本発明は、CD―Rプレーヤー等に組み込まれる光ピックアップ装置で、レーザービームの一部を受光し、レーザー出力を調整する為のフロントモニター支持方法に係る光ピックアップ装置に関するものである。

CD−Rに使用される光ピックアップに設けられるフロントモニターの取付の一例として、フロントモニターをハウジングに押圧し、ハウジングに固定する板ばね付のL型フックの取付け金具によりフロントモニターの両端部をネジ止めにより支持し、ネジロックにより固定するように構成されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
フロントモニターを指定場所に取付ける場合、フロントモニターは小さな部品であり、該フロントモニターにはフレキシブル基板が接続され、フレキシブル基板の付勢力によりハウジング内の狭い場所への配置が困難であった。また、指定場所に押圧したとしても固定金具をネジにて固定する方式では更に細かい作業を強いられるという問題があった。
