特開平4−82821号公報には、セラックを歯の美容剤として用いる例が開示されているが、この美容剤はエタノール溶液である為に口腔粘膜に対して刺激が強いなどの問題があった。この為、より使いやすく確実に歯に光沢を与える製品が望まれている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明者らは、上記課題を解決するべく鋭意検討した結果、以下に示す手段により課題を解決することができることを見いだし本発明を完成した。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、セラックを含有させることによって、歯に光沢を与える歯磨き組成物(ただし、練歯磨き組成物を除く)〔以下の記載において同じ〕である。また、本発明は、セラックを含有し、更にフッ化油及び/又は殺菌剤を含有して成る歯に光沢を与える歯磨き組成物(ただし、練歯磨き組成物を除く)である。更にまた、本発明はセラック、フッ化油及び殺菌剤を含有して成る歯に光沢を与える歯磨き組成物(ただし、練歯磨き組成物を除く)である。本発明はまた、粉末状、顆粒状又は液状の歯磨きにおいてセラックを含有することを特徴とする歯磨き組成物、又は粉末状、顆粒状または液状の歯磨きにおいてセラックを含有し、更にフッ化油及び/又は殺菌剤を含有することを特徴とする歯磨き組成物である。

本発明に使用するセラック(日本薬局方)は、ラックカイガラムシ[LacciferLacca Kerr(Coccidae)]の体を覆っている分泌物を精製して得られる樹脂状の物質である。セラックは淡黄褐色ないし褐色のりん片状細片で、堅くてもろく、つやがあり、においはないか、又はわずかに特異なにおいがある。水、エーテル、ヘキサン、イソオクタンには不溶であるが、エタノール、プロピレングリコールには可溶である。例えば、プロピレングリコールにはその溶解性は25℃において100mg/mlであり、また37℃において500mg/mlである。セラックは、通常ワックスを5〜6%含むが、精製セラックは脱ロウしたものである。セラックの主成分はアレウリ酸(aleuric acid)2モルと、セロン酸(Shelloic acid)2モルと、セラック樹脂酸4モルとの混合ラクチッドで、その推定構造式は次式によって表されると言われている。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明に係る歯磨き剤の製造方法は、セラックをプロピレングリコ−ル等の従来の歯磨き組成物に汎用される物質に溶解するほかは、従来の歯磨き組成物と同様である。FOMBLIN HC(登録商標)は、ほとんどの溶媒に不溶性であるが、乳化、分散性が良いので例えばプロピレングリコールや、グリセリン等に混合して使用できる。殺菌剤も、歯磨き組成物に通常用いられる溶媒に溶解または分散して使用できる。
