Description
【0001】
P1(z-1)=T・z-1/{M・(1−z-1)}
γ=exp(−T/Tb)
C2(z-1)=M・(1−γ)・(1−z-1)/{T・(1−γ・z-1)}
C3=K={1−exp(−T/Ta)}・M/T
【0023】
y4(k)=K・{Vspr(k)−Vsp(k)}
【0024】
y3(k)=γ・y3(k−1)+(1−γ)・M・{Vsp(k)−Vsp(k−1)}/T
【0025】
y1(k)>0の場合は、y5(k)≦y1(k−1)
y1(k)<0の場合は、y5(k)≧y1(k−1)
y2(k)=γ・y2(k−1)+(1−γ)・y5(k−1)
Tor=y1・Rt
L=Tor・Vspr/Rt または、L=y1・Vspr
L=Tor・Vspr/Rt または、L=y1・Vspr
Gcvt=Ner・Rt/Vsp/Gf,
Ter=Tor/Gcvt/Gf

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle speed control device that controls the traveling speed of a vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art and its problems]
2. Description of the Related Art A vehicle speed control device that includes a disturbance estimator that estimates a disturbance such as running resistance based on a driving force command value and an actual vehicle speed using a vehicle control system model and corrects the driving force command value based on the estimated disturbance value is known. (See, for example, JP-A-8-207619).
In this type of vehicle speed control device, the driving force command value input to the disturbance estimator is limited by the upper and lower limit values of the driving force determined by the upper and lower limit values of the engine torque and the gear ratio. This is because if the disturbance estimator using a linear model is used as it is, errors will accumulate in the controller when the driving force is saturated during climbing or sudden acceleration, and the saturated state of the driving force will be eliminated and the normal load state will be eliminated. This is because the vehicle speed convergence is deteriorated when the vehicle returns to.
[0003]
The difference in vehicle speed convergence characteristics between when the driving force command value to the disturbance estimator is limited and when it is not limited will be described with reference to FIGS. 10 and 11.
FIG. 10A shows a change in vehicle speed when the slope increases steeply in the constant speed control mode and the positive driving force is saturated, and FIG. 10B shows a steep decrease in slope in the constant speed control mode. The change in vehicle speed when the negative driving force is saturated. FIG. 11A shows the change in vehicle speed when the positive driving force is saturated in the acceleration control mode, and FIG. 11B shows the change in vehicle speed when the negative driving force is saturated in the deceleration control mode. In these drawings, the broken line indicates the characteristic when the driving force command value is not limited, and the solid line indicates the characteristic when the driving force command value is limited.
As is clear from these figures, if the driving force command value to the disturbance estimator is not limited when the driving force is saturated, a large vehicle speed overshoot occurs when the driving force is saturated and the normal load state is restored. However, the convergence characteristic to the target vehicle speed is deteriorated.
[0004]
However, the above-described conventional vehicle speed control device is intended for a vehicle equipped with a stepped transmission, and the following problems arise when applied to a vehicle with a continuously variable transmission. In other words, when controlling the engine torque and the gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission according to the driving force command value, if the driving force command value to the disturbance estimator is limited only by the saturation timing of the engine torque, it is obtained by the shift down. There is a problem that the maximum driving force that can be obtained cannot be obtained, and the vehicle speed deviation becomes large as shown by the solid lines in FIGS.
[0005]
An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle speed control device that suppresses a vehicle speed deviation when a driving force is saturated and quickly converges to a target vehicle speed when returning to a normal load state for a vehicle with a continuously variable transmission. There is to do.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
(1) The invention of
(2) The vehicle speed control apparatus according to
(3) The vehicle speed control device according to claim 3 is configured to determine the maximum gear ratio state based on at least the gear ratio, the vehicle speed, and the engine rotational speed by the maximum gear ratio state determining means.
[0007]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, when it is determined that the engine torque is saturated and the continuously variable transmission is in the maximum allowable gear ratio, the driving force command value input to the disturbance estimating means is limited. There is no false disturbance estimation when driving force is saturated, such as when climbing or suddenly accelerating or decelerating. That is, no estimation error is accumulated inside the controller. Therefore, since there is no accumulation error in the controller when the saturation state of the driving force is eliminated, the disturbance estimator acts quickly and the vehicle speed quickly converges to the set vehicle speed. In addition, since the drive command value is not limited until the engine torque reaches saturation and reaches the maximum allowable gear ratio, the maximum drive force can be reliably obtained, and the vehicle speed deviation when the drive force is saturated is minimized. be able to.

A method of calculating the final driving force command value y1 will be described.
As shown in FIG. 3, this calculation is performed using a vehicle speed feedback compensator using a model matching method and an approximate zeroing method which are linear control methods. The vehicle model to be controlled incorporated in the vehicle speed feedback compensator is modeled with the driving force command value as the manipulated variable and the vehicle speed as the controlled variable. In addition, the nonlinear steady state characteristic of the torque converter can be omitted. Then, for example, as shown in FIG. 4, a throttle opening command value is calculated so that the actual driving force matches the driving force command value using a pre-measured engine nonlinear steady-state characteristic map, and the throttle opening is servo-controlled. By doing so, the engine nonlinear steady-state characteristic can be linearized. Therefore, the vehicle model having the driving force command value as an input and the vehicle speed as an output has an integral characteristic, and the compensator can set the transfer characteristic of the vehicle model as a pulse transfer function P (z −1 ).
[0018]
In FIG. 3, z is a delay operator, and when multiplied by z −1 , the value is one sample period earlier. C1 (z −1 ) and C2 (z −1 ) are disturbance estimators using an approximate zeroing method, and suppress the influence of disturbances and modeling errors. Further, C3 (z −1 ) is a compensator based on a model matching method. As shown in FIG. 5, the response characteristic of the control target when the vehicle speed command value Vspr is input and the actual vehicle speed Vsp is output is determined in advance. Furthermore, the characteristics of the reference model H (z −1 ) having a first-order lag and a dead time element are matched.

It is necessary to consider the dead time, which is the delay of the power train, in the transfer characteristics of the controlled object. The pulse transfer function P (z -1 ) to be controlled with the driving force command value as input and the actual vehicle speed as output is an integral element P1 (z -1 ) and a dead time element P2 (z -1 ) ( = Z −n ).
[Expression 1]
P1 (z -1) = T · z -1 / {M · (1-z -1)}
Here, T is a sample period (10 msec in this embodiment), and M is an average vehicle weight.
[0020]
At this time, the compensator C1 (z −1 ) is expressed by the following equation.
[Expression 2]
C1 (z −1 ) = (1−γ) · z −1 / (1−γ · z −1 ),
γ = exp (−T / Tb)
That is, the compensator C1 (z −1 ) is a low-pass filter having a time constant Tb.
[0021]
Further, the compensator C2 (z −1 ) is expressed by the following equation as C1 / P1.
[Equation 3]
C2 (z −1 ) = M · (1−γ) · (1−z −1 ) / {T · (1−γ · z −1 )}
The compensator C2 is obtained by applying a low-pass filter to the inverse system of the vehicle model, and subtracts the running resistance from the driving force affected by the disturbance (running resistance) calculated backward from the actual vehicle speed Vsp, that is, the driving force. The calculated driving force can be calculated backward.
[0022]
Further, if the dead time of the controlled object is ignored and the reference model H (z −1 ) is a first-order low-pass filter with a time constant Ta, the compensator C3 has the following constants.
[Expression 4]
C3 = K = {1-exp (-T / Ta)}. M / T
[0023]
Next, a calculation corresponding to the model matching compensator C3 (z −1 ) is performed to obtain a driving force command value y4 for accelerating from the actual vehicle speed Vsp to the vehicle speed command value Vspr. If the data y (k−1) represents the data y (k) before one sample period,
[Equation 5]
y4 (k) = K · {Vspr (k) −Vsp (k)}
[0024]
Further, a part of the disturbance estimator shown in FIG. 3 corresponding to the robust compensator C2 (z −1 ) is calculated, and the driving force affected by the disturbance (travel resistance, etc.) based on the actual vehicle speed Vsp. Back-calculate y3.
[Formula 6]
y3 (k) = [gamma] .y3 (k-1) + (1- [gamma]). M. {Vsp (k) -Vsp (k-1)} / T
[0025]
The final driving force command value y1 (k) is obtained by correcting the driving force command value y4 with the estimated running resistance value Fr.
[Expression 7]
Here, y2 (k-2) is a value of two driving periods before the driving force y2 (k), and the calculation of the driving force y2 (output of the compensator C1) is performed by the integration element P1 (z -1 ) described above. It corresponds to the calculation, and using the value two samples before is equivalent to the calculation of the dead time element P2 (z −1 ). y3 (k) is a driving force affected by the running resistance obtained from the actual vehicle speed Vsp, and driving force y2 (k-2) is a driving force not affected by the running resistance obtained in the compensator. The difference between them becomes the running resistance estimated value (disturbance estimated value) Fr. As described above, the disturbance estimator configured by the approximate zeroing method can accurately estimate disturbance such as running resistance based on the difference between the output of the controlled object model and the actual output of the controlled object.
[0026]
Next, the final driving force command value y1 is limited within the upper and lower limit values. Normally, the final driving force command value y1 (k) is stored as y5 (k) which is the input of the disturbance estimator. However, when both the engine torque saturation flag and the downshift saturation flag are set, Limit processing is applied to the final driving force command value y1 (k) to obtain y5 (k).
[Equation 8]
When y1 (k)> 0, y5 (k) ≦ y1 (k−1)
When y1 (k) <0, y5 (k) ≧ y1 (k−1)
Further, a part corresponding to the compensator C1 (z-1) as a low-pass filter that is a part of the disturbance compensator is calculated.
[Equation 9]
y2 (k) = γ · y2 (k-1) + (1-γ) · y5 (k-1)
Finally, a drive torque command value Tor is obtained from the final drive force command value y1 (k).
[Expression 10]
Tor = y1 · Rt
Here, Rt is the effective radius of the tire.
[0027]
In
[Expression 11]
L = Tor · Vspr / Rt or L = y1 · Vspr
Then, using an engine characteristic map representing an iso-output line, an iso-fuel line, and an optimum fuel-consumption driving line as shown in FIG. 6, an operating point at which fuel consumption is minimized while realizing an output command value L (positive value), That is, a search is made for a point on the optimum fuel consumption driving line connecting the contact points of the equal output line and the equal fuel consumption line. Actually, a target engine operating point corresponding to the output value (positive value), that is, an engine rotational speed command value Ner determined by the intersection of the iso-output line and the optimum fuel consumption operating line is stored in advance in the map. A table lookup operation is performed using the command value L (positive value).
[0028]
In
[Expression 12]
L = Tor · Vspr / Rt or L = y1 · Vspr
Then, using an engine characteristic map that represents an engine torque line when the fuel is cut and the throttle is fully closed as shown in FIG. 7, the output command value L (negative value) is set in the fuel cut and throttle fully closed state. Find the engine operating point to be realized. Actually, the target engine operating point corresponding to the output value (negative value), that is, the engine rotational speed command value Ner determined by the intersection of the equal output line and the engine torque line when the fuel is cut and the throttle is fully closed is previously mapped. And the table is calculated with the output command value L (negative value).
[0029]
In
[Formula 13]
Gcvt = Ner · Rt / Vsp / Gf,
Ter = Tor / Gcvt / Gf
In the subsequent step 18, the engine torque command value Ter and the fuel cut prohibition flag are output to the
[0030]
The vehicle speed control result of the embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 8A shows the change in vehicle speed when the slope increases steeply in the constant speed control mode and the positive driving force is saturated, and FIG. 8B shows a steep decrease in the slope in the constant speed control mode. The change in vehicle speed when the negative driving force is saturated. In these drawings, the broken line indicates the control result by the conventional vehicle speed control device, and the solid line indicates the control result by this embodiment.
When the road gradient suddenly climbs during traveling in the constant speed control mode, the estimated disturbance value increases and the driving force command value increases. In order to make the driving force of the vehicle coincide with the driving force command value, the engine torque increases and the continuously variable transmission shifts down. In this embodiment, only when both the engine torque and the gear ratio are saturated, the driving force command value input to the disturbance estimator is limited so that it does not increase further. Not to do. That is, no estimation error is accumulated inside the controller. Therefore, when there is a return to a gentle gradient, there is no accumulation error inside the controller, so the disturbance estimator acts quickly and the vehicle speed quickly converges to the set vehicle speed. Further, since the limit function described above does not act until both the engine torque and the gear ratio are saturated, the maximum driving force can be reliably obtained, and the vehicle speed deviation on the uphill can be suppressed to the minimum. It should be noted that the same effect can be obtained when the negative driving force, that is, the engine braking force is saturated on the downhill.
[0031]
FIG. 9A shows the change in vehicle speed when the positive driving force is saturated in the acceleration control mode, and FIG. 9B shows the change in vehicle speed when the negative driving force is saturated in the deceleration control mode. In these drawings, the broken line indicates the control result by the conventional vehicle speed control device, and the solid line indicates the control result by the embodiment.
In the acceleration control mode, in order to make the driving force coincide with the driving force command value, the engine torque increases and the continuously variable transmission shifts down. In the high speed range, both engine torque and gear ratio may saturate. Only in this case, the driving force command value input to the disturbance estimator is limited so that it does not increase any further. Never do. That is, no estimation error is accumulated inside the controller. Therefore, when there is no accumulation error inside the controller when returning to the constant speed control mode, the disturbance estimator acts quickly and the vehicle speed quickly converges to the set vehicle speed at the end of the acceleration control mode. Further, since the limit function described above does not act until both the engine torque and the gear ratio are saturated, the maximum driving force can be obtained with certainty, and the vehicle speed deviation during the acceleration control can be minimized. In the deceleration control mode, the same effect can be obtained when the negative driving force, that is, the engine braking force is saturated.
