従来の門型加工機について図3および図4により説明すると、門型加工機1はワーク2を乗せて図中左右(X方向)に移動するテーブル3を跨いで門型のコラム4が設けてある。同コラム4にはクロスレール5がテーブル3の上部のY方向(図面に対し垂直方向)に取付けてあり、このクロスレール5にはY方向に移動するサドル6に取付けた図中上下方向(Z方向)に移動する工具を設けた主軸頭7が取付けてある。従来クロスレール5上のサドル6をY方向に案内するためには図4に示すようにリニアガイド8を横方向に並べた無限軌道形ころ案内であった。

【発明が解決しょうとする課題】
しかしながら、Y方向に移動するサドルは移動とともに精度的に良くない「ころ」等に出合い、その都度機械的うねり或いは衝撃があり、精密な加工に支障があった。

本発明の目的は前述のようなY方向に移動するサドルに機械的うねり或いは衝撃があり、精密な加工に支障があったという欠点を解消することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前述の目的を達成するため本発明は一端面に第一の主軸頭を取付け他端面に第二の主軸頭を取付けたサドルと、このサドルを嵌着するとともにV−Vころがり案内を有するクロスレールと、を設け、前記第二の主軸頭は前記サドルを介して前記第一の主軸頭と重量的なバランスを取るようにしたことを特徴とする門型加工機とした。

またこれら第一の主軸頭と第二の主軸頭が夫々異なった機能を有すれば最適である。

以下本発明の実施の形態を説明する。図1は本発明を用いる門型加工機10である。門型加工機10はX方向に移動するテーブル11を跨いで門型のコラム12が設けてあり、同門型コラム12にはテーブル11の上部Y方向にクロスレール13が取付けてある。このクロスレール13にはV−Vころがり案内14が設けてあり、同V−Vころがり案内14に案内されて一端面に主軸15を取付けたZ方向に移動可能な主軸頭16を取付けるとともに、他端面にはバランスウェイト17を取付けたサドル18がY方向に移動する。
