Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The suture needle used by the doctor during the surgical operation is returned to the nurse with the tip of a needle holder for grasping the needle. The present invention relates to an improvement of a needle counter for accurately counting the number of used suture needles so that they are not left in a patient when the used suture needles are discarded, and further appropriately disposing them as medical waste.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In the case of a suction type, a conventional needle counter for counting used needles has a flat surface of a sheet or a plate, and the needle is sucked and fixed by using a material such as a magnet and a seal. The surface of the sheet or plate is delimited by lines or dents, and a count number is written in each frame. Count the number of used needles by putting them in order of young number.
[0003]
In the case of a type that stabs and counts on a sponge or the like, a count number is printed on the upper surface of the sponge plate, so that it is stabbed from above.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
If the surface of the sheet or plate on which the surgical suture needle is placed is flat, when the needle is placed, the needle is likely to move and erroneously count.
[0005]
Usually, when a nurse receives a used needle from a doctor, he / she receives the needle with the needle attached to the tip of the needle holder. It must be inserted at an unreasonable angle from above. In addition, the rear end of the needle faces upward, and subsequent disposal is difficult. Today's nosocomial infections are most commonly caused by needlestick accidents, and high safety measures are required.
[0006]
While there is a situation where it is difficult to throw away the expenses when the medical expenses are restrained, discarding the entire container is wasteful and expensive, and the amount of medical waste increases.
[0007]
There are various surgical operations such as ophthalmology, brain surgery, digestive surgery, cardiovascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, respiratory surgery, etc., and the size and number of suture needles used are diverse. There are no merits for both hospitals and manufacturers to prepare various types of needle counters for counting used needles according to the operation. In addition, we want to keep as much space as possible for nurses in clean areas, so we want to keep the device volume as compact as possible.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above-mentioned problems, the technical means taken by the present invention is such that the needle stick fixing body is first removed from the base and is disposable. It is possible to dispose of only the needlestick fixing body, which is inexpensive and can contribute to the reduction of medical waste.
[0009]
If the detachable needle stick fixing body is installed obliquely on the base, the needle attached to the tip of the needle holder can be inserted into the needle stick fixing body at a natural angle without difficulty.
[0010]
Further, when the removable needle stick fixing body is a columnar shape or an elliptic cylinder shape, the surface where the needle is inserted draws an arc, so that the nurse can insert the needle stick fixing body at an arbitrary angle.
[0011]
When the removable needle stick fixing body is made of a stretchable material, the entire body becomes thinner when both ends are pulled, and it is easy to attach to and detach from the base that supports the needle stick fixing body. In addition, when the needle is repeatedly expanded and contracted 2 to 3 times after use, the stabbed needle is easily detached and becomes a form suitable for a medical institution in which polymers and metals are separated and discarded.
[0012]
The needle stick fixing body is stored and fixed in a sealable openable / disposable disposal container. The disposal container is placed open on the base, and the needle is inserted into the needle stick fixing body and counted, then removed from the base and sealed and discarded. In the case of a structure that can be used, it is possible to prevent a needlestick infection accident of a used suture needle almost in advance.
[0013]
Considering the cost, it seems that it is better to reuse all medical devices, but if the patient has an infectious disease etc., secondary infection of the health care worker will be a problem, and conversely, the one that has been disposed of as much as possible Is safe. If the foundation that supports the needlestick fixing body is manufactured using the mold molding method using pulp and recycled recycled paper, it can be mass-produced at low cost, and can be incinerated as paper, giving consideration to environmental issues during disposal. It becomes possible.
[0014]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
In FIG. 1, the needle stick fixing body 11c according to claim 1 is removable, and the shape thereof is a rectangular parallelepiped. The needle stick fixing body 11c is installed at an angle with respect to the base 12b that supports the needle stick fixing body so that the needle can be easily inserted. 1 shows a surgical needle counter. The nurse usually receives the used needle held by the tip of the needle holder 15 when the used needle is delivered from the doctor. The quickest way to insert the needle into the counter is to rotate the hand from the upper right to the lower left in accordance with the curvature of the needle. If a rectangular parallelepiped needle stick fixing body is installed obliquely with respect to the base, this quick movement becomes possible.
[0015]
Sponge, cork and the like are used as the needle stick fixing body, but since the three surfaces are supported by the base, a fixing tool such as a rail is not necessary. The top and bottom can be taken in and out, and when 10 counts have been completed, the next needlestick fixing body is set, and the subsequent count is performed.
[0016]
The foundation has concavity and convexity grooves 16a and 16b on the left and right, and a plurality of needle counters according to claim 10 can be connected. The material may be a metal cutting process or a silicon rubber molding process.
[0017]
FIG. 2 illustrates a case where the needle stick fixing body 11d according to claim 2 uses a stretchable material. When attaching and detaching to the base 12c, pulling both ends makes the whole thin and easy to put in and out of the base groove. The cylindrical shape allows the needle to be inserted at any angle from above or from the side.
[0018]
When a stretchable material is used for the needlestick fixing body, the tip of the needle that is stuck is tapered, so when it is stretched 2-3 times, it tries to push out a hard object from the center to the outside. Detachment becomes easy. Polyethylene gel is suitable as a material for the needlestick fixed body because of its excellent elasticity, strength, and radiation resistance (radiation resistance sterilization).
[0019]
In FIG. 3, the needle stick fixing body 11e according to claim 3 is housed and fixed in a sealable openable / disposable disposal container 17, and the disposal container is opened in the base 12d and the needle is inserted into the needle stick fixing body. After counting, the needle counter is structured so that it can be removed from the base, sealed and discarded. Since the entire needlestick fixing body is housed and fixed in a waste container, the material does not necessarily have to be stretchable. A roll of paper or cloth may be used, and a cylindrical cork, polyethylene gel, sponge, or the like is also conceivable. Sponge can be an environmental measure by using natural fiber cellulose.
[0020]
When the container for storing and fixing the needle stick fixing body is made of a polymer material having a slight hardness such as transparent polyethylene or polystyrene, blister vacuum forming can be performed and the cost becomes low. If it is transparent, the needle can be counted and sealed, and then confirmed again from the outside of the container. The waste container can be opened and closed, and set to the base in an open state before use. After the needle is pierced and counted, the lid side is pushed down to the side where the needle stick fixing body is housed and fixed, and the surrounding uneven surface is aligned and sealed. Because of its high sealing performance, blood leakage and infection can be prevented. The base can be reused using materials such as autoclavable metal and silicon rubber. The number for counting is written on the base surface so that it can be seen from above the transparent waste container.
[0021]
FIG. 4 shows a needle stick fixing body manufactured by a mold molding method in which pulp, recycled paper, etc. according to claim 4 are dissolved as raw materials, scooped up by a wire mesh, dried by heating and solidified to form a shape with deep irregularities. The base 12e is illustrated. Since it is a manufacturing method in which the melted raw material is scooped up with a wire mesh, all the vertical lines are designed to narrow toward the top so that it can be easily released from the wire mesh. Since the whole is disposable, it is better to use a cellulose sponge that is compatible with paper as the material for the needle stick fixing body 11f and to adhere it to the base in advance. If you dig into the mold type, the numbers for counting will be floating characters.
[0022]
【The invention's effect】
The surgical needle counter of the present invention is easy to puncture, inexpensive, can be safely disposed of, and can supply products that are environmentally friendly.
