本発明は、被包装物を包装する包装装置に関し、詳しくは、粉、粒体あるいは含水分が多い物質等、壁面に付着し易い被包装物の包装に用いて好適な包装装置に関する。

包装装置の一例として、上下方向に沿って配置されるとともに、帯状の包装フィルムが両端縁部を合わせた状態で外周側に巻き付けられる筒状の製袋筒と、該製袋筒で合わせられた包装フィルムの両端縁部同士を両側から挟んで接着させる第一シール手段と、製袋筒に巻き付けられた包装フィルムを下方に送る移送手段と、製袋筒の下方に設けられ、該製袋筒から下方に送られた包装フィルムを両側から挟んで接着させる第二シール手段と、製袋筒内に設けられ、被包装物を計量して下部出口部から落下させる計量手段とを有し、第一シール手段で両端縁部同士が接着されかつ第二シール手段で下側が閉塞された状態の包装フィルム内に、被包装物を、計量手段から落下させ製袋筒から排出させて充填した後、該被包装物が充填された包装フィルムの上側を第二シール手段で閉塞させてピロー型の包装物を形成するものがある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記のように製袋筒が均一な内径であると、被包装物が、粉、粒体あるいは含水分が多い物質等の場合、計量手段の下部出口部から落下された被包装物が製袋筒の内周面に付着してしまうことがある。
これにより、包装物に充填される被包装物の量が若干ばらつくという問題が生じた。
さらに大きな問題として、上記のように製袋筒の内周面に付着していた被包装物は、落下のタイミングを制御することが不可能であるため、第二シール手段による接着直前のタイミングで落ちると、この被包装物を接着部分に挟み込んで接着が行われ、これにより接着部分にシール不良を生じてしまうことがあった。

図1は、本実施例の包装装置の概略構成を示すもので、該包装装置は、縦方向に包装フィルムを送りつつ被包装物を包装してピロー型の包装物を形成する、いわゆる縦型ピロー包装装置である。

該包装装置は、基端側がロール状に巻かれた一定幅の帯状をなす熱溶着性の包装フィルム11と、該包装フィルム11を引き出して繰り出すフィルム繰出ローラ12と、該フィルム繰出ローラ12による包装フィルム11の繰り出し側に上下方向に沿って配置されるとともに、包装フィルム11が両端縁部を合わせた状態で外周側に巻き付けられる円筒状の製袋筒13と、該製袋筒13への包装フィルム11の巻き付けをガイドするガイド板10と、上下動可能に設けられ製袋筒13に巻き付けられた包装フィルム11を吸着した状態で下方に移動することにより該包装フィルム11を下方に送る移動吸引器(移送手段)14とを有している。ここで、図1中符号15で示すものは、包装フィルム11の張力あるいは位置等を調整する調整ローラであり、符号16で示すものは包装フィルム11の有無を検出する光電管装置である。
