【0001】

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to various pumps, and more particularly to a vane pump.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, ceramics excellent in wear resistance, corrosion resistance and the like have been used as sliding members constituting various pumps and various bearings.
[0003]
For example, a vane pump used as a compressor of a refrigerator, an air conditioner, or the like is made of a metal member. However, the use of ceramics for improving wear resistance has been studied. That is, JP-A-58-41287, JP-A-59-168291, and JP-A-59-206691 disclose vane pumps in which the housing, rotor, and vane are made of ceramic. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 60-6092 discloses a vane compressor in which a compression chamber component is made of ceramic.
Further, silicon nitride, silicon carbide, and alumina are shown as ceramics used for these.
[0004]
Furthermore, a vane pump having a structure in which a solid lubricant is partially combined has been proposed in order to further improve slidability.
[0005]
For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 62-126281 shows an example in which a vane pump housing and rotor are zirconia having a tetragonal crystal structure, and a vane is a molded body in which a solid lubricant is mixed with a polyimide resin. . Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 62-210275 discloses a housing and a rotor made of ceramics in which 5 to 50% by weight of titanium carbide is added to alumina, ceramics in which vane is added to alumina and titanium carbide is added to 5 to 50% by weight of alumina, silicon carbide. An example of a molded body obtained by mixing a solid lubricant with silicon nitride or polyimide resin is shown. Further, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 2-3834 discloses a ceramic vane pump in which a composite structure of vanes is formed, and boron nitride as a solid lubricant is slidably fitted to alumina and silicon carbide formed with recesses. Has been.
[0006]
It has also been proposed to form various coatings on the sliding surface.
[0007]
In JP-A-59-128992, JP-A-63-167092, JP-A-1-227895, and JP-A-2-308966, it is possible to form a film such as TiC, TiN, silicon nitride, graphite, etc. It is shown.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In recent years, in vane pumps (hereinafter referred to as vane type compressors) used as compressors for refrigerators and air conditioners, changes in refrigerant due to the complete abolition of specific CFCs are rapidly progressing. As for specific chlorofluorocarbons, chlorine in the components causes the destruction of the ozone layer, and therefore alternative refrigerants such as reducing the amount of chlorine in the components or eliminating chlorine are being adopted. Accordingly, the oil dissolving power of the refrigerant is much smaller than that of the specific Freon, and the amount of lubricating oil dissolved in the refrigerant is inevitably reduced. Therefore, the slidability of members constituting the vane pump is an extremely important condition.
[0009]
However, the vane pump using the sliding member made of ceramics as described above has a problem that the sliding resistance between the ceramics or between the ceramics and the other member is large although it is excellent in wear resistance. In addition, zirconia ceramics have problems such as a significant decrease in characteristics due to a change in crystal structure due to a hydrothermal reaction.
[0010]
In addition, when a composite material of solid lubricant and ceramics is used, the frictional force at the time of sliding can be reduced, but there is a problem that the structure is complicated, the manufacturing is difficult and the cost is increased.
[0011]
Furthermore, even if a coating was formed on the sliding surface, it was still not satisfactory in terms of slidability.
[0012]
Although only the vane pump has been described above, the same problem occurs in various pumps such as a centrifugal pump and a plunger pump.
[0013]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Therefore, in the present invention, a diamond film or an amorphous hard carbon film is formed on at least one sliding surface of a member constituting the pump.
[0014]
That is, a rotor in which an outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical rotor is brought into contact with an inner peripheral surface of a cylinder of a housing, a vane is disposed with an elastic member interposed in the housing, and a tip of the vane slides intermittently. In the vane pump formed by pressure contact with the outer peripheral surface of the silicon nitride, the rotor has a Vickers hardness of 10 GPa or more and a center line average roughness (Ra) of the intermittent sliding surface of 0.03 to 0.6 μm. In addition to being formed of ceramics, the intermittent sliding surface is provided with a diamond film having a film thickness of more than 0.3 μm and not more than 10 μm .
[0015]
Further, according to the present invention, the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical rotor is brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder of the housing, and the vane is disposed with the elastic member interposed in the housing, and the tip of the vane is intermittently provided. In the vane pump press-contacted with the outer peripheral surface of the sliding rotor, the rotor has a Vickers hardness of 12 GPa or more, and the centerline average roughness (Ra) of the intermittent sliding surface is 0.05 to 0.6 μm. And an amorphous hard carbon film having a film thickness of 0.3 to 1.5 μm on the intermittent sliding surface.
[0017]
[Action]
According to the present invention, the intermittent sliding surface of the rotor constituting the vane pump is made of a diamond film or an amorphous hard carbon film having high hardness, self-lubrication, and environmental stability. The slidability between the members can be increased. Therefore, the frictional resistance during sliding can be reduced, and the amount of wear of the sliding member itself and the sliding counterpart member can be reduced.
[0018]
Therefore, even if a refrigerant having a low lubricating oil dissolving power is used in the vane pump, it has a simple structure, excellent wear resistance, a low frictional force, and contributes to environmental conservation and labor saving.
[0019]

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described using a vane pump as an example.

Next, the case where it forms with the diamond film which comprises the film 2b is explained in full detail.
[0028]
Here, since the diamond film has a high Vickers hardness of 60 to 110 GPa, it is extremely excellent in wear resistance.

When the

And the surface roughness (centerline average roughness: Ra) of these ceramics shall be 0.03-0.6 micrometer. This is because if the surface roughness (Ra) is less than 0.03 μm, the adhesion of the coating 2b is low, while if it exceeds 0.6 μm, the wear of the sliding counterpart material is promoted.

A diamond coating 2b is formed on the surface of such a base material by a CVD method, a PVD method, or the like, and the film thickness is in the range of 0.3 to 10 μm. This is because when the film thickness is less than 0.3 μm, stress concentrates on the contact point at the time of sliding, and the coating film 2b tends to break, whereas when it exceeds 10 μm, the manufacturing cost increases and the film strength decreases. Because.
[0033]
On the other hand, the case where the coating 2b is formed of an amorphous hard carbon film will be described in detail.
[0034]
Here, the amorphous hard carbon film is also called a synthetic pseudo-diamond thin film, diamond-like carbon, DLC, i-carbon, and the like. Is similar to graphite and amorphous carbon, and has properties such as hardness and similar properties to diamond.
[0035]
This amorphous hard carbon film can be analyzed by laser Raman spectroscopy. That is, when the peak position of the Raman spectrum by laser Raman spectroscopy is detected, an extremely sharp peak is present at 1200 to 1400 cm −1 in the case of the diamond film, whereas 1200 to 1400 cm in the case of the amorphous hard carbon film. -1 or 1500-1600 cm -1 can be distinguished by the presence of a broad peak.
[0036]
The amorphous hard carbon film is suitable as a sliding member because it has a high Vickers hardness of 30 to 50 GPa and an excellent sliding property.
[0037]
When the coating 2b is formed of an amorphous hard carbon film, the
[0038]
And the surface roughness (centerline average roughness: Ra) of these ceramics shall be 0.05-0.6 micrometer. This is because when the surface roughness (Ra) is less than 0.05 μm, the adhesion of the coating 2b is low, while when it exceeds 0.6 μm, the wear of the sliding counterpart material is promoted.
[0039]
The amorphous hard carbon film 2b is formed on the surface of such a base material by CVD, PVD, or the like, and the film thickness is in the range of 0.3 to 1.5 μm. This is because if the film thickness is less than 0.3 μm, the coating 2 b tends to be peeled off, while if it exceeds 1.5 μm, the manufacturing cost increases, and cracks are generated due to thermal stress during sliding, and the film 2 b tends to peel off. Because.
[0040]
In the above embodiment, only the vane pump has been described. However, it can be applied to various other pumps for reference . For example, the rotary pump shown in FIG. 2 pumps fluid from the suction port 21a to the discharge port 21b by rotating two
[0041]
Further, the plunger pump shown in FIG. 3 reciprocates the
[0042]
Furthermore, in rotary pumps such as centrifugal pumps, screw pumps, uniaxial eccentric screw pumps, and axial flow pumps, a diamond film or an amorphous hard carbon film is formed on the sliding surface of a bearing portion that supports a rotating body such as an impeller. It can be applied to various other pumps.
[0043]
Experimental example 1
Experiments were conducted to measure the friction coefficient and the amount of wear with a ball-on-disk type wear tester in which a ball is slid onto a rotating disk.
[0044]
As an example of the present invention, the surface roughness (Ra) of silicon nitride ceramics was set to 0.05 μm, and a diamond film having a film thickness of 10 μm formed thereon by CVD was used as a disk. Further, as a comparative example, a disk made only of ceramics of alumina, silicon nitride, and silicon carbide was prepared. On the other hand, a ball made of high carbon chromium bearing steel (SUJ2) was used.
[0045]
This ball was pressed against the surface of each disk with a pressing force of 9.8 N, and the experiment was performed for 0.5 hour under a dry non-lubricant at a disk sliding speed of 5 m / s. The specific wear amount was measured.
[0046]
The results are as shown in Table 2. From this result, it was confirmed that the embodiment of the present invention provided with the diamond film had a friction coefficient of 0.08 and was extremely excellent in slidability, and the amount of wear on the disk side ball side was extremely small.
[0047]
[Table 2]
[0048]
Experimental example 2
Next, on the disk on which the diamond film was formed in Experimental Example 1, the surface roughness (Ra) of the silicon nitride ceramic as a base material and the film thickness of the diamond film were variously changed, and the same experiment as described above was performed. Then, the presence or absence of peeling of the diamond film and the specific wear amount of the ball as the counterpart material were measured.
[0049]
The results are as shown in Tables 3 and 4. From the results shown in Table 3, when the surface roughness (Ra) of the base material is 0.03 μm or less, peeling tends to occur and the wear amount of the mating material increases. Becomes larger.
Therefore, it was found that the surface roughness (Ra) of the base material is preferably in the range of 0.03 to 0.6 μm.
[0050]
Further, from the results shown in Table 4, it was found that when the film thickness is 0.3 μm or less, peeling easily occurs, so that the film thickness is preferably 0.3 μm or more.
[0051]
[Table 3]
[0052]
[Table 4]
[0053]
Experimental example 3
Next, an experiment for forming an amorphous hard carbon film was performed.
[0054]
Using the same ball-on-disk testing machine as in the above experimental example, the disk was formed of alumina ceramics, and the surface roughness was variously changed as shown in Table 5, and an amorphous hard carbon film having a thickness of 1 μm was formed. What was formed was prepared. Further, high-carbon chromium bearing steel (SUJ2) was used as the ball of the sliding partner.
[0055]
Table 5 shows the results of measuring the peeling of the amorphous hard carbon film and the amount of wear on the ball side after the experiment was conducted under the same conditions as described above.
[0056]
From this result, when the surface roughness (Ra) of the alumina ceramic as a base material is less than 0.05 μm, the film adhesion is low and the film is easy to peel off. Was big. Therefore, it was found that the surface roughness (Ra) of the base material should be in the range of 0.05 to 0.6 μm.
[0057]
[Table 5]
[0058]
Experimental Example 4
Next, in the disk formed with the non-small hard carbon film in Experimental Example 3, the surface roughness (Ra) of the alumina ceramic as the base material was set to 0.3 μm, and the same experiment was performed by changing the film thickness variously. went.
[0059]
As shown in Table 6, peeling is likely to occur when the film thickness is less than 0.3 μm. On the other hand, when the film thickness exceeds 1.5 μm, cracks occur in the amorphous hard carbon film due to thermal stress during sliding. There was a fear. Moreover, it took time to make the film thickness larger than 1.5 μm, and the cost was high. Therefore, it was found that the film thickness of the amorphous hard carbon film is preferably in the range of 0.3 to 1.5 μm.
[0060]
[Table 6]
[0061]
Experimental Example 5
Next, the same experiment was performed by changing the material of the base material on which the amorphous hard carbon film was deposited. The base material surface roughness (Ra) was 0.3 μm, and the amorphous hard carbon film thickness was 0.7 μm. Each disk was constructed, and an experiment using a ball-on-disk tester similar to the above was performed.
[0062]
The results are as shown in Table 7. As is apparent from this result, the friction coefficient was large when the amorphous hard carbon film was not deposited, and the specific wear amount of the disk and ball was also large. Even when an amorphous hard carbon film was applied, when a metal material having low hardness was used as the base material, both the friction coefficient and the wear amount of the disk and ball were large.
[0063]
On the other hand, a ceramic having a Vickers hardness of 12 GPa or more and having an amorphous hard carbon film deposited thereon has a friction coefficient of 0.12 or less, and the specific wear amount of the disk and ball can be extremely reduced. Understand.
[0064]
[Table 7]
[0065]
Experimental Example 6
In the above experimental examples, the case where an amorphous hard carbon film is formed on the disk side of the ball-on-disk tester has been described, but conversely, an experiment was conducted by forming an amorphous hard carbon film on the ball side. .
[0066]
That is, the disk is made of high carbon chrome chrome bearing steel (SUJ2), the ball is made of alumina ceramic, and the surface is coated with an amorphous hard carbon film. A similar experiment was conducted.
[0067]
As a result, the amorphous hard carbon film deposited on the ball side was easily peeled when sliding, and as a result, the wear amount of the disk and the ball was large.
[0068]
This is because the disc side is an intermittent sliding surface while the ball side is a continuous sliding surface that always slides, and the amorphous hard carbon film of the present invention is formed on the intermittent sliding surface. It is preferable to do.
[0070]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, at least one intermittent sliding surface of a member constituting the pump is provided with a diamond film or an amorphous hard carbon film, thereby reducing the friction coefficient and sliding. Since the wear amount of both the members can be made extremely small, excellent sliding characteristics can be maintained over a long period of time.
[0071]
In particular, if the present invention is applied to a vane pump, it is possible to provide a high-performance vane pump that is excellent in slidability and wear resistance even when a refrigerant having a low lubricating oil dissolving power is used by changing the refrigerant due to the complete abolition of specified CFC Can do.
