【0001】

In recent years, karaoke machines that can display a background image of a song on a monitor in accordance with the performance of the song selected by the singer have become widespread.
Such karaoke machines have rapidly become widespread because they have a high level of entertainment that can enliven the banquet by inflating the image of the song with the background image displayed on the monitor. In the initial method to prepare, it is necessary to record the same number of background images on the recording medium as the number of songs prepared for the karaoke machine. Insufficient recording capacity has become a problem.
[0003]
Therefore, a method of recording music and background video to be displayed in accordance with the performance of the music on separate recording media, and reading music data and background video data from each recording medium by selection by a singer. Karaoke machines have been developed.
A conventional karaoke machine that reproduces music and background video by the above-described method includes a dedicated player depending on the reproduction method from each recording medium, as shown in FIG.
That is, in FIG. 7, the music is reproduced by reading the music data recorded on the CD-ROM by the CO-ROM player P1 equipped in the changer B ′, and the background video is reproduced for the video. This is done by reading the background video data recorded on the recording medium by the video player P2.
[0004]
However, in the above-described conventional karaoke machine, when either the CO-ROM player P1 or the video player P2 breaks down, the karaoke machine displays a background video in accordance with the performance of the music and enhances the atmosphere of the place. Can no longer fulfill its original function.
In particular, for commercial karaoke machines, the breakdown may cause great damage to store operations.
[0005]
The present invention has been made to solve the problems of the conventional karaoke machines as described above.
That is, the present invention relates to a karaoke machine having a high reliability and easy maintenance in a karaoke machine in which the reproduction of the music and the reproduction of the background image displayed in accordance with the performance of the music are performed from separate recording media. An object is to provide an apparatus.
[0006]
