本発明は、サンルーフ装置に関し、特にスライドパネルがチルトダウンして開閉運動を行う際にがたつかないように改良されたインナースライド型サンルーフ装置に関するものである。

車両の固定ルーフに設けられた開口を開閉するスライドパネルを、チルトダウンさせた後に固定ルーフの下方に引き込むように構成されたインナースライド型サンルーフ装置が知られている(特開平2−290717号公報などを参照されたい)。

このようなサンルーフ装置において、固定ルーフの下方に固設されたガイドレールに摺合したスライダを、スライドパネルの下方の左右両側部の前後両端部に連結すると共に、スライドパネルの後端部に横向きのピンを突設し、ガイドレールに形成されたガイド溝にこのピンを係合させることにより、スライドパネルが開閉運動を行う際の上下動を規制するようにした構造が知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかるに、ガイド溝の幅寸法とピンの外径寸法との間には、製造や組み付けの都合上、所定の公差(許容誤差)を設定する必要があるため、従来の構造によると、誤差の累積状況によっては、スライドパネルの開閉運動時にある程度のがたつきが生ずることは不可避的であった。

本発明は、このような従来技術の問題点を解消すべく案出されたものであり、その主な目的は、スライドパネルが開閉運動を行う際のがたつきをより一層低減し得るように改良されたサンルーフ装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
このような目的を果たすために、本発明は、車両の固定ルーフ(1)に設けられた開口(2)を開閉するスライドパネル(3)をチルトダウンさせた後に固定ルーフの下方に引き込むべく、スライドパネルの左右両側部の下方に固設されたパネルステー(6)と、固定ルーフ側に固設されたガイドレール(15)のガイド溝(13)に摺合すると共にパネルステーに連結されたスライド部材(9)と、パネルステーの後端部に突設されてチルトダウン時にガイドに係合するピン(11)とを有するサンルーフ装置において、少なくとも1つのスライド部材とパネルステーのスライド部材に対応する部分との間に、ガイド溝にピンが係合して開閉運動を行う時にパネルステーに押圧力を作用させるための弾発部材(23)を設けると共に、前記ガイドレールにおける前記ガイド溝の始端部に、前記スライドパネルのチルトダウン時に前記ピンを導入する導入溝(16)が形成された弾性材からなる導入部材(15)を設けるものとした。

図1は、本発明が適用されたサンルーフ装置の概要を示す車両の要部斜視図である。車両の固定ルーフ1には、車体幅方向を長辺とする概ね矩形をなす開口2が形成されている。この開口2は、開口2の内周輪郭に対応した形状に形成されたスライドパネル3によって開閉可能にされている。

ガイドレール14に形成された上段ガイド溝13の前後方向の適宜な位置には、図5に併せて示すように、弾性に富む合成樹脂材で形成された導入部材15が取り付けられている。この導入部材15の側面には、上段ガイド溝12と略等しい溝幅の導入溝16が形成されている。この導入溝16は、上方へ開口した始端から垂直方向下向きに僅かに延在した後、緩やかな円弧をもって後方へ延出されてそのまま上段ガイド溝13に連結されている。

このサンルーフ装置は、基本的な動作は公知のものと同様であり、ガイドレール14における外側の下段ガイド溝12の上方に形成された内側が開かれたC字形の断面形状をなすケーブルガイド17内に挿通されたプッシュ/プルケーブル18を後部スライダ9の側面に連結し、プッシュ/プルケーブル18を電動モータ(図示せず)で押し引き駆動することにより、後部スライダ9を前後に移動させ、これによってスライドパネル3を開閉駆動するようになっている。

スライドパネル3の全閉位置(図2に示した状態)から後部スライダ9を後方へ移動させると、後部スライダ9に設けられたカムフォロワ10がパネルステー6に形成されたカム溝8に係合しているので、カム溝8の上下方向成分と前後方向成分とにより、後部スライダ9が後方へ移動するに連れてスライドパネル3は、先ずパネルステー6の前端部の前部スライダ7に対する枢支点を中心としてその後縁を下降させる向きに傾斜する(チルトダウン動作)。

このチルトダウン動作により、パネルステー6の後端に横向きに突設されたピン11は、導入部材15に形成された導入溝16の始端の上向き開口に突入し、かつこの導入溝16をもって上段ガイド溝13へと円滑に案内される(図3参照)。この際、導入部材15が弾性に富む合成樹脂材で形成されているので、打音を発生することなくピン11は導入溝16に衝当し得る。

他方、ガイドレール14の下段ガイド溝12は、断面形状がコ字形をなす一対の溝の開放面を互いに対向させており、これに摺合する後部スライダ9は、左右の下段ガイド溝12に突入する横向き凸部21を備えている。これらの凸部21には、摩擦係数が低く且つ摩耗し難い合成樹脂材で形成されたスライドシュー22が嵌着されている。

後部スライダ9の左右方向中間部におけるカムフォロワ10の直下には、弾性に富むエラストマ材で形成された弾発部材23が取り付けられている。この弾発部材23は、スライドパネル3をチルトダウンした際に、パネルステー6の下面がその上面に当接し、幾分か圧縮変形するようにされている。

【発明の効果】
このように本発明によれば、サンルーフ装置におけるスライドパネルの開閉動作時に、スライダの底部とパネルステーの下面との間にて弾発部材が圧縮変形するようにしたので、ガイド溝の始端部に弾性部材で形成された導入部材が設けられているために導入溝にピンが入り込む際に打音を生じないことと相俟って、スライドパネルのチルトダウン時の打音の発生を抑制し得る。また、弾発部材の上向き反力によってガイドレールの摺動溝の上面にピン圧接されるので、スライドパネルのがたつきをも同時に抑制することができ、しかも、パネルステーに弾発部材による上向きの反力が作用しても導入部材が弾性変形するため、ガイド溝にピンを円滑に案内することができる。
