してそれぞれ用いられる第1の動ベクトルと第2の動ベクトルが互いに類似するか否かを評価するとともに、前記第1のブロックと前記第2のブロックの復号に際してそれぞれ用いられる第1の基準画像の番号と第2の基準画像の番号が互いに等しいか否かを評価し、
前記動ベクトルが互いに類似しない場合または前記基準画像の番号が互いに異なる場合は前記境界にデブロックフィルタリングを行い、
前記動ベクトルが互いに類似し、前記基準画像の番号が互いに等しい場合は前記境界にデブロックフィルタリングを行なわないことを特徴とする画像復号装置。
