Description

【0001】

[0001]
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a sheet for protecting a coating film, which makes it difficult to change or discolor a coating film and is suitable for protecting the surface of automobile bodies, parts, coated steel sheets and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Damage or gloss of paint film due to various floating or colliding objects such as dust, dust, rain, etc. when the painted automobile or its parts are loaded on trucks and ships and transferred to remote places such as overseas. Means for preventing blurring or discoloration are required.
Conventionally, as a preventive measure, a coating material containing a wax as a main component and having a thickness of 5 to 40 μm is known. However, it is difficult to form a wax coating with a uniform thickness, so that uniform protection cannot be obtained, it is easy to get dirty, it is vulnerable to acid rain, and the wax penetrates into the paint coating, causing discoloration, etc. In other words, a great deal of labor is required for the application and removal of the wax coating, and environmental problems such as the use of solvents and the treatment of waste liquids are easily induced.
[0003]
On the other hand, various surface protection sheets having an adhesive layer provided on a supporting substrate are known, and for an adherend having a coating film, a radiation-cured adhesive layer having a low glass transition point, There have been proposed those provided with a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive layer such as polyisobutylene (JP-A-2-199184, JP-A-6-73352). According to such a sheet system, the above-mentioned problems can be overcome. However, there is a problem in that when the protective sheet that protects the surface of the coating film is peeled off, the coating film may be altered or discolored, resulting in contamination that cannot be easily removed. It was.
[0004]
[Technical Problem of the Invention]
The inventors of the present invention have made extensive studies to overcome the above-described problems, and the above-mentioned alteration and discoloration problems of the coating film are caused by moisture mixing when the protective sheet is adhered to the coating film surface. It was investigated that it was caused by being sealed in. However, with water that can be easily perceived by large drops of water such as rainwater, the increase in labor is exceptional in advance wiping and subsequent reworking, and long-term contamination of water can be easily avoided. Even if moisture such as water droplets is difficult to perceive, it is difficult to eradicate the water contamination because the same coating discoloration occurs.
[0005]
Accordingly, the present invention provides a coating film that can protect the coating surface in a moisture-containing state and maintain the adhesive state as it is without peeling off the protective sheet even if it is continued for a long time. The challenge is to develop protective sheets.
[0006]
[Means for solving problems]
The present invention provides a sheet for protecting a coating film, which is provided with an adhesive layer on a supporting substrate, has a water droplet shielding property, and has a moisture permeability of 10 to 2000 g / m 2 · 24 hours.
[0007]
【The invention's effect】
Even if the coating film surface is adhesively protected in a state containing moisture, the moisture is evaporated and evaporated through the coating film protection sheet by the coating film protecting sheet having the above-described configuration with controlled moisture permeability, and the adhesion of the sheet Even if the state is continued as it is, the coating film can be prevented from being altered or discolored. Therefore, it is not necessary to peel off even if adhesive protection is performed in the presence of moisture. it can. Moreover, the infiltration of rainwater and the like can be prevented by the water droplet shielding property.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The sheet for protecting a coating film of the present invention is provided with an adhesive layer on a supporting substrate, has a water droplet shielding property, and has a moisture permeability of 10 to 2000 g / m 2 · 24 hours. The moisture permeability is more preferably 15 to 1800 g / m 2 · 24 hours, particularly 20 to 1500 g / m 2 · 24 hours, from the viewpoint of evaporating mixed water and preventing rainwater and the like from entering.
[0009]
Accordingly, as the support base material, an appropriate material showing at least the above-mentioned moisture permeability is used. Preferably, 50g / m 2 · 24 hours or more, especially 500~50000g / m 2 · 24 hours, but the water droplet shielding exhibit particularly moisture permeability of 1000~10000g / m 2 · 24 hours. The support base material which can be preferably used from this point is a porous film made of plastic.
[0010]
The plastic forming the porous film may be an appropriate one, and is preferably excellent in water resistance and the like. Examples include polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene, polyesters and polyurethanes, ethylene / vinyl acetate copolymers and polytetrafluoroethylene, polyvinyl chloride and polyvinylidene chloride, polyamides and acetal resins, polystyrene and polycarbonate, etc. It is done.
[0011]
The porous film is, for example, a method of casting a dispersion such as an emulsion, a method of stretching the film, a method of removing the mixed fine particles from the film mixed with the fine particles for removal by an elution process, and perforation such as embossing on the film. It may be formed by an appropriate method such as a method for performing the treatment or a sintering method in which the resin powder is fusion-treated under heating. From the viewpoint of evaporating mixed water and preventing rainwater and the like from entering, it is preferable that the average pore diameter is 10 μm or less, especially 5 μm or less, especially 0.001 to 2 μm. The thickness of the supporting substrate is generally 5 to 500 μm or less, especially 10 to 300 μm, 20 to 200 μm, but is not limited thereto.
[0012]
For the formation of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, for example, a suitable pressure-sensitive adhesive such as rubber or acrylic can be used. The rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive preferably uses a rubber-based polymer that does not have an unsaturated bond or has a small content in terms of long-term stability of performance. Examples of the rubber-based polymer include polyisobutylene, butyl rubber, styrene-ethylene-butylene copolymer-styrene, styrene-butadiene-styrene, and in particular, an ABA block polymer composed of a hydrogenated product thereof. Can be given.
[0013]
In preparing the rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive, one or two or more rubber-based polymers can be used. Further, for the purpose of controlling the adhesive properties, for example, terpene resins such as α-pinene and β-pinene polymers, diterpene polymers and α-pinene / phenol copolymers, aliphatic and aromatic, Contains appropriate tackifiers such as aliphatic and aromatic copolymer hydrocarbon resins, rosin resins, coumarone indene resins, (alkyl) phenol resins, xylene resins, alkyd resins, etc. can do.
[0014]
In addition, suitable softeners according to rubber polymers such as low molecular weight polyisobutylene for polyisobutylene and paraffinic oil for ABA type block polymer are blended as needed to control adhesive properties. can do. In addition, for the purpose of improving the moisture permeability in the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, particularly the rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, for example, a highly polar, hydrophilic or water-absorbing compound such as a water-absorbing resin or an emulsifier can be blended. In addition, appropriate additives such as fillers, pigments, anti-aging agents and stabilizers can be blended as necessary.
[0015]
On the other hand, the moisture permeability can be improved even when the adhesive layer is formed as a porous layer. The formation of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprising a porous layer includes, for example, a method of fiberizing a pressure-sensitive adhesive by a melt-blow method or a curtain spray method and depositing it on a nonwoven fabric, a method of partially coating a pressure-sensitive adhesive, etc. It can be performed by an appropriate method.
[0016]
Formation of the coating film protective sheet is, for example, a known adhesive sheet such as a method of applying a solution of a pressure-sensitive adhesive or a hot melt of the pressure-sensitive adhesive to a supporting substrate, or a method of transferring a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on a separator. It can carry out according to the formation method. The thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to be formed may be appropriately determined, and is generally 200 μm or less, especially 5 to 50 μm. The adhesive layer is protected by temporarily attaching a separator or the like until it is put into practical use, if necessary.
[0017]
The adhesive layer in the coating film protective sheet preferably has a continuous film structure from the viewpoint of water droplet shielding properties, but can also be a porous layer as described above. Even in the case of an adhesive layer composed of a porous layer, it is possible to form a moisture-permeable and water-blocking adhesive layer depending on the porous state. Further, in the present invention, the object can be achieved even by a system in which only the supporting base material has a water droplet shielding function. Therefore, in the present invention, it is sufficient that the water droplet shielding property is achieved in the entire coating film protecting sheet. In addition, water droplet shielding means the function which prevents infiltration of water droplets, such as rain water, and infiltration of the water | moisture content below a mist form is accept | permitted.
[0018]
The sheet for protecting a coating film of the present invention is, for example, an automobile body or part thereof coated with a coating film such as melamine / alkyd system, melamine / acrylic system, or urethane system, or a metal plate such as a steel plate, or a molded product thereof. It is preferably used for collision of minute objects to an adherend having a coating film made of, and the like, surface protection from chemicals and the like. In particular, it can be advantageously used when moisture is likely to be mixed when the protective sheet is adhered, or when rainwater or the like easily enters the sheet / coating film interface during outdoor storage or the like.
