【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、主にパソコンに内蔵されるハードディスクやCD−ROMを挿入するドライブその他の電子機器部品等を包装箱に収納して包装する際、包装箱内に収納される複数の包装対象物を包装箱内面から隔離してかつ相互に接触しないように支持するための中仕切り兼用の包装用支持枠に関するものである。

【従来の技術と発明が解決しようとする課題】
パソコンのハードディスクやCD−ROMを挿入するドライブその他の電子機器部品を輸送する場合、段ボール箱等の包装箱に複数個が相互に接触しないように支持されて収納される。

このような包装形態において、包装状態での落下に対する強度や緩衝性を低下させることなく、複数の包装対象物を相互に隔離状態にしてコンパクトにかつ容易に包装できるようにするためのものとして、特開平8−175582号公報に開示の包装用支持枠が提案されている。

この提案の包装用支持枠は、合成樹脂発泡シートを素材として成形し、底板、左右側板さらには天板等の各構成板をヒンジ部を介して連設し、これら各構成板の内面側に、それぞれヒンジ部延在方向に包装対象物に相当する間隔をおいて間隔保持用の凸状部を並設するとともに、各凸状部間に2段の受面を有する受支用の凸部を設け、この凸部の両側端部に包装対象物のコーナーを位置決めするストッパー部を設けており、これにより包装対象物を所定の間隔を保有して、落下時にも底付きのおそれなく支持できるようになっている。

ところで、前記提案の包装用支持枠は、構成素材の発泡シートに対してその内面側に間隔保持用の凸状部および受支用の凸部を形成しており、本来のシート部が包装箱の内面に当接し、これより内方で包装対象物を支持する形態になっている。そのため、本来のシート部つまりは構成素材としての発泡シートは、包装対象物の外方を間隔を存して一回りする長さを必要とし、それだけ発泡シートが長く、使用樹脂量が多くなり、コスト高なものとなっている。

本発明は、上記に鑑みてなしたものであり、包装状態での落下に対する強度や緩衝性を損うことなく、複数の包装対象物を包装箱内面から離してかつ相互に接触させないように支持できる中仕切り兼用の包装用支持枠として、特にコスト低下を図るために、素材シートの長さを短かくし、使用樹脂量を少なくして、しかも従来の支持枠と遜色のない安定かつ良好な支持状態を保持できるようにした包装用支持枠を提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段および作用】
上記の課題を解決する本発明の包装用支持枠は、合成樹脂発泡シートより4面の各支持板部が包装対象物に対して斜めになるように成形され、上下部それぞれ左右2面で対をなす前記4面の支持板部がヒンジ部を介して四角筒状に折曲可能に連設され、各支持板部には、それぞれヒンジ部延在方向の所要間隔毎に、包装対象物のコーナー周辺領域を嵌合し保持する保持用凹部が外面側への膨出成形により並設され、前記ヒンジ部および端縁部を包装対象物の4辺外方に位置させて該包装対象物に対し斜めの四角筒状に折曲し組立てた状態で前記各支持板部の保持用凹部により包装対象物の各コーナー周辺領域を保持するように設けられてなり、前記保持用凹部には、包装対象物のコーナー部分を受けるコーナー受部を有するとともに、該コーナー受部の両側受面に連続して、前記ヒンジ部または前記端縁部とともに包装箱内面に当接するように外面側に突出形成された支え脚部を有し、前記コーナー受部を包装箱内面より隔離状態に保持できるように設けられてなることを特徴とする。

上記した本発明の包装用支持枠は、例えばハードディスク等を収容したボックスその他の電子機器部品等の包装に際し、4面の支持板部のうち、下部の左右2面の支持板部を両者間のヒンジ部を中央にして折曲して、両支持板部に有する保持用凹部を相対向させるとともに、上部の左右2面の支持板部を開いた状態にしておいて、包装対象物の下部左右のコーナー周辺領域をそれぞれ前記下部2面の支持板部の各保持用凹部に嵌め入れ、各コーナー部分を各保持用凹部に有するコーナー受部に支持させる。

こうして、複数の包装対象物を下部2面の支持板部の保持用凹部に嵌合し保持させた後、上部2面の支持板部をそれぞれ包装対象物の上に被せるようにヒンジ部で折曲し、それぞれに有する保持用凹部を包装対象物の上部左右のコーナー周辺領域に嵌合して、かつ各コーナー部分に対しコーナー受部を嵌め合せる。

また前記各支持板部(1)(2)(3)(4)における各保持用凹部(11)(21)(31)(41)の間の仕切り部(12)(22)(32)(42)は、それぞれの前後両端部(13)(14)、(23)(24)、(33)(34)、(43)(44)と同様に本来のシート部のままに残存させておくこともできるが、保持用凹部(11)(21)(31)(41)の最深部に相当する部分では、前後方向の弾性力が弱くなって、隣接する保持用凹部同士が接触するおそれがあるので、これを防止するため、図のように、仕切り部(12)(22)(32)(42)の中央部を落し込み形成しておくのが望ましい。この落し込み部(12a)(22a)(32a)(42a)の形状は、湾曲状に落し込み形成してもよいが、図のように三角状に落し込み形成しておくと、その頂角部がやや硬くなって仕切り部(12)(22)(32)(42)の前後方向の弾性変形に対する耐力が増し、隣接する保持用凹部同士の接触を防止する上で特に好ましい。

なお、上記実施例における各ヒンジ部(a1)(a2)(a3)は、通常素材シートからのトリミングと同時に行なわれる各保持用凹部や支え脚部等の成形の際に、該ヒンジ部相当個所を、例えばV溝状に加熱押圧することにより形成する。折曲角度が90°より小さくなるヒンジ部(a1)(a3)については、前記V溝を2条にして破断のおそれなく折曲できるようにするのがよい。

上記の構成素材である合成樹脂発泡シートとしては、ポリエステル系樹脂の発泡シートが、適度に剛性および弾性があってかつ強靱性があり、充分なヒンジ強度を保持できることから特に好適に用いられる。中でも、耐熱性等の機械的特性や経済性の点から、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレートを主成分とするものが好適に用いられる。このポリエステル系樹脂は、結晶性であり、この結晶化度を高くするほうが、耐熱性等の機械的特性は向上する。したがって、結晶化度は15%以上、好ましくは20%以上とするのがよい。

このほか、ポリスチレン系樹脂、ポリプロピレンやポリエチレン等のポリオレフィン系樹脂、ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂その他の適度の剛性および弾性を有して比較的腰のある合成樹脂発泡シートを用いることができ、中でも前記の発泡シートに非発泡樹脂をラミネートしてヒンジ強度を持たせた発泡シートを好適に用いることができる。さらに比較的硬い発泡シートと、比較的柔軟性のある発泡シートとを積層した発泡シートを用いることもできる。

前記の発泡シートの厚みは、使用素材によっても異なるが、ポリエステル系樹脂発泡シートの場合、0.5〜8.0mm、好ましく1.0〜3.0mm程度であり、発泡倍率は、5〜50倍程度のものが好適である。厚みが前記より小さくなると、充分な支持強度が得られなくなり、また厚みが前記より大きくなると、シートからの成形が困難になる上に嵩高になる。また発泡倍率が前記より小さいと、緩衝性が劣ることになる上、使用樹脂量が多くなり不経済であり、また発泡倍率が前記より大きくなると、強度上問題がある。もちろん包装対象物の種類や使用素材によっては前記以外のものを使用することもできる。

上記した本発明の実施例の包装支持枠(A)は、使用までの取扱においては、展開状態で多数枚を重ねて嵩低くしておくことができる。そして、例えばハードディスク、CD−ROMを挿入するドライブ等の電子機器部品その他の包装対象物(B)を集合状態で段ボール箱等の包装箱(C)に収納して包装する際に組立てて使用する。

【発明の効果】
上記したように本発明の包装用支持枠によれば、各支持板部を折曲して四角筒状に組立て構成して、各支持板部に有する保持用凹部に包装対象物のコーナー周辺領域を嵌合して保持させることにより、複数の包装対象物を相互に接触させず、かつ包装箱内面から隔離した状態に安定性よく支持でき、落下に対する底付き防止や緩衝性に優れており、緩衝保護を良好になすことができる。

しかも、本発明の包装用支持枠は、4面の各支持板部を包装対象物に対して斜めにする特殊な支持形態としたことで、素材シートを短かくできて、従来よりも資材の節約になり、コスト安価に製造、提供でき、経済的である。
