BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is a method and apparatus for vaporizing liquefied natural gas (abbreviated as LNG), etc., and storing cold heat when supplying it as natural gas (abbreviated as NG) etc. in a regenerator tank storing a multi-component regenerator, and The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for reliquefying boil-off gas (abbreviated as BOG) as LNG when NG is not supplied by using the cold energy stored.
[0002]
[Prior art]
LNG is stored in a cold storage tank, and is paid out as NG for a thermal power plant or city gas. Since LNG delivered at the time of demand for NG was NG by exchanging heat with seawater, there was a problem that low temperature seawater was generated and the environment was affected.
In addition, although the LNG tank is kept cold, the BOG is generated by constantly evaporating part of the LNG due to heat from the outside, or partly evaporating when the LNG is delivered or received from the transport ship. . The generation amount of BOG is about 0.001 to 0.1% / hr with respect to the storage amount. In order to liquefy and recover BOG with LNG, it is thermally advantageous to use the cold energy at the time of LNG delivery, but since the amount of LNG delivery is small at night, late at night when power and heat demand is low, BOG cannot be directly liquefied using LNG cold heat.
[0003]
As a processing method of BOG, the refrigerant is cooled by using the cold generated when LNG is vaporized at the time of paying out, and when the shipment is reduced or stopped, the cooled refrigerant is used to reliquefy the BOG and the LNG There are known methods of returning to a tank (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. Sho 60-98300) or mixing with NG to be dispensed.
Further, as a technique for storing cold energy such as LNG and utilizing it when necessary, JP-A-60-98300 and JP-A-63-203997 disclose isopentane, isobutane or propane having a low freezing point and a high boiling point. Is used as a cold storage agent, and the technology of circulating the cold storage agent through a heat exchanger and using it is disclosed. However, in these cool storage agents, since the cool storage agent does not solidify, the cool storage agent can use only sensible heat, and a large-scale cool storage facility is required to store a large amount of cold LNG.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-263997 discloses some n-pentane that can solidify and use sensible heat and latent heat, but the heat transfer between the cooling pipe and the solidified n-pentane is poor. There is no problem because the solidified n-pentane layer is thin, but there is a problem that heat transfer becomes worse as the solid phase grows.
[0004]
In JP-A-3-236588 and JP-A-4-251182, an eutectic mixture of ethanol / water is used as a regenerator, and a pipe is passed through a regenerator filled with the regenerator inside. A method for reliquefying natural gas by disposing and flowing the evaporated natural gas into a pipe is disclosed. By using a eutectic mixture for the regenerator, in addition to sensible heat, the regenerator can also use latent heat during crystallization of the eutectic mixture for regenerator. However, there is a problem that the freezing point of ethanol / water is high, and further, if water adheres to the surface of the cooling pipe as ice, the heat transfer efficiency deteriorates.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-248599 discloses a method in which LNG cold is recovered by a compression heat pump and LNG in the LNG tank is supercooled to suppress generation of BOG. However, there is a problem that a heat pump is required and a complicated system such as a gas compression refrigeration cycle is used.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The object of the present invention is that the freezing point is low, so that it can be used at a low temperature of -100 ° C. or less, the sensible heat and the latent heat at the time of crystallization can be used, and the heat transfer is extremely reduced by the generation of the solid phase In other words, the cold energy of the liquefied gas such as LNG is stored, and the BOG is liquefied when the LNG is not in demand by using the stored heat.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
By using a multi-component regenerator containing a carrier gas such as HFC-134a, HFC-23 or HFC-32, propane, and nitrogen, the present inventors can convert the cold heat of a liquefied gas such as LNG into a regenerator. The present invention has been completed by finding that it can be stored as sensible heat and latent heat and that it can be used to liquefy BOG generated when LNG is not in demand.
[0007]
That is, the first of the present invention uses at least one selected from the group consisting of HFC-134a, HFC-23, HFC-32, propane and a mixture thereof, and a multicomponent regenerator composed of a carrier gas. , A process for discharging the regenerator gas and exchanging heat with LNG to liquefy a part of the regenerator gas, a process for recovering the liquefied regenerator into the regenerator, and a separate regenerator The present invention relates to a method for storing LNG cold heat, which comprises a step of generating a part of the regenerator as a regenerator gas by blowing into the regenerator.
As a result, since the freezing point of the regenerator is low, it can be used at a low temperature of −100 ° C. or less, the sensible heat of the regenerator and the latent heat at the time of crystallization can be used, and the heat transfer is extremely even when the solid phase is generated. The cold energy of liquefied gas, such as LNG, can be stored cold without decreasing.
In the second aspect of the present invention, a multicomponent regenerator composed of at least one selected from the group consisting of HFC-134a, HFC-23, HFC-32, propane, and a mixture thereof, and a carrier gas is stored as a liquid. A regenerator (3), a gas-liquid contact tower (4) provided at the top of the regenerator (3), a carrier gas circulator (9) provided between the top of the gas-liquid contact tower and the regenerator (3), A heat exchanger (2) for exchanging heat between the delivery LNG (12) and the regenerator gas (13) and a regenerator gas circulator (6) provided between the gas-liquid contact tower (4) and the heat exchanger (2) ), The regenerator gas (13) is supplied to the cooled side of the heat exchanger (2) by the regenerator gas circulator (6), and the discharge LNG supplied to the cooling side of the heat exchanger (2) ( 12) heat exchange with cold storage agent A part of the gas (13) is liquefied and the partially liquefied regenerator gas is supplied to the upper part of the gas-liquid contact tower, and the liquefied regenerator flows down in the gas-liquid contact tower and is collected in the regenerator (3). The remaining regenerator gas (15) is separately blown into the regenerator (5) in the regenerator through the gas-liquid contact tower top and into the regenerator (5) in the regenerator, and the regenerator gas from the regenerator (5) It is related with the cool storage apparatus of the LNG cold heat characterized by storing cold heat in a cool storage agent (5) by generating.
As a result, since the freezing point of the regenerator is low, it can be used at a low temperature of −100 ° C. or lower, and the sensible heat and the latent heat during liquefaction and crystallization of the regenerator gas can be used. The cold heat of liquefied gas such as LNG can be stored without drastically decreasing.
The third aspect of the present invention is to use at least one selected from the group consisting of HFC-134a, HFC-23, HFC-32, propane and a mixture thereof, and a multicomponent regenerator composed of a carrier gas. , A process for discharging the regenerator gas and exchanging heat with LNG to liquefy a part of the regenerator gas, a process for recovering the liquefied regenerator into the regenerator, and a separate regenerator And a step of generating a part of the regenerator as a regenerator gas, and a step of liquefying the BOG by exchanging heat between the regenerative agent regenerated during LNG non-demand and the compressed BOG. The present invention relates to a BOG reliquefaction method using a multicomponent regenerator.
Thereby, the accumulated BOG can be liquefied at the time of the non-demand of LNG using the cold energy stored by the 2nd of this invention.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, at least one selected from the group consisting of HFC-134a, HFC-23, HFC-32, propane, and a mixture thereof, and a multicomponent regenerator composed of a carrier gas is stored as a liquid. A regenerator (3), a gas-liquid contact tower (4) provided at the top of the regenerator (3), a carrier gas circulator (9) provided between the top of the gas-liquid contact tower and the regenerator (3), A heat exchanger (2) for exchanging heat between the delivery LNG (12) and the regenerator gas (13) and a regenerator gas circulator (6) provided between the gas-liquid contact tower (4) and the heat exchanger (2) ), And a BOG compressor (17) and a BOG cooler (11), and supply the regenerator gas (13) to the cooled side of the heat exchanger (2) by the regenerator gas circulator (6), Cooling of heat exchanger (2) The LNG (12) supplied to the heat exchanger exchanges heat to liquefy a part of the regenerator gas (13), and the partially liquefied regenerator gas is supplied to the upper part of the gas-liquid contact tower. It flows down in the liquid contact tower and is collected in the cold storage tank (3), and the remaining cold storage agent gas (15) is separately passed through the top of the gas-liquid contact tower and transferred to the cold storage agent (9) in the cold storage tank by the carrier gas circulator (9). 5) Blowing in and generating cold storage agent gas from the cold storage agent (5) to store cold heat in the cold storage agent (5) and then storing the cold storage agent (5) and BOG compression when LNG is not in demand The present invention relates to a BOG reliquefaction apparatus characterized in that BOG compressed by a machine (17) is heat exchanged by a BOG cooler (11) to liquefy BOG.
Thereby, the accumulated BOG can be liquefied at the time of non-demand of LNG using the cold energy stored in the third of the present invention.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
LNG is usually composed of a saturated hydrocarbon having 1 to 5 carbon atoms mainly composed of methane, cooled to −150 to −180 ° C. under normal pressure or pressure, liquefied and stored, and at normal pressure The vaporization temperature is -161 ° C. Therefore, the latent heat of vaporization and / or sensible heat until LNG is vaporized and becomes NG at the external temperature can be stored as cold. Further, the BOG can be reliquefied using the stored cold energy.
As described above, natural gas is a multi-component mixture containing methane as a main component, and the composition varies little by little depending on the production area. Therefore, the boiling point and dew point of BOG vary depending on the type of natural gas, but the boiling point shows almost the same value.
BOG accumulates at almost normal pressure in the upper part of the LNG tank, and its temperature is −100 to −160 ° C., and the main component is methane. The boiling point of BOG at normal pressure is about −161 ° C., the boiling point when compressed to 4 atm is about −140 ° C., and the boiling point when compressed to 40 atm is about −81 ° C.
[0009]
In the present invention, the payout LNG refers to LNG that is paid out as NG for a thermal power plant or city gas from a refrigerated LNG tank, and the demand period refers to a period during which LNG is paid out for the above-mentioned use. Means a period during which the amount paid out for the above-mentioned use is reduced or zero. Therefore, for example, the demand period is daytime, and the non-demand period is nighttime or early morning or a stop period of a thermal power plant or the like. Further, when necessary, for example, when cold heat is used to liquefy BOG.
BOG is paid out as NG for thermal power plants and city gas in the demand period, but is generated at an almost constant rate due to external heat in the non-demand period and accumulates in the upper part of the LNG tank. BOG is reliquefied by a regenerator. Therefore, in the present invention, it is not necessary to store a large amount of BOG in the upper part of the LNG tank.
[0010]
The BOG may be compressed by a compressor and liquefied by a cold storage device, or may be liquefied by a cold storage device after being precooled. As a method of pre-cooling, heat exchange can be performed at about −50 ° C. to room temperature, which is higher than the temperature of the regenerator used in the present invention, and LNG heat-exchanged by the regenerator in the present invention is discharged NG (approximately 5 ℃)) can be stored in pre-cooling equipment and used. Depending on the temperature stored in the regenerator, the BOG is compressed by the BOG compressor to 3-20 kgf / cm 2 (for example, about 4 kgf / cm 2 for liquefaction at -150 ° C.) The pre-cooling equipment pre-cools the compressed BOG, and then reliquefies using the cold storage heat of the cold storage device. Also, BOG generated when LNG is discharged during the day may be mixed with NG and the compression power required to discharge BOG and increase the pressure to NG is greater than the compression power required to liquefy BOG. Alternatively, the BOG may be liquefied by using the cold energy stored even when LNG is paid out during the daytime or the like.
[0011]
The multi-component regenerator used in the present invention is a regenerator that can store cold at −100 ° C. or less, and preferably suitable for use at about −120 ° C. to −200 ° C. The multicomponent regenerator forms a solid solution, and its freezing point is between −104 ° C. and −188 ° C., and is a medium in which cold energy is stored as sensible heat and latent heat of coagulation, and under pressure, −100 ° C. It is in a liquid state at a temperature up to room temperature exceeding the above, and is also in a slurry state at the time of solidification, and is agitated by a carrier gas jet, so that heat transfer efficiency is high. Furthermore, depending on the temperature, the liquefaction latent heat of the regenerator gas can be used.
The multi-component regenerator used in the present invention is selected from the group consisting of HFC-134a (CH 2 FCF 3 ), HFC-23 (CHF 3 ), HFC-32 (CH 2 F 2 ), propane and mixtures thereof. In addition, the carrier gas has a saturated solubility in the liquid phase (or solid phase), and most of the carrier gas exists in the gas phase.
By changing the ratio of HFC-134a: propane, the freezing point approaches −104 ° C. when the ratio of HFC-134a is high, and the freezing point approaches −188 ° C. when the ratio of propane is high. A freezing point can be selected.
Since the heat of solidification (heat of fusion) of HFC-134a and propane is 3.92 and 19.1 kcal / kg, respectively, the heat of solidification of these mixtures is more than 3.92 kcal / kg and less than 19.1 kcal / kg. The ratio of HFC-134a: propane can be selected according to the required cold storage temperature level.
In addition, for a mixture of HFC-134a and HFC-23, a mixture of HFC-134a and HFC-32, etc., a regenerator having a freezing point within a desired range by causing a freezing point depression by adjusting the composition ratio thereof. can do.
[0012]
As the carrier gas, at least one gas selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, hydrogen, methane, ethane, carbon monoxide, helium, argon, and mixtures thereof can be used. Nitrogen, hydrogen, methane, helium, argon or a mixture thereof is preferable, and nitrogen is particularly preferable.
[0013]
The ratio of each component of the multi-component regenerator used in the present invention is, for example, HFC-134a / propane = about 60 to 20 / about 40 to 80 (mol% ratio), and the carrier gas is in the liquid phase and / or Alternatively, the ratio is such that a saturated solubility component is present in the solid phase and a distribution in which most of the carrier gas exists in the gas phase.
However, since the carrier gas is not simply a carrier for the regenerator of the HFC-134a / propane mixed system, it changes the freezing point and heat of solidification of the HFC-134a / propane mixed system by being dissolved, so that the HFC-134a / propane / A multi-component regenerator (MCR) is composed of a three-component carrier gas.
The composition of these liquid phases is automatically determined in the range of temperature and pressure to be used, and the composition changes automatically as the temperature and pressure change (open cycle).
[0014]
In this example, at a cold storage temperature of −100 ° C. or lower, the partial pressures of HFC-134a and propane are sufficiently low, and the partial pressure of the carrier gas becomes dominant.
As a result of the carrier gas blowing into the multi-component regenerator, a mixed gas of propane, HFC-134a and carrier gas is supplied as a regenerator gas to the cooled side of the heat exchanger by the carrier gas circulator. LNG is supplied to the cooling side of the heat exchanger to exchange heat with the above regenerator gas, and a part of the regenerator gas, that is, a component having a high boiling point is preferred over a carrier gas such as propane and HFC-134a corresponding to the amount of cooling heat. Liquefied.
For this reason, the partial pressure of each cool storage agent component in the cool storage agent gas affects the efficiency of cold transfer.
The regenerator used in the present invention can be made non-explosive depending on the composition. In addition, the multi-component regenerator has almost no corrosiveness to metals and can be stored in a metal facility and used for a long time. Moreover, the multi-component regenerator used in the present invention has low ozone destructive properties, and has high safety regarding ozone destructive properties even when leaked to the outside.
[0015]
In the present invention, if desired, the multi-component regenerator may include other hydrocarbons having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, chlorofluorocarbons such as HCFC-124 (freezing point-199 ° C), HCFC-22 (freezing point-160 ° C), and the like. In order to adjust the freezing point, the heat of solidification, etc., they can be mixed and used.
[0016]
The regenerator used in the present invention stores the regenerator inside, and can be used under pressure, normal pressure, or reduced pressure, but is pressure-resistant in view of normal temperature. It is necessary to.
The cold storage tank used in the present invention is not particularly limited in order to store and use the cold storage agent in the cold storage tank, but various types such as a cylindrical shape and a spherical shape can be used. The cold storage tank may be vertical or horizontal.
The regenerator used in the present invention is provided with a gas-liquid contact tower. The gas-liquid contact tower is preferably provided in the upper part of the heat storage tank, and only the cold storage agent gas generated from the cold storage agent is supplied to the heat exchanger by the cold storage agent gas circulator, and the liquefied cold storage agent gas is supplied to the upper part of the gas-liquid contact tower. The liquefied cold storage agent flows down in the gas-liquid contact tower and is collected in the cold storage tank, and the remaining cold storage agent gas is passed through the top of the gas-liquid contact tower to the cold storage agent in the cold storage tank by the carrier gas circulator. To be able to supply.
[0017]
The gas-liquid contact tower may be a packed tower or a plate tower. As the shelf or the filler, those used for distillation or the like are used. The gas-liquid contact tower is filled with the necessary height of shelves or packing materials with appropriate materials, gas-liquid contact ability, pressure loss, etc.
The gas-liquid contact tower can be divided into an upper part and a lower part. The lower part of the gas-liquid contact tower separates the droplets of the regenerator liquid that is generated when the regenerator gas is generated by blowing the carrier gas into the liquid phase and / or solid phase regenerator in the regenerator,・ Only supply the regenerator gas to the circulator. In the upper part of the gas-liquid contact tower, the cooled cool storage agent and the rising cool storage gas come into contact with each other to exchange heat, and the uncooled cool storage gas enters the carrier gas circulator from the top of the gas-liquid contact tower. Try to suppress.
The remaining regenerator gas that has not been liquefied by heat exchange with LNG, that is, the remaining regenerator gas, is a small amount of HFC-134a, propane, and carrier gas, separately from the top of the gas-liquid contact tower by a carrier gas circulator. It is blown into the cool storage agent in the cool storage tank.
In order to jet carrier gas into the cool storage agent in the cool storage tank, for example, a pipe having a jet port at the bottom of the cool storage tank can be provided.
When generating the regenerator gas, it is influenced by the composition of the regenerator, the temperature that decreases as it cools, the amount of gas supplied by each circulator, etc., so that the operating conditions are determined according to the purpose.
[0018]
According to the cold storage method of the present invention, the cold storage amount per unit volume is large, and the cold storage operation is easy. That is, by using a multi-component refrigerant from a gas component having a low condensability to a gas component having a high condensability, and coexisting multiple components having a wide range of vapor pressure, freezing point, etc., from normal temperature to LNG normal pressure Heat transfer and cold storage up to a low temperature of the boiling point of −160 ° C. can be performed by using one multi-component refrigerant.
[0019]
As an example of the present invention, referring to FIG. 1, a method for regenerating liquefaction of BOG by storing the cold heat of the payout LNG will be described below.
In the LNG tank 1 (capacity 100,000 kl), LNG is stored at normal pressure or slightly pressurized at around −160 ° C., and BOG is stored at normal pressure or slightly pressurized at the upper part of LNG. Accumulated at -160 ° C. The amount of LNG delivered is, for example, 100 t / hr during daytime demand, and is paid out by being pressurized to 30 kgf / cm 2 by a pump, and the amount dispensed during non-nighttime demand is approximately 0 t / hr. The amount of BOG generated is always an average of 2 t / hr.
