【産業上の利用分野】
本発明は、家庭で使用する天ぷら油や、暖房用の灯油、食品業者が食品加工工程で使用する天ぷら油やアルコール、酒造業者が製造する各種酒類、工業生産者が被洗浄物の洗浄作業や水切り乾燥に使用するアルコール、その他の溶剤、切削・圧延作業で使用する加工用油、各種工業生産作業で溶媒として使用するアセトン等の可燃性液体の引火を簡単に消火する。また、前記可燃性液体が引火の危険を生じた際に、その引火を防止する事を目的とした、可燃性液体の消火又は引火防止方法及びその装置に係るものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、家庭や工場等で、可燃性液体を使用した作業中に、これらの可燃性液体に引火を生じた場合、消火器等で適宜の消火剤や消火ガスを噴霧する事により消火を行っていた。例えば、燃焼中の可燃性液体に、二酸化炭素、ハロン、窒素等のガスを噴射する事により、酸素を遮断して消火を行う方法、水やアルカリ金属塩水溶液等の液体を噴霧する方法、重炭酸ナトリウムや重炭酸カリウム等の粉末を散布する方法等があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、この従来方法では、可燃性液体が完全に隔離されず、燃焼現場に存在した状態で消火を行おうとするため、上記の消火剤等を多量に使用し、しかも消火に多くの時間を必要とし、他への類焼の危険も高いものであった。また、燃え残った可燃性液体に、前記消火剤が混入するため、再使用する事はできず、破棄するしかなかった。そのため、資源の無駄を生じて不経済であるばかりでなく、環境破壊を生じる虞れもあった。また、この消火作業により、可燃性液体だけでなく機材や室内も激しく汚染されてしまうため、後始末も面倒であった。

このような問題点により、埃や微生物等の侵入を厳重に防止する必要があり、密閉空間で作業を行うクリーンルームでは、従来方法での消火作業は特に不向きであった。

本発明は上述の如き問題点を解決しようとするものであって、家庭や業務で使用する可燃性液体に引火した際に、簡単な方法で確実に消火する事を可能とする。また、火災を消火するだけでなく、高温化等により引火の危険を生じた可燃性液体の引火を防止する。

また、この消火及び引火防止作業時の可燃性液体の汚染を防止し、消火又は引火防止作業後の対象物の再使用を可能として、経済性を向上するとともに、環境保護も可能とする。また、このように機能性に優れた消火又は引火防止装置を、単純な構造で廉価に形成する。

尚、本明細書で示す可燃性液体とは、家庭で使用する天ぷら油や、暖房用の灯油、食品業者が食品加工程で使用する天ぷら油やアルコール、酒造業者が製造する各種酒類、工業生産者が被洗浄物の洗浄作業や水切り乾燥に使用するアルコール、その他の溶剤、切削・圧延作業で使用する加工用油、各種工業生産作業で溶媒として使用するアセトン等、引火性のある液体の一切を含むもので、真空タンクの負圧により、吸引・回収が可能な可燃性の液体を示すものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、上述の如き課題を解決するため、引火又は引火の危険を生じた収納部内の可燃性液体を、この可燃性液体を全て導入し得る真空タンク内に導入して消火又は引火の防止を行う事を特徴として成るものである。

また、上記方法の発明を実施するための装置は、可燃性液体の収納部と、内部を減圧し負圧による可燃性液体の導入を可能とした、収納部よりも大きな液体収納量の真空タンクと、この真空タンクと可燃性液体の収納部とを接続する接続体と、この接続体と真空タンクとの接続を制御する制御バルブとから成るものである。

また、真空タンクは、真空ポンプを接続して内部を減圧可能としても良い。

【作用】
本発明は、上述の如く構成したものであり、家庭や工場等で、可燃性液体の使用中や保管中に、これらに引火や引火の危険を生じた場合、消火又は引火防止作業を行うには、この燃焼中の可燃性液体を収納した収納部に真空タンクを接続する。この接続は、耐熱性のホース、パイプ等の接続体を介して行う。次に、接続体と真空タンクとの間に設けた制御バルブを開放する事により、真空タンクの負圧を利用して、収納部内の可燃性液体を真空タンク内に導入する。

このように、収納部内の可燃性液体を全て真空タンク内に導入する事により、収納部では燃焼原因が除去される。そのため、収納部の火は直ちに消え、延焼による大火災を良好に防止可能となる。また、燃焼中の可燃性液体を引火状態で真空タンク内に導入しても、外気と遮断されて酸素が存在しないので、真空タンク内で火災が生じることはなく、安全である。尚、真空タンクへの導入が完了したら、制御バルブを閉止する事により、真空タンク内の可燃性液体が収納部内に逆流しないようにする。

また、引火した可燃性液体の消火と同様に、高温化等により引火の危険を持つ可燃性液体を真空タンクに導入して、収納部から除去する事により、引火を防止する事ができる。

このように、可燃性液体の消火や引火防止作業を、複雑な操作手順や電力や動力等を必要とせず、制御バルブを開放するだけの簡単な操作で迅速に行う事が可能となる。そのため、パニック状態に於いても、操作者は円滑に消火又は引火防止作業を行う事ができる。また、装置を簡単な構造で廉価に形成する事ができる。

また、人体に害を及ぼす可能性のある消火剤やガスを使用しないので、人が存在する場所でも安全な使用ができる。更に、真空タンク内に導入した可燃性液体が消火剤等によって汚染されないので、再使用が可能となり、経済性が向上するとともに環境保護も可能となる。また、可燃性液体だけでなく、収納部等の機材や室内の汚染も防ぐので、消火後の掃除等の後始末も簡単であり、食品加工や工業生産作業等の再開を迅速に行う事ができる。また、このように汚染が少なく人体にも安全である事により、密閉空間で埃や微生物等の侵入を厳重に防止して作業を行う必要のあるクリーンルーム等での使用に特に適したものとなる。

尚、真空タンク内の可燃性液体を再使用する際には、制御バルブを開放し、接続体を介して真空タンク内の可燃性液体を収納部内に戻す事により行う。この復元の際は、真空タンクが収納部よりも上部側に位置している場合には、接続体を介して真空タンク内に外気を導入するとか、真空タンクに接続した真空解除バルブを開放する等の方法により、真空タンク内の可燃性液体は自重で収納部内に排出される。また、真空タンクが収納部よりも下部側に位置しているとか、可燃性液体の急速な収納部への移送が必要な場合には、適宜の手段で真空タンク内に圧力気体を導入する等の方法により、真空タンク内の可燃性液体を収納部内に強制的に押し出すものである。

上述の如く可燃性液体の収納部への復元作業を行うと、真空タンク内の減圧が解除され
る。そのため、上記真空タンクは、真空ポンプを接続して内部を減圧可能とすれば、可燃性液体の排出後に、真空ポンプにより再び真空タンク内を減圧して、次回の可燃性液体の消火又は引火防止に備える事ができる。

また、真空タンクは、予め内部を減圧密封した真空容器とし、真空ポンプを接続せずに形成しても良く、コンパクトで廉価な消火又は引火防止装置を形成可能である。そして、従来の家庭用消火器の如きサイズで形成すれば、家庭でも適宜の場所に手軽に持ち運んで使用する事ができる。また、使い捨て商品として形成しても良いが、使用後に真空容器を回収して、製造元にて再び内部を減圧密封すれば、再使用が可能で経済的である。

また、真空タンクと収納部との接続は、各々に予め接続体を連結固定するものであれば、消火又は引火防止作業を行う際に、真空タンクと収納部との接続作業を省く事ができる。そして、制御バルブの開放を行うだけで作業が完了するので、消火又は引火防止作業を、迅速に行って、火災の拡大を良好に防止する事ができる。従って、業務用の大きな貯油タンクや洗浄槽、酒樽等、大規模な収納部でも、迅速な作業が可能となる。この場合、制御バルブの開閉を、センサー等に接続して制御し、引火や引火の危険が生じた際に、制御バルブを自動的に作動させる事も可能となる。

また、接続体は、収納部又は真空タンクと予め連結固定するのではなく、可動自在に形成した接続体を、可燃性液体の導入時に真空タンク又は収納部に連結して行うものであっても良い。このように形成すれば、任意の場所に真空タンクを移動して、消火又は引火防止作業を行う事ができる。また、本発明用に収納部や真空タンクを特別に形成しなくても、既存の製品を組み合わせて消火又は引火防止装置を形成する事もできる。また、真空タンクと接続体及び制御バルブにて装置を構成し、既存の家庭用天ぷら鍋や業務用の貯油タンク、洗浄槽、酒樽等に接続体を接続して使用する事もできる。

【実施例】
以下、本発明の一実施例を図1に於て説明すれば、(1)は真空タンクで、開閉バルブ(2)を介して真空ポンプ(3)を接続し、この真空ポンプ(3)により内部を減圧状態としている。また、真空タンク(1)は、圧力計(4)を接続して内部の減圧状態を確認可能とするとともに、真空解除バルブ(10)を接続して、減圧解除も可能としている。

また、(5)は収納部で、貯油タンク、可燃性溶剤の収納タンク、酒樽、洗浄槽等である。この収納部(5)に、アルコール、酒類、可燃性溶剤、加工油、アセトン、その他の可燃性液体(6)を収納している。

そして、上記収納部(5)と真空タンク(1)とに、耐熱性の金属パイプや硬質樹脂パイプで形成した接続体(7)を各々連結固定している。この接続体(7)には、適宜の制御バルブを設け、この制御バルブを開閉する事により、接続体(7)を介して真空タンク(1)と収納部(5)との連通及び非連通を可能としている。本実施例では、この制御バルブとして、収納部(5)に備えたセンサー(図示せず)に接続し、このセンサーの感知信号に応じて作動する自動開閉バルブ(11)を使用している。

この自動開閉バルブ(11)は、通常時は自動的に閉止され、収納部(5)と真空タンク(1)は非連通状態を保つ。そして、収納部(5)に備えたセンサーが、可燃性液体(6)の引火や高温化を感知すると、自動開閉バルブ(11)が開放されるので、収納部(5)と真空タンク(1)とが連通し、真空タンク(1)の負圧による吸引力で、接続体(7)を介して収納部(5)内の可燃性液体(6)を真空タンク(1)内に導入可能としている。また、真空タンク(
1)は、収納部(5)よりも大きな液体収納量を備えるのが好ましい。

また、接続体(7)には、自動開閉バルブ(11)とは別個に、手動で開閉操作が可能な手動制御バルブ(8)を、自動開閉バルブ(11)と並列に設けている。そして、災害や停電等で電力や動力がストップし、自動開閉バルブ(11)が作動不能となった場合、この手動制御バルブ(8)を手動で開放し、可燃性液体(6)の引火時の消火又は引火防止作業を行えるようにしている。また、緊急時以外でも、この手動制御バルブ(8)にて操作者が任意に収納部(5)と真空タンク(1)との連通又は非連通を制御する事ができる。また、可燃性液体(6)を導入した真空タンク(1)では、前記真空解除バルブ(10)を開放して減圧を解除するとともに、自動開閉バルブ(11)又は手動制御バルブ(8)を開放する事により、真空タンク(1)内の可燃性液体(6)を収納部(5)内に戻す事が可能である。

上述の如く構成したものに於いて、食品加工作業又は工業生産作業時の可燃性液体(6)への引火に備えるには、自動開閉バルブ(11)及び手動制御バルブ(8)を閉止して、収納部(5)と真空タンク(1)とを非連通状態とするとともに、真空ポンプ(3)にて真空タンク(1)の内部を減圧しておく。そして、収納部(5)に可燃性液体(6)を導入し、天ぷら揚げ作業、酒造作業、その他食品加工作業、切削・圧延作業、洗浄作業、乾燥作業、その他工業生産作業を行う。

この収納部(5)への可燃性液体(6)の導入時や保管時、或いは収納部(5)内の可燃性液体(6)を使用しての各種作業中に、収納部(5)内の可燃性液体(6)が引火又は引火の危険を生じると、収納部(5)のセンサーが感知し、自動開閉バルブ(11)を開放する。尚、この自動開閉バルブ(11)が何等かの原因で作動しなかった場合は、人手により手動制御バルブ(8)を開放する。この自動開閉バルブ(11)又は手動制御バルブ(8)の開放により、収納部(5)と真空タンク(1)とが連通し、負圧による吸引力で、収納部(5)内の可燃性液体(6)が真空タンク(1)内に導入される。そして、収納部(5)内の可燃性液体(6)が全て真空タンク(1)内に導入されたら、接続体(7)の自動開閉バルブ(11)又は手動制御バルブ(8)を閉止し、真空タンク(1)内の可燃性液体(6)が収納部(5)内に逆流しないようにする。

上述の如く可燃性液体(6)を全て真空タンク(1)内に導入する事により、収納部(5)内で発生した火災を迅速に消火する事ができるし、引火の危険を防止する事ができる。また、収納部(5)に多少の可燃性液体(6)が残留していても、すぐに燃え尽きて、延焼等による大規模な火災を防ぐ事ができる。また、真空タンク(1)内に燃焼中の可燃性液体(6)を導入しても、真空タンク(1)の内部は外気と遮断されていて酸素が存在しないので、真空タンク(1)内で火災が発生する事はなく、可燃性液体(6)の安全な導入と保管が可能となる。

このように、収納部(5)内の可燃性液体(6)に引火を生じた場合には、自動開閉バルブ(11)が自動的に開放するか又は、人手により手動制御バルブ(8)を開放するだけで、消火作業を迅速に行う事ができ、延焼等の火災の拡大を良好に防ぐものとなる。また、自動開閉バルブ(11)を用いれば、引火等のパニック状態に於いても円滑に作業する事ができる。更に、手動制御バルブ(8)も、開放作業のみの簡易な操作が可能となるから、緊急時の確実な作業を可能とする。また、迅速な消火により、可燃性液体(6)の焼失や収納部(5)、その他の機材等の被害も少なく食い止める事ができる。更に、消火作業に、人体に悪影響を及ぼす可能性のある消火剤やガス等を使用していないので、人体に安全な作業が可能となるとともに、可燃性液体(6)、収納部(5)その他の機材及び室内の汚染を良好に防ぐ事ができる。

この汚染防止効果により、消火完了後の室内や装置の後始末が簡単で、迅速な復旧が可能となるとともに、可燃性液体(6)の再使用が可能となる。即ち、作業場の後始末が完了して、食品加工作業や工業生産作業が再開可能となったら、真空タンク(1)内に導入した可燃性液体(6)を収納部(5)に戻す。その方法は、自動開閉バルブ(11)又は手動制御バルブ(8)を開放するとともに、真空解除バルブ(10)を開放して、真空タンク(1)の減圧を解除する。この操作により、真空解除バルブ(10)を介して真空タンク(1)内に外気が流入し、真空タンク(1)内の可燃性液体(6)が接続体(7)を介して収納部(5)内に復元するものとなる。

尚、真空タンク(1)が収納部(5)よりも上部側に位置している場合には、上記真空解除バルブ(11)の開放と外気の流入により、真空タンク(1)内の可燃性液体(6)は自重で収納部(5)内に排出される。しかし、真空タンク(1)が収納部(5)よりも下部側に位置しているとか、可燃性液体(6)の急速な収納部(5)への移送が必要な場合には、真空解除バルブ(10)等から真空タンク(1)内に圧力気体を導入すれば、真空タンク(1)内の可燃性液体(6)を収納部(5)内に強制的かつ迅速に押し出す事ができる。

また、上記第1実施例では、接続体(7)を金属パイプ又は硬質樹脂パイプで形成し、収納部(5)と真空タンク(1)の双方に連結固定しているが、他の異なる第2実施例では、接続体(7)は、図2に示す如く、耐熱性のホースで可動自在に形成し、その一端を真空タンク(1)のみに接続している。この真空タンク(1)に、自動開閉バルブ(11)と手動制御バルブ(8)を設け、真空タンク(1)と接続体(7)との連通又は非連通を制御可能としている。また、接続体(7)は、他端側は収納部(5)とは連結固定せず、収納部(5)内に自在に挿入可能としている。

そして、可燃性液体(6)を使用しての各種作業中に、引火又は引火の危険を生じた場合は、まず収納部(5)に接続体(7)を挿入し、可燃性液体(6)の吸引準備を行う。次に、自動開閉バルブ(11)が自動で開放するか、又は手動制御バルブ(8)を手動で開放する事により、収納部(5)と真空タンク(1)とを連通し、負圧による吸引力で収納部(5)内の可燃性液体(6)を真空タンク(1)内に導入する。この導入により、収納部(5)での消火を確実に行う事ができるし、引火の危険を回避する事もできる。尚、可燃性液体(6)の真空タンク(1)内への導入後は、第1実施例と同様に自動開閉バルブ(11)と手動制御バルブ(8)とを閉止し、収納部(5)への逆流を防ぐ。

しかしながら、第2実施例では、自動開閉バルブ(11)又は手動制御バルブ(8)の開放操作だけでなく、接続体(7)を収納部(5)に挿入する操作を必要とする。これに対して、第1実施例では、予め接続体(7)と収納部(5)とを連結固定しているので、自動開閉バルブ(11)又は手動制御バルブ(8)の開放のみを行えば良く、迅速な作業が可能となる。また、大規模な収納部(5)の場合は、接続体(7)を収納部(5)と真空タンク(1)に予め連結固定している構造の方が、可燃性液体(6)の流動圧に対する接続体(7)の安定性が増し、真空タンク(1)への円滑な導入が可能となる。以上の理由により、使用目的や規模に応じて、第1又は第2実施例の構造の消火又は引火防止装置を形成するのが好ましい。

【発明の効果】
本発明は上述の如く構成したので、可燃性液体に引火又は引火の危険性を生じた時に、可燃性液体を真空タンク内に隔離して事故現場から除去するため、引火の危険の除去又は消火が確実となる。また、この消火及び引火防止を、可燃性液体を汚染する事なく行う事ができるから、資源の再使用が可能となって、経済性が向上するとともに、廃棄物を減少して、環境汚染も防止する事ができる。

また、機材や室内等の汚染も防ぐので、消火後の復旧作業も簡単かつ迅速に行う事ができる。また、人体に悪影響を及ぼす可能性のある消火剤やガス等を使用しないので、人体にも安全な作業が可能となる。このような利点により、汚染を厳重に防止する必要性があるクリーンルーム等の密閉空間での使用に、特に適した装置となる。また、可燃性液体の引火及び引火防止装置を、単純な構造で廉価に得る事ができる。
