【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、主にホテルや病院等で来客用に用いられる使い捨てに適した扁平型簡易スリッパとこの扁平型簡易スリッパの製造方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
一般的に室内履物として使用されるスリッパは、ほぼ足裏の大きさに形成されていて足の裏面を支持するための底板部材から成る底板部と足の爪先や甲部を覆う甲被覆部材から成る甲被覆部とから構成され、通常、前記底板部材の所定位置に甲被覆部材の周縁部をヒートシールによる熱接着や接着剤による接着や縫着など前記底板部材と甲被覆部の素材に応じた固着手段で取付けて形成している。
前記底板部材は足の裏面を支持するという目的からスリッパ形状を保持できる堅牢な材質である程度の厚さをもち、しかも衝撃に対して緩衝力をもつ材質が望ましく、また甲被覆部材は足の爪先や甲部を覆うという目的から足に違和感の少ない柔らかな材質が望ましいが厚さは比較的薄くても良いものとされている。一度あるいは数度の使用で捨ててしまう、いわゆる使い捨て用の簡易スリッパの素材としては、前記の目的を達成できると共に安価なものが要求され、底板部材としては、例えば、厚ボール紙、クッション性のある樹脂材、あるいはこれらに柔らかな不織布や紙や布などを積層したもの、甲被覆部材としては柔らかな熱可塑性の不織布などが用いられている。このように底板部材と甲被覆部材はその目的や機能から異質な素材で肉厚の異なる素材が用いられていることが多い。また、前記したように底板部材は種々なシート材を重ね合わせて形成されることが多いが、この底板部材の重ね合わせ部を互いに固着する個所と、この底板部材に更に甲被覆部材の周縁部を固着する個所では固着される素材や肉厚が不均一となってしまう
このように固着される素材が異質であったり、肉厚が不均一ある素材同志を、例えば熱接着によって同時に強固に接着することは大変困難であり、特に甲被覆部材が底板部材から剥がれやすいため、手間のかかる縫製作業によってこれらの接着工程を行なっているのが実情である。
しかも、底板部材に甲被覆部材を固着して形成した簡易スリッパは、使用目的に応じて底板部材のみを取り替えることが出来ない。

また、スリッパの甲被覆部と底板部との接合部、特に甲被覆部の両側縁部の後端側と底板部との接合部は、歩行による上下方向の強い圧力が加えられることから、この接合部の接着力が弱い場合には剥離してしまうおそれがあった。

このような甲被覆部と底板部との剥離を防ぐために、この接合工程を手間のかかる縫製作業によって行なう場合には、生産性が悪く製造コストが高くなってしまう弊害があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このように、底板部材に甲被覆部材を接着したタイプの接着型簡易スリッパの製品としての良否を決定する大きな要素は底板部材に対する甲被覆部材の接着性の良否と言われているが、本発明は、甲被覆部を含む扁平な包装形態の被覆シート部材から成るスリッパ主体と板状の底部補強部材とを別体とし、扁平な包装形態の被覆シート部材から成るスリッパ主体内に板状の底部補強部材を非接着な状態に包装することによって、素材が異なり接着な困難な甲被覆部材と底板部材を接着せずに構成した簡易スリッパを提供するものである。強固な接着が困難とされている甲被覆部材と底板部材を接着せずに簡易スリッパを形成することにより、底板部材の素材や厚さの選定が容易であり、例えば表面に凹凸部を形成した底板部材の採用も可能にした簡易スリッパを提供するものである。
また、スリッパ主体に対して底板部材のみ交換できる簡易スリッパを提供するものである。また、底板部材を包装してない被覆シート部材から成るスリッパ主体のみを、通常のビニール製やフェルト製のスリッパ内に挿入して使用するスリッパ用インソールとしても用いることができる簡易スリッパを提供するものである。
また、本発明の目的は、スリッパの甲被覆部の両側縁部として機能される部分を歩行による上下方向の圧力集中に対しても剥離しないように特に強化させた簡易スリッパを提供することである。特に、歩行による上下方向の圧力が集中され、甲を覆う部分と足で押圧される底部側とを互いに引き離す力が強く作用される甲被覆部の開口側縁部と足で押圧される底部側との境目を剥離しないように強化させたものである。
また、本発明の目的は、甲被覆部の両側部、特に歩行によって、甲を覆う部分と足で押圧される底部側とを互いに引き離す力が強く作用される甲被覆部の開口側縁部と足で押圧される底部側との境目が剥離されにくい新規な簡易スリッパを連続的かつ高速的に機械製造するのに適した製造方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するため本発明は、スリッパ輪郭形状の表面側被覆シート部(1)と底面側被覆シート部(2)とをもつ扁平な包装形態に形成された被覆シート部材(3)と、この被覆シート部材(3)の前記表面側被覆シート部(1)に形成され、該表面側被覆シート部(1)を甲被覆部(4)と踵被踏部(5)とに区分けする足入れ用開口部(6)によってスリッパ主体(20)を形成してあり、このように形成されたスリッパ主体の前記被覆シート部材(3)内の表面側被覆シート部(1)と底面側被覆シート部(2)の間にほぼ足裏の大きさに形成された板状の底部補強部材(30)を包装したことを特徴とする扁平型簡易スリッパを提供する。ここで提供された簡易スリッパは、甲被覆部(4)を含む扁平な包装形態の被覆シート部材(3)から成るスリッパ主体(20)と板状の底部補強部材(30)とを別体とし、扁平な包装形態の被覆シート部材(3)から成るスリッパ主体(20)内に板状の底部補強部材(30)を包装することによって、接着が困難な甲被覆部(4)と板状の底部補強部材(30)を接着せずに構成した簡易スリッパを提供するものである。

図1から図13は本発明の扁平型簡易スリッパを示している。これらの図面に示された扁平型簡易スリッパに共通する構成は、スリッパ輪郭形状の表面側被覆シート部1と底面側被覆シート部2とをもつ扁平な包装形態に形成された被覆シート部材3と、この被覆シート部材3の前記表面側被覆シート部1に形成され、該表面側被覆シート部1を爪先や甲を覆う甲被覆部4と踵で踏まれる踵被踏部5とに区分けする足入れ用開口部6によってスリッパ主体20を形成してあり、このように形成されたスリッパ主体20の前記被覆シート部材3内の表面側被覆シート部1と底面側被覆シート部2の間にほぼ足裏の大きさに形成された板状の底部補強部材30を包装したことである。
図1から図10に示した簡易スリッパは、甲被覆部4を含む扁平な包装形態の被覆シート部材3から成るスリッパ主体20と板状の底部補強部材30とを別体とし、扁平な包装形態の被覆シート部材3から成るスリッパ主体20内に板状の底部補強部材30を前記被覆シート部材30と互いに非接着な状態に包装することによって、接着剤による接着や、ヒートシールによる接着方法では、強固な接着が困難な甲被覆部4と板状の底部補強部材30を接着せずに構成したものである。図1から図10に示した簡易スリッパは、前記スリッパ主体20の被覆シート部材3内に包装されている底部補強部材30を、開口されている前記足入れ用開口部6から手作業で挿入して包装しても良く、機械的製造過程で包装しても良い。また、図1から図10に示した簡易スリッパは、前記スリッパ主体20を構成する前記被覆シート部材3内に前記底部補強部材30を内包してないスリッパ主体20のみでも簡易スリッパとして用いることができ、また、通常のビニール製などのスリッパ内に挿入してスリッパ用インソールとしても用いることができる。
また、図1から図13に示した簡易スリッパは、前記足入れ用開口部6として、湾曲した切れ目を図示してあるが、これに限定されず足の甲部を入れることができる開口部を形成したものであれば良い。

図1から図4に示した扁平型簡易スリッパは、熱可塑性の不織布など熱溶着可能な素材からなるシート部材によってスリッパ輪郭形状の表面側被覆シート部1と底面側被覆シート部2をもつ扁平な包装形態に形成された被覆シート部材3と、この被覆シート部材3の前記表面側被覆シート部1に形成され、該表面側被覆シート部1を甲被覆部4と踵被踏部5とに長手方向において前後に区分けする足入れ用開口部6によってスリッパ主体20を形成してなり、扁平な包装形態に形成された前記被覆シート部材3の外周縁部を、扁平状態でスリッパの前記甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される、単一な前記シート部材を扁平な筒状被覆形態に折り曲げた該両折り曲げ部によって前記表面側被覆シート部1側と底面側被覆シート部2側とに折り曲げて形成された折り曲げ輪郭形状部10,10と、該折り曲げ輪郭形状部10,10を除く該被覆シート部材3の外周縁部をスリッパ輪郭形状に沿うように熱接着して形成した熱接着輪郭形状部11とで形成し、前記足入れ用開口部6の横巾方向の両端部6a,6aを前記甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される前記折り曲げ輪郭形状部10,10の後端部の近くに位置するように形成したことを特徴とし、前記被覆シート部材3内の表面側被覆シート部1と底面側被覆シート部2の間に前記熱接着輪郭形状部11より小さな外形をもちほぼ足裏の大きさに形成された厚ボール紙などの板状の底部補強部材30を該底部補強部材30の外周縁部を前記熱接着輪郭形状部10,10から遊離させた非接着状態に包装して構成したものである。スリッパ輪郭形状の表面側被覆シート部1と底面側被覆シート部2をもつ扁平な包装形態の前記被覆シート部材3は、熱可塑性の不織布など熱溶着可能な素材からなる略矩形のシート部材を該シート部材の対向する一方の両側端部をこの両側端部が互いに接合されるように扁平状態でスリッパの甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される該両側縁部4a,4aの延長線L1に沿ってそれぞれ折り曲げ、折り曲げられた各折り曲げ片の接合部を熱接着8することによって扁平な筒状被覆体を形成し、この扁平な筒状被覆体の両折り曲げ部のうち前記甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能させる範囲の折り曲げ輪郭形状部10,10と該折り曲げ輪郭形状部10を除いてスリッパの輪郭形状に沿うように熱接着された熱接着輪郭形状部11とでスリッパ輪郭形状を形成し、このスリッパ輪郭形状を形成する熱接着輪郭形状部11の外側のシート部分を取り除くべく切断することによって構成される。ここで提供された簡易スリッパは、甲被覆部4を含む扁平な包装形態の被覆シート部材3から成るスリッパ主体20と板状の底部補強部材30とを別体とし、扁平な包装形態の被覆シート部材3から成るスリッパ主体20内に板状の底部補強部材30を非接着な状態に包装して構成したものであり、更に、前記被覆シート部材3の外周縁部を、扁平状態でスリッパの前記甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される、単一な前記シート部材を扁平な筒状被覆形態に折り曲げた該両折り曲げ部によって前記表面側被覆シート部1側と底面側被覆シート部2側とに折り曲げて形成された折り曲げ輪郭形状部10,10と、該折り曲げ輪郭形状部を除く該被覆シート部材3の外周縁部をスリッパ輪郭形状に沿うように接着して形成した接着輪郭形状部11とで形成し、前記足入れ用開口部6の横巾方向の両端部6a,6aを前記甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される前記折り曲げ輪郭形状部10,10の後端部の近くに位置するように形成したことによって、特に、歩行による上下方向の圧力集中が顕著である甲被覆部4の両側縁部の後端側と底面部との境目を剥離しないように強化させたものである。なお、前記筒状被覆体を形成するに際して、各折り曲げ片の重ね合わせた接合部を熱接着したものを図示してあるが、図面のように重ね合わせずに各折り曲げ片の突き合わされた端部を互いに接合させ、この接合された突合せ端部を熱接着することによって接着することもできる。また、前記被覆シート部材3を形成するシート部材として熱可塑性素材を用いているが、この熱可塑性素材から成るシート部材には、シート部材全体を熱可塑性素材で形成したものの他、例えば、紙やレーヨン不織布から成る素材に熱可塑性樹脂などの熱可塑性素材層をコーティングしたものも含むものであり、これは後述する図5から図13に示した実施形態における被覆シート部材も同様である。

なお、図8及び図9に示した実施形態では、前記表面側被覆シート部1に前記足入れ用開口部6を形成すると共にこの足入れ用開口部6の形成位置より踵側にスリッパ長手方向と直交する第2開口部7を形成し、前記足入れ用開口部6と前記第2開口部7の間に在る表面側被覆シート部1を図示する如く底部補強シート部材30の下側に位置するように底部補強シート部材30を前記被覆シート部材3内の表面側被覆シート部1と底面側被覆シート部2の間に包装いている。前記足入れ用開口部6の他に前記第2開口部7を形成した場合、前記被覆シート部材3内に後から手作業で前記底部補強部材20を挿入する操作が容易である。

図11から図13に示した扁平型簡易スリッパは、熱可塑性の不織布など熱溶着可能な熱可塑性素材からなるシート部材によってスリッパ輪郭形状の表面側被覆シート部1と底面側被覆シート部2をもつ扁平な包装形態に形成された被覆シート部材3と、この被覆シート部材3の前記表面側被覆シート部1に形成され、該表面側被覆シート部1を甲被覆部4と踵被踏部5とに区分けする足入れ用開口部6によってスリッパ主体20を形成してなり、前記被覆シート部材3の外周縁部を、扁平状態でスリッパの前記甲被覆部(4)の両側縁部(4a,4a)として機能される、前記シート部材を扁平な筒状被覆形態に折り曲げた該両折り曲げ部によって前記表面側被覆シート部1側と底面側被覆シート部2側とに折り曲げて形成された折り曲げ輪郭形状部10,10と、該折り曲げ輪郭形状部を除く外周縁部をスリッパ輪郭形状に沿うように熱接着して形成した熱接着輪郭形状部11とで形成し、前記足入れ用開口部6の両端部6a,6aを前記甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される前記折り曲げ輪郭形状部10,10の後端部の近くに位置するように形成し、更に、前記スリッパ主体20の前記被覆シート部材3内の表面側被覆シート部1と底面側被覆シート部2の間に、足裏巾とほぼ同じ横巾L2に形成された熱可塑性の不織布など熱溶着可能な熱可塑性素材からなるやや厚目のシート厚をもつ板状の底部補強部材30を、該底部補強部材の横巾方向の外周縁部を少なくとも前記甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aから該両側縁部4a,4aを立ち上げるための所定の立ち上げ遊び巾L3,L3を与えられる位置に配設すると共に、この底部補強部材30の爪先側と踵側に位置する長手方向の外周縁部を前記熱接着輪郭形状部11で前記表面側被覆シート部1と底面側被覆シート部2の間に挟まれて熱接着された接着状態に包装して構成したものである。前記折り曲げ輪郭形状部10,10を除く外周縁部をスリッパ輪郭形状に沿うように接着して熱接着輪郭形状部11を形成する接着手段は、ヒートシールによる接着、好ましくは超音波接着による接着方法によって行なわれる。
スリッパ輪郭形状の表面側被覆シート部1と底面側被覆シート部2をもつ扁平な包装形態の前記被覆シート部材3は、図1乃至図4の実施形態と同様に、熱可塑性の不織布など熱溶着可能な素材からなる略矩形のシート部材を該シート部材の対向する一方の両側端部をこの両側端部が互いに接合されるように扁平状態でスリッパの甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される該両側縁部4a,4aの延長線L1に沿ってそれぞれ折り曲げ、折り曲げられた各折り曲げ片の接合部を熱接着8することによって扁平な筒状被覆体を形成し、この扁平な筒状被覆体の両折り曲げ部のうち前記甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能させる範囲の折り曲げ輪郭形状部10,10と該折り曲げ輪郭形状部10を除いてスリッパの輪郭形状に沿うように熱接着された熱接着輪郭形状部11とでスリッパ輪郭形状を形成し、このスリッパ輪郭形状を形成する熱接着輪郭形状部11の外側のシート部分を取り除くべく切断することによって構成される。
ここで提供された簡易スリッパは、前記被覆シート部材3の外周縁部を、扁平状態でスリッパの前記甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される、単一な前記シート部材を扁平な筒状被覆形態に折り曲げた該両折り曲げ部によって前記表面側被覆シート部1側と底面側被覆シート部2側とに折り曲げて形成された折り曲げ輪郭形状部10,10と、該折り曲げ輪郭形状部を除く該被覆シート部材3の外周縁部をスリッパ輪郭形状に沿うように熱接着して形成した熱接着輪郭形状部11とで形成し、前記足入れ用開口部6の横巾方向の両端部6a,6aを前記甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される前記折り曲げ輪郭形状部10,10の後端部の近くに位置するように形成したことによって、特に、歩行による上下方向の圧力集中が顕著である甲被覆部の両側縁部の後端側と底面部との境目を剥離しないように強化させたものである。また、ここで提供された簡易スリッパは、連続的かつ高速的に機械製造するのに適している。

シート長手方向の中央部に扁平状態でスリッパの甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される該両側縁部4a,4aの平行な延長線L1,L1で囲まれた表面側被覆シート部形成範囲41と、この表面側被覆シート部形成範囲41の両側部に各端部が互いに接合される所定巾を与えられた底面側被覆シート部形成範囲42,42とに画成された所定のシート巾に形成された熱可塑性の不織布などからなる長尺のシート部材40であり、該シート部材40の前記表面側被覆シート部形成範囲41に、前記表面側被覆シート部形成範囲41をシート長手方向に沿ってスリッパ単位を構成する甲被覆部4と踵被踏部5とにシート長手方向において前後に区分けする足入れ用開口部6を該足入れ用開口部6の横巾方向の両端部6a,6aを前記表面側被覆シート部形成範囲41の側縁位置の近くに位置するようにスリッパ形成単位ごと所定の間隔をおいて順次形成する図11(a)に概略を示す足入れ用開口部形成工程と、
この足入れ用開口部形成工程で足入れ用開口部6を順次形成されたシート部材40の前記表面側被覆シート部形成範囲41内にほぼ足裏の大きさに形成された厚ボール紙などの板状の底部補強部材30を該底部補強部材30が甲被覆部4と踵被踏部5とに区分けする足入れ用開口部6の形成位置に対応されるように重ね合わせる底部補強部材重ね合わせ工程と、
前記足入れ用開口部形成工程で足入れ用開口部6を順次形成され、且つ前記底部補強部材重ね合わせ工程で前記表面側被覆シート部形成範囲41内に重ね合わせた底部補強部材30を前記シート部材40で包装すべくシート部材40を扁平状態でスリッパの甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される該両側縁部4a,4aの平行な延長線L1に沿ってシート部材40の長手方向の両側端部を各両側端部が互いに接合されるようにそれぞれ折り曲げて足入れ用開口部を形成した表面側被覆シート部1と各折り曲げ片から成る底面側被覆シート部2とを形成する折り曲げ工程と、
この折り曲げ工程で前記底部補強部材30を包装した状態に折り曲げられた各折り曲げ片の接合部を熱接着8することによって表面側被覆シート部1と底面側被覆シート2部をもつ扁平な筒状被覆体を形成する図11(b)に概略を示す筒状被覆体形成工程と、前記折り曲げ工程の後で前記筒状被覆体形成工程の前後あるいは同時に表面側被覆シート部1に形成されている前記足入れ用開口部6の両端部6a,6aが前記甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される折り曲げ部の後端部の近くに位置するようにして前記甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される折り曲げ部を除く表面側被覆シート部1と底面側被覆シート部2とを前記底部補強部材30の外周縁部から遊離させた所定のスリッパ輪郭形状に沿うように熱接着する図11(c)に概略を示す熱接着輪郭形状部形成工程と、この熱接着輪郭形状部形成工程で熱接着された熱接着輪郭形状部11の外側に在るシート部材40を取り除くべく切断するカット工程によって、連続的かつ高速的に偏平型簡易スリッパを製造することができる。

なお、板状の底部補強部材30を包装してないスリッパ主体20のみからなる簡易スリッパを製造する場合は、前記の工程から底部補強部材重ね合わせ工程を省略することによって達成できる。

また、ほぼ足裏の大きさに形成された板状の底部補強部材30をシート部材40に重ね合わせるようにした前記底部補強部材重ね合わせ工程に代えて、図15(a)(b)(c)に製造工程の概略を示すように、足裏巾とほぼ同じ横巾L2に形成された熱可塑性素材からなる板状の長尺な底部補強用シート部材31を用い、この底部補強用シート部材31を前記シート部材40の前記表面側被覆シート部形成範囲41内で該底部補強用シート部材31の両側縁部をスリッパの甲被覆部4の両側縁部4a,4aとして機能される該両側縁部の平行な延長線L1,L1から該両側縁部4a,4aを立ち上げるための所定の立ち上げ遊び巾L3,L3を与えて前記シート部材40の長手方向に沿わして重ね合わせるようにした底部補強用シート部材重ね合わせ工程を設け、後工程の熱接着輪郭形状部形成工程でシート部材40の表面側被覆シート部1と底面側被覆シート部2の間に挟まれて熱接着された底部補強用シート部材31の爪先側と踵側に位置する長手方向の両端部を、シート部材40と一緒に次工程のカット工程で熱接着輪郭形状部11の外側に在る部分を取り除くべく切断することによって、製造することができる。前記熱接着輪郭形状部形成工程における接着手段は、超音波接着による接着方法が好ましい。なお、図15における、その他の製造工程の説明は、図14と同様である。この製法では、歩行による上下方向の圧力集中が顕著であるスリッパの甲被覆部の両側縁部の後端側と底面部との境目を剥離しないように強化した簡易スリッパを、より連続的かつ高速的に機械製造することができる。

【発明の効果】
本発明(請求項2の)に係る扁平型簡易スリッパは、甲被覆部を含む扁平な包装形態の被覆シート部材から成るスリッパ主体と板状の底部補強部材とを別体とし、扁平な包装形態の被覆シート部材から成るスリッパ主体内に板状の底部補強部材を非接着な状態に包装することによって、素材が異なり接着が困難な甲被覆部材と底板部材を接着せずに構成したものであり、強固な接着が困難とされている甲被覆部材と底板部材として機能する板状の底部補強部材を接着せずに簡易スリッパを形成したことにより、底板部材として機能する板状の底部補強部材の素材や厚さの選定が容易であり、例えば表面に凹凸部を形成した底板部材の採用も可能である。
また、本発明(請求項2の)に係る扁平型簡易スリッパは、スリッパ主体に対して底板部材として機能する板状の底部補強部材のみ交換できる。
また、本発明(請求項1の)に係る扁平型簡易スリッパは、底板部材として機能する板状の底部補強部材を包装してない被覆シート部材から成るスリッパ主体のみを、通常のビニール製やフェルト製のスリッパ内に挿入して使用するスリッパ用インソールとしても用いることができる。

また、本発明の係る扁平型簡易スリッパの製法によれば、甲被覆部の両側部、特に歩行によって、甲を覆う部分と足で押圧される底部側とを互いに引き離す力が強く作用される甲被覆部の開口側縁部と足で押圧される底部側との境目が剥離されにくい新規な簡易スリッパを連続的かつ高速的に製造することができる。
