このため、本発明にかかる車体構造は、後席を有するオープンカーにおいて、サイドメンバに下部が取り付けられて上方へ延び水平断面が車両前方に開口した略コ字状のタワー本体と、上記タワー本体に車両前方側から固定されて上記タワー本体の開口を覆う蓋部材とにより、上記後席の後方に閉断面のタワーが形成され、後席乗員に対するシートベルトのリトラクタが上記タワー内に設置されて、上記リトラクタから上方へ延び出した上記シートベルトが上記タワーの頂部付近で車両前方へ屈曲してガイドされるように構成されている。
