A00は、配布管理システム100とソフトウェア共有システム200とを接続するWAN(Wide Area Network)またはLAN(Local Area Network)を示す。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention provides a software distribution management system capable of automatically constructing each software sharing environment in response to an instruction from the distribution management system in a system in which software sharing systems that hold and manage software shared by a plurality of clients are distributed.ToRelated.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a system is known in which a plurality of client systems and a software sharing system that holds and manages software shared by these client systems are connected to a network and the software is shared by the plurality of client systems.
[0003]
In a relatively small shared system, the system administrator manually constructs a software sharing environment. On the other hand, when a software sharing environment is constructed in a relatively large system, a load may be concentrated on a certain software sharing system, such as requests for downloading shared software from a large number of clients. Therefore, in order to distribute the network load, for example, it is necessary to construct a software sharing environment to be distributed and arranged, for example, by arranging a group including a plurality of clients sharing software and a software sharing system.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the conventional method as described above, the system administrator has to manually construct a software sharing environment, and there is a disadvantage that the burden of software management update work for the administrator is large. In particular, in a relatively large system, the software sharing system needs to be constructed on a relatively high-speed network to which the client system is connected, and the software sharing system needs to be distributed and arranged for the purpose of network load distribution. In addition, since it is necessary to manually construct a software sharing environment for every distributed software sharing system, the burden of software management update work on the system administrator is very large.

Furthermore, when an environment is constructed so that software can be shared on the software sharing system, the software is applied to all client systems connected to the software sharing system. Therefore, it can be used when the software application time determined by the system administrator is reached, the software is returned to the previous generation due to a software defect, etc., or the software generation applied to each software user is controlled. Or a usage pattern such as grasping the usage status of software cannot be realized easily.
[0006]
In view of the above-described problems in the prior art, the present invention reduces the construction work of a plurality of software sharing environments that are distributed and provides flexible control according to the application date and time of use, the time of use, and the user. Software distribution management system that can be realizedTheThe purpose is to provide.
