上記の課題を解決するため、この発明においては、シールド電線を位置決め点に保持するクランプ機構と、外皮を剥いで電線の先端部に予め露出させた編組を外側からたたいてその編組の先端側を外向きに反り曲がらせる編組拡げ機構とを備える編組反転装置に、電線の外周を囲む反転部材を電線に対し電線長手方向に相対移動させ、その反転部材で先端が拡開した編組をしごいて電線の外皮上に折り返す編組反転機構と、反転させた編組を周方向に複数に分割した成形具で外側から加圧して電線の外皮に添わせる成形機構を含ませたのである。
