本発明は、粉立性の抑制されたかつ分散性及び溶解性の改善されたN−長鎖アシルアミノ酸及び/又はその塩を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明者は、上記課題を解決すべく鋭意研究の結果、N−長鎖アシルアミノ酸及び/又はその塩に見られる粉立性と分散性及び溶解性の悪さとは過度の乾燥に起因すること、従って、N−長鎖アシルアミノ酸及び/又はその塩の水分含量を調整すれば、このような粉末を主成分とする粉末洗浄剤の前述した調製時及び使用時の問題点が解消されることを見出し、このような知見に基いて本発明を完成した。

すなわち、本発明は、水分含量が3.5〜10重量%であるN−長鎖アシルアミノ酸及び/又はその塩、特にN−ラウロイルグルタミン酸のナトリウム塩及びカリウム塩に関する。また、本発明は、該N−長鎖アシルアミノ酸及び/又はその塩からなる洗浄剤に関する。

以下、本発明を逐次説明する。

過度の乾燥により水分含量が過度に小さくなった、粉立性の強いかつ分散性及び溶解性の悪い、例えば、市販のN−ラウロイル−L−グルタミン酸のナトリウム塩の粉末の水分含量は通常1重量%強であるが、この水分含量を3.5〜10重量%に調整する(調湿工程)には特別の困難はなく、例えば、調湿すべき粉末を平らに拡げて高湿度の外気に曝すだけでも目的を達成することができるが、より能率よく行なうには、加湿器などを用いて行なう強制調湿によることができる。水分含量が高くなるに従い、粉末の状態はサラサラになり、粉立が減少するが、水分含量が約10重量%を超えるとN−ラウロイルグルタミン酸のナトリウム塩の粉末は粉末性を失い、好ましくはない。
