【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an absorbent article that is provided with a back sheet having multi-color printing and moisture permeability, and has a cloth-like appearance and feel.
[0002]
[Prior art and problems to be solved by the invention]
In an absorbent article such as a disposable diaper, a composite sheet obtained by laminating a film having moisture permeability and a nonwoven fabric is used as a back sheet in order to prevent stuffiness during wearing and to improve the texture and the touch. In addition, in order to improve the appearance and appeal to consumers, a pattern such as letters and figures may be printed on the back sheet. For example, consumer acceptance can be improved by applying multicolor printing to the backsheet.
[0003]
The printing may be performed on the front or back surface of the nonwoven fabric or on the laminated surface of the film. Nonwoven fabrics are aggregates of fibers and have uneven surfaces, so that high quality printing such as multicolor printing is difficult. On the other hand, the film has excellent surface properties and is suitable for high quality printing. For this reason, it is common to perform multicolor printing on the laminated surface with the nonwoven fabric in a film. However, in that case, since the printing surface is covered with the nonwoven fabric, the sharpness of the printing touched by the consumer is lower than before being covered with the nonwoven fabric. If the diaper has a blurred appearance as a result of the decrease in the sharpness of the printing, the acceptability to the consumer decreases instead. In order to maintain the clearness of printing even after being covered with a nonwoven fabric, the thickness and basis weight of the nonwoven fabric must be reduced, and as a result, the texture and feel of the diaper will be insufficient.
[0004]
International Publication WO99 / 60973 discloses a disposable diaper that uses a back sheet that is made of a laminated sheet of a film having moisture permeability and a non-woven fabric, and on which the multi-color printing is applied to the laminated surface of the film with the non-woven fabric. ing. 【Example】
In the following examples, “%” means “% by weight” unless otherwise specified.
[0042]
[Examples 1 and 2 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2]
(1) Manufacture of moisture permeable film Linear low density polyethylene [UZ2520F (trade name) manufactured by Mitsui Chemicals, Inc.] 37%, calcium carbonate [Escalon # 2000 (trade name) manufactured by Sankyo Flour Milling Co., Ltd.] 58% , 4% of ester composition [EXEPEARL TM20-AS (trade name) manufactured by Kao Corporation] and 1% of stearic acid [Lunac S-40 (trade name) manufactured by Kao Corporation] The mixture was kneaded with a machine to produce pellets. The obtained pellets were supplied to an inflation molding machine to mold an inflation sheet. Using a roll stretching machine, this inflation sheet was stretched under conditions of a stretching temperature of 50 ° C. and a stretching ratio of 2.3 times to obtain a porous moisture-permeable film. The basis weight of this moisture permeable film was 20 g / m 2 and the moisture permeability was 1.8 g / (100 cm 2 · hr). 1 was printed on one surface of the obtained moisture-permeable film by flexographic printing. As described above, the
[0043]
(2) Fabrication of the nonwoven fabric The core-sheath type composite fiber whose core is made of polyethylene terephthalate and whose sheath is made of polyethylene is used as a raw material, and the first
[0044]
(3) Production of laminated sheet (back sheet) A laminated sheet was produced using the moisture permeable film obtained in (1) above and the two nonwoven fabrics obtained in (2) above. The total basis weight of the two nonwoven fabrics is as shown in Table 1. For joining the members, a hot-melt adhesive using a styrene / butadiene / styrene block copolymer as a base polymer was used, and this was intermittently applied between the members. The coating basis weight between the members was 5 g / m 2 . In addition, the embossing process was not performed after lamination | stacking. The total basis weight and total thickness of the two nonwoven fabrics before lamination were as shown in Table 1. The light transmittance of the two nonwoven fabrics before lamination was as shown in Table 1.
[0045]
(4) Manufacture of pants-type diapers Using the laminated sheet obtained in (3) above as a back sheet, and the other members commonly used for diapers, the pants-type disposable diapers shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 are used. Manufactured.
[0046]
(5) Performance evaluation About the obtained diaper, the clearness of the pattern printed by the following method, and the texture and touch of the diaper were evaluated. The results are shown in Table 1.
[0047]
[Vividness of printed pattern]
Sensory evaluation was performed by visual observation of five evaluators. The case where it was felt that the pattern was sufficiently clear as a diaper was evaluated as 〜 to ◎, and the case where it was felt as insufficient was evaluated as △ to ×.
[0048]
[Diaper texture and feel]
Sensory evaluation was performed on the feel when five evaluators touched the diaper surface with bare hands. When it was felt that it had a sufficient texture and touch as a diaper, it was evaluated as 〜 to 応 じ depending on the degree, and △ to × when it was insufficient.
[0049]
[Table 1]
[0050]
As is clear from the results shown in Table 1, the L * value and C * value of the moisture permeable film in the portion where the pattern is printed are in a specific range, and the light transmittance of the nonwoven fabric is in a specific range. It can be seen that the diaper of each example satisfies both the sharpness of the printed pattern and the texture and feel of the diaper, as compared to the diaper of the comparative example. In the moisture permeable film used in each example, the area ratios related to the L * value and the C * value in the portion where the pattern was printed were both 70% or more.
[0051]
【The invention's effect】
The absorbent article of the present invention satisfies both the sharpness of the multicolor printed pattern and the texture and feel of the absorbent article.
