本発明は衣類を洗浄するに際し、特にひどい汚れを洗浄するのに好適な、他の洗剤組成物と組み合わせて用いる為の液体ビルダー剤に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来からアルカリ剤、キレート剤といった「ビルダ−」は、洗浄力向上剤として洗剤組成物中においては必要不可欠な成分である。しかしながら、多くのビルダ−を液体洗剤中に配合すると、組成物中の界面活性剤との塩析効果により、分離、析出しやい欠点を有する。
従って、使用上好適な均一低粘度のビルダー含有液体洗剤組成物を得るのは困難である。更にアルカリを配合した場合、組成物が強アルカリ性となる為、酵素の配合は安定性の点より不可能である。

そこで、液安定性を高める為、界面活性剤のHLBを下げて溶解性を高めたり、高洗浄力を求められる業務用洗浄においては洗浄剤、ビルダ−剤を分割投入すること(特開昭58−74800号公報)が知られている。
また液体ビルダ−剤に関しては、特願平5−354676号公報に、ピロリン酸カリウムおよび珪酸カリウムを主成分とする組成物が例示されているが、このものは長時間使用していると洗浄機にピロリン酸カルシウム由来のスケールが付着するという、新たな欠点が指摘された。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、界面活性剤を主成分とする液体洗剤と共に併用することにより、優れた洗浄力を発揮し、液性が良好で、且つ、長期間使用しても洗浄機に対するスケール付着を生じない液体ビルダ−剤組成物を提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
そこで本発明者らは鋭意研究した結果、アミノカルボン酸塩と珪酸塩を特定割合で配合することにより、かかる課題を解消することを見いだし本発明に至った。
即ち、本発明の液体ビルダー組成物は、下記の成分を含有し、(A)成分と(B)成分の合計が組成物中の重量で20〜50%の範囲であり、水に溶解していることを特徴とする。
(A)アミノカルボン塩:15〜30重量%。
(B)珪酸塩:5〜30重量%。

【発明の実施態様】
本発明において(A)成分として用いるアミノカルボン酸塩は、ニトリロ三酢酸およびエチレンジアミン四酢酸のアルカリ金属塩が好ましく、対イオンとしては、ナトリウムおよびカリウム塩が好ましい。
本発明におけるアミノカルボン酸塩の含有量は15〜30重量%、好ましくは15〜25重量%の範囲である。アミノカルボン酸塩の含有量が15重量%未満では所望の洗浄力が得られず、30重量%を超えると配合時に塩析等により、液分離や沈殿を生じ好ましくない。

本発明において(B)成分として用いる珪酸塩は、一般にM2 O・nSiO2 で表され、その代表例は珪酸ナトリウム又は珪酸カリウムである。
本発明において用いられるSiO2/M2Oの比は、モル比として0.5〜3.5、好ましくは1〜3の範囲である。
SiO2/M2Oのモル比が0.5未満では被洗物がアルカリ焼けを生じ好ましくなく、3.5を超えると所望の洗浄力が得られず好ましくない。所定のモル比を得るには市販されている珪酸塩を用いることもできるが、実際の配合時において、例えばJIS1号珪酸ナトリウムを用い、更に水酸化ナトリウムを加える事により所定のモル比に調整することも可能である。

本発明における珪酸塩の含有量は15〜30重量%の範囲である。

また、本発明の液体ビルダー組成物は、上記(A)および(B)成分を合計量で20〜50重量%、好ましくは30〜40重量%配合する。
この合計量が20重量%未満では十分な洗浄力が得られず、50重量%を超えると配合時に液分離が生じ好ましくない。

本発明の組成物は、前記必須成分の他に、必要に応じ、高級脂肪酸塩、再汚染防止剤例えばポリエチレングリコール、カルボキシメチルセルロース等や、粘度低下剤例えばエタノール、イソプロピレングルコール等の低級アルコール類、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ヘキシレングリコール等のグリコール類、尿素、ベンゼンスルホン酸塩、トルエンスルホン酸塩類、キシレンスルホン酸塩、安息香酸塩など、さらには、蛍光剤、香料、色素なども配合することができる。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、アミノカルボン塩および珪酸塩、必要に応じてアルカリ成分や他の任意成分を水に溶解して液体ビルダー組成物とすることにより、液安定性に優れ、長期使用においても洗浄機に悪影響を与えることもなく、しかも、界面活性剤を主成分とする洗浄剤組成物と併用することにより、優れた洗浄力を得ることが可能となる。

本発明の組成物は、特に業務用ランドリー洗浄用の液体ビルダーとして有用であり、界面活性剤を主成分とする洗浄剤組成物とともに用いられ、例えば、定量ポンプを用いて、別々に所定量、洗浄機に投入されるものである。

次に実施例によって、本発明をさらに詳細に説明するが、本発明はこれらの実施例によって限定されるものではない。
尚、実施例に先立ち、試験法を以下に示す。

(1)洗浄力の試験法
(i)汚染布
汚染布としては、下記に示すEMPA社製人工汚垢布を用い、これを5cm×5cmに裁断して用いた。
商品名:EMPA101(オリ−ブ油・カ−ボン/綿布)

(ii)洗浄条件
洗浄装置はアサヒ製作所製の10kgドラム型ワッシャ−を使用し洗浄を行った。50℃、5分洗浄した後排水、すすぎを行った。被洗物は前述の汚染布それぞれ10枚をTシャツに縫いつけたものを1枚と、洗浄シ−ツの合計を10kgとし、使用水は7゜DHの硬水を用いた。
洗浄は、後記表1に示した液体洗浄剤組成物150gと後記実施例および比較例に示した液体ビルダー剤組成物150gをそれぞれ洗浄機へ分割投入することにより行った。
(iii)洗浄力測定
洗浄力は得られた洗浄布の反射率を測定し、下記の数1の式より算出した。

液体ビルダー組成物を配合調製したときの液外観を目視評価した。

(3)スケール付着性
実施例に示す処方で、オープンワッシャーで洗浄処理を行った。被洗物はホテルで使用したシーツ100kgを用いた。60℃で15分間洗浄を行った後、排水し、40℃の水で3分間すすぎを行う。すすぎを2回行い、被洗物を取り除く。これを1サイクルとして50回繰り返し洗浄処理を行った後、ワッシャーのバスケット外側へのスケール付着を目視により判定する。
試験に供した液体洗浄剤組成物を表1に示す。

実施例5の配合組成に準拠して、実施例8はNa2O ・1SiO2 の替りにNa2O・1.5SiO2を用い、比較例7はNTA・3Naの代わりにピロリン酸カリウムを用い、かつ、珪酸塩としてK2O・1.5SiO2を用いた場合のスケール付着試験を行った結果、実施例はスケールの付着は認められず、比較例は白色のスケール付着が多く認められた。[0001]
