Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an ink fountain device used for an offset printing press, a letterpress printing machine, and the like, and more particularly to an ink fountain device that can easily remove and clean ink on the inner surface of an ink fountain.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In offset printing machines or letterpress printing machines, the amount of ink supplied in accordance with the pattern must be changed during printing, and the ink supply zone is usually divided into multiple parts in the width direction of the pattern (approximately 30 mm pitch). However, a large amount of ink is supplied to a zone having a large area ratio, and a small amount of ink is supplied to a zone having a small area ratio.
In general, an ink fountain system is used for an inking device in an offset printing press or letterpress printing machine, and adjustment of the amount of ink to be supplied is performed by sliding a large number of ink keys arranged side by side in the width direction, This is done by changing the gap. This method has an advantage that the amount of ink supplied can be accurately controlled.
[0003]
By the way, in the ink device, cleaning is necessary when changing the item (color changing), and naturally the inner surface of the ink fountain is also cleaned. This ink fountain inner surface cleaning is difficult to automate and is usually performed manually by an operator.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, cleaning the inner surface of the ink fountain is a troublesome factor in improving productivity because it is troublesome. In addition, if the cleaning is insufficient, the ink may enter the gap between the keys and dry, which may cause the key to malfunction.
To solve these problems, a method has been proposed in which cleaning is simplified by attaching a film to an ink fountain and a key, and replacing the film at the time of cleaning. There are two methods for pasting a film: one for pasting a cut sheet and the other for pasting a continuous film and winding up a used film. However, in any method, the film is pasted only on the flat bottom surface of the ink fountain, and the inner surface (end surface) of the ink fountain is exposed or the end surface is covered with a small piece having a special shape. .
For this reason, this method requires a cleaning operation of the ink fountain end face or the cover piece, and also requires considerable manual work by the operator.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems. In a printing machine such as an offset printing machine or a letterpress printing machine, the residual ink on the inner surface of the ink fountain can be easily removed and cleaned easily when changing items. It is an object of the present invention to provide an ink fountain device for a printing press that can be used.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention made to achieve the above object is provided with an original roller, an ink fountain body which is disposed in proximity to the original roller and forms the bottom surface of the ink fountain, and is positioned at the lower end of the bottom surface of the ink fountain, An ink key capable of adjusting a gap with the original roller, an ink fountain side plate which is provided at both ends of the ink fountain body to form an ink fountain end surface, and a long protective film for protecting the inner surface of the ink fountain. A protective film drawn out from the protective film supply roll and passed through an ink key so as to cover the bottom surface of the ink fountain, and a portion of the protective film covering the bottom surface of the ink fountain is drawn outside the ink fountain, and the protective film A protective film transport device for running the protective film so that a new part drawn from the supply roll is positioned on the bottom surface of the ink fountain, The protective film has a width substantially equal to the bottom surface of the ink fountain, and has flap portions for covering the end surface of the ink fountain on both side edges thereof at a constant pitch in the longitudinal direction. The movable position of the ink fountain plate is retracted from the operating position at the both ends of the ink fountain and the retracted position that is lower than the operating position and does not interfere with the travel of the flap when the protective film travels. A gist of an ink fountain device for a printing press is provided with an ink fountain side plate driving device that is moved to a position.
[0007]
In the ink fountain apparatus configured as described above, the protective film covers the bottom surface of the ink fountain and the end surface of the ink fountain during normal printing to protect it from being smudged with ink. Moves the ink fountain side plate to the retracted position, and in that state, the protective film transport device runs the protective film and pulls out the part of the protective film covering the bottom surface of the ink fountain, and places the new part on the bottom surface of the ink fountain. After that, the ink fountain side plate driving device lifts the ink fountain side plate to its original operating position, and at this time, when the ink fountain side plate rises, the flaps formed on both sides of the protective film are folded inward, Position to protect side plate. Thus, the bottom surface of the ink fountain and the end surface of the ink fountain are covered with a new portion of the protective film, so that the next printing operation can be prepared, and the manual ink fountain cleaning operation that has been conventionally performed becomes unnecessary.
[0008]
Here, it is preferable that the flap portion formed on the protective film has a shape having an end surface protection portion covering the ink fountain end surface and a margin portion sandwiched between the original roller and the ink fountain side plate. . With this configuration, the flap covers and protects not only the surface of the ink fountain side plate (the end surface of the ink fountain) but also the end surface pressed against the original roller, ensuring that the ink fountain side plate is protected and the ink adheres. Can be prevented satisfactorily.
[0009]
In addition, a cylindrical member having an outer diameter substantially equal to the outer diameter of the original roller is disposed at both ends of the original roller so as to face the ink fountain side plate so as not to rotate even if the original roller rotates, In addition, it is preferable that a margin portion of the flap portion of the protective film is sandwiched and fixed between the ink fountain side plate. With this configuration, the margin of the flap portion can be fixed by being sandwiched between the cylindrical member and the ink fountain side plate, so that even if the flap portion contacts the surface of the rotating original roller, it is pulled and moved. In addition, the protective film can always be kept attached to the inner surface of the ink fountain during printing.
[0010]
Furthermore, the ink fountain body can be moved to an operating position for forming the ink fountain together with the original roller, and a retracted position retracted below the position, and a drive device for moving the ink fountain body is provided. preferable. With this configuration, when the protective film is moved, the ink fountain body is placed in the retracted position, so that the protective film can be easily moved and the force for moving the protective film can be reduced.
[0011]
As said protective film conveyance apparatus, it can be set as the structure provided with the winding roll which winds up a protective film. In this case, it is desirable to provide a residual ink removing device for scraping and removing the residual ink on the protective film upstream of the winding roll. If it is set as this structure, a protective film can be rolled up in the state which removed the residual ink, a used protective film can be wound up compactly, and the space which an apparatus requires can be made small.
[0012]
In addition, the protective film conveying device can be configured to include a driving roller that simply conveys the protective film. In that case, the protective film conveying device is separated from a cutting device that separates the fed protective film downstream of the driving roller. It is desirable to provide a waste film receiver for storing the protective film. With this configuration, the protective film with the used ink may be separated and simply put into the waste film receiver, and the structure of the apparatus becomes simple.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention uses the ink fountain side plate that forms the end face of the ink fountain as the protective film disposed on the inner surface of the ink fountain and that has flap portions on both side edges. The ink fountain body is configured to move to the working position located at both ends of the ink fountain and to the retracted position lower than that position, so that the ink fountain bottom surface and ink fountain end surface are covered with a protective film during normal printing. When cleaning for color change, etc., move the ink fountain side plate to the retracted position, run the protective film in that state, pull out the part of the protective film that covered the bottom surface of the ink fountain, and Place the part on the bottom of the ink fountain, then lift the ink fountain side plate to its original working position, and fold the flaps formed on both sides of the protective film inward The ink fountain end surface can be protected, and the ink fountain bottom surface and the ink fountain end surface can be covered with a new part of the protective film very simply and quickly. It is possible to reduce the ink fountain cleaning operation that has been performed manually, and to shorten the stop time of the printing press, thereby improving the productivity.
[0029]
Here, when the flap portion formed on the protective film has a shape having an end surface protection portion covering the ink fountain end surface and a margin portion sandwiched between the original roller and the ink fountain side plate, the flap portion Covers and protects not only the surface of the ink fountain side plate (the end surface of the ink fountain) but also the end surface that is pressed against the original roller, ensuring the protection of the ink fountain side plate and preventing the ink from adhering well. can get.
[0030]
In addition, a cylindrical member having an outer diameter substantially equal to the outer diameter of the original roller is disposed at both ends of the original roller so as to face the ink fountain side plate so as not to rotate even if the original roller rotates, With a configuration in which a margin portion of the flap portion of the protective film is sandwiched between and fixed to the ink fountain side plate, the flap portion margin portion can be sandwiched and fixed between the cylindrical member and the ink fountain side plate, and the flap portion rotates. Even if it pulls in contact with the surface of the original roller inside, it does not move, and the effect that the protective film during printing can always be kept in a state of being satisfactorily adhered to the inner surface of the ink fountain can be obtained.
[0031]
Further, the ink fountain body can be moved to an operating position for forming the ink fountain together with the original roller, and a retracted position retracted below the position, and a drive device for moving the ink fountain body is provided. By placing the ink fountain body in the retracted position when moving the protective film, the protective film can move easily, the force to move the protective film can be reduced, and the protective film can be prevented from being damaged during the movement. The effect is obtained.
[0032]
Further, as a protective film conveying device for running the protective film, the protective film conveying device includes a winding roll for winding up the protective film, and the remaining ink on the protective film is scraped and removed upstream of the winding roll. If an ink removing device is provided, it can be rolled up in a state where residual ink is removed from the protective film, and the used protective film can be wound up compactly, reducing the space required for the device. The effect is obtained.
[0033]
Further, the protective film transporting device includes a driving roller for simply transporting the protective film, and a cutting device for cutting off the fed protective film and a discharge device for storing the separated protective film downstream of the driving roller. If the film receiver is provided, the protective film with the used ink may be simply separated and put into the waste film receiver, and the effect of simplifying the structure of the apparatus can be obtained.
