Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mechanism for preventing erroneous operation of an apparatus for attaching and detaching various electronic elements such as a battery.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Electronic devices such as computers and word processors are miniaturized, handheld, and often used outdoors. In addition, it is necessary to save data stored in a volatile memory such as a RAM. Today, many handy electronic devices are equipped with a mechanism for mounting a battery. In word processors and printers, memory cards and emulation cartridges that store various character fonts are replaced and used. Therefore, these devices are also equipped with a mechanism for attaching and detaching a memory card and a cartridge.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the above apparatus, it is important to know whether or not a battery or a memory card is attached. For example, when a battery is used to drive the apparatus, removing the battery means stopping the power supply to the apparatus. If an incorrect operation is performed, data is lost and the program is damaged. In the case of a memory card, there is a risk of losing font data in the card.
[0004]
Therefore, it is most important to prevent erroneous operations in the device that drives the device by mounting the battery or memory card as described above.
The present invention provides an erroneous operation prevention mechanism that confirms attachment / detachment of an electronic element such as a battery by providing an erroneous operation prevention mechanism, performs power-on to the device and protects data, and prevents the battery etc. from being attached / detached by mistake. Is.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, in the mechanism for preventing an erroneous operation provided in the mounting portion of the electronic member, the lid member that opens and closes the mounting portion, the rotary lock release lever provided in the lid member, and the electronic member A switch that informs the control circuit whether or not the device is mounted on the mounting portion, a drive unit that operates the switch, and a lock unit that prohibits the drive unit from operating the switch, and the lid member includes In the closed state, the lock means comes into contact with the tip of the lock release lever, the lock means is released as the lock release lever rotates, and the drive means can operate the switch. This can be achieved by providing a mechanism for preventing erroneous operation.
[0006]
With this configuration, when attaching and detaching the electronic member to the mounting portion, while closing the cover member, the lock release lever state unless the driving means is unlocked hands stage by rotating the operation switch The control circuit can recognize the attachment / detachment of the electronic member based on the switch operation. Therefore, when mounting the electronic member, the control circuit can recognize the mounting of the electronic member by operating the switch by the driving means after mounting the electronic member and securely closing the lid member, At the time of taking out, since the control circuit can recognize in advance that the electronic member is taken out by operating the switch by the driving means before opening the lid member, the electronic member can be reliably attached and detached without any erroneous operation .
[0013]
The electronic member is a battery, for example, or a memory card, for example.
[0014]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment to which the present invention is applied will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an erroneous operation preventing mechanism for explaining an embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes an apparatus main body, for example, an apparatus (handy terminal) main body such as a portable radio device or a laptop personal computer which is battery-driven. However, only the configuration in the vicinity of the battery mounting portion is shown, and the configuration shown in FIG. 2 is a front view when the lid is closed, FIG. 3 is a plan view, and FIG. 4 is a side view.
[0015]
The erroneous operation preventing mechanism of this embodiment includes a lid member 3 that is a first mechanism, a shutter 4 that is a lock unit, a switch drive plate 5 that is a second mechanism, and a switch 6 that is a detection unit. The lid member 3 functions as a lid that covers the portion of the battery insertion portion 2 described above. When the lid member 3 is closed, the lid member 3 has a handle (not shown) and closes in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in FIG. In addition, a rotation type unlocking member 7 is disposed at substantially the center of the lid member 3. The unlocking member 7 is provided with a locking portion 7a, and the tip of the locking portion 7a is moved to the shutter 4 by rotating the unlocking member 7 in the directions of the arrows {circle around (2)} and {circle around (2)} around the shaft 7b. It is the structure which contacts.
[0016]
The shutter 4 is configured to be rotatable about the shaft 4a in the directions of arrows (3) and (3), and a key-shaped lock portion 4b is formed at the tip thereof. The tip of the locking portion 7a of the unlocking member 7 is in contact with the locking portion 4b. For example, when the locking portion 7a is rotated in the arrow (2) direction, the shutter 4 is moved to the arrow (3). This is a configuration in which the shutter 4 is unlocked by rotating in the direction.
[0017]
The switch drive plate 5 is provided with a lock pin 5a and a switch drive lever 5b. The switch drive plate 5 has a rotation shaft at a position (not shown) and is rotatable in the directions of arrows (4) and (4). . When the shutter 4 is in the lock position, the switch drive plate 5 cannot be operated (movable) in the direction of the arrow (4) because the lock portion 4b of the shutter 4 contacts the lock pin 5a.
[0018]
When the switch drive plate 5 can be operated (when the lock is released), it can be driven in the directions of the arrows (4) and (4), and the drive portion 5b 'at the tip of the switch drive lever 5b is the knob of the switch 6. 6 'is driven in the direction of the arrow.
[0019]
The operation of the erroneous operation prevention mechanism having the above configuration will be described below.
Hereinafter, the case where the battery is attached and the case where the battery is taken out will be described separately. First, a case where a battery is mounted will be described. In this case, however, the lid member 3 is first opened as shown in FIG. 1, and the switch drive plate 5 is also in the state shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 1, this state is a state in which the lock pin 5a of the switch drive plate 5 is in contact with the lock portion 4b of the shutter 4 and cannot be operated.
[0020]
First, a battery is attached to the apparatus main body from the battery insertion portion 2. Next, the lid member 3 is rotated in the direction of arrow (1) to close the battery insertion portion 2. Thereafter, when the lock release member 7 is rotated in the direction of the arrow (2), the locking portion 7a comes into contact with the lock portion 4b of the shutter 4, and the shutter 4 is rotated in the direction of the arrow (3) to unlock.
[0021]
Next, when the switch drive plate 5 is operated in the direction of the arrow (4), the lock of the shutter 4 is released. Therefore, the lock pin 5a does not contact the lock portion 4b, and the switch drive plate 5 is moved in the direction of the arrow (4). To turn on the switch 6 and output an ON signal to a control circuit (not shown). The control circuit knows that the battery is attached to the apparatus by this ON signal.
[0022]
By operating as described above, the battery is mounted on the apparatus main body, and an ON signal of the switch 6 is always output after the battery is mounted, and the control circuit can know the mounting of the battery by this operation signal.
[0023]
Therefore, for example, even if the switch drive plate 5 is operated without closing the lid member 3, the switch drive plate 5 cannot be operated in the direction of the arrow (4). That is, even if the switch drive plate 5 is operated, the lock pin 5a contacts the lock portion 4b and cannot be operated in the direction of the arrow (4).
Therefore, unless the lid member 3 is closed, the switch drive plate 5 cannot be operated, the switch 6 does not output an ON signal after all, and the apparatus does not operate.
[0024]
Even if the lid member 3 is closed without mounting the battery and the switch drive plate 5 is operated, the switch 6 is turned on. However, since no power is supplied from the battery to the switch 6, the apparatus does not operate in this case.
[0025]
Next, an operation for removing the battery attached to the apparatus will be described. In this case, first, the switch drive plate 5 is pulled in the direction of the arrow (4) and the switch 6 is turned off. By this processing, an off signal is output from the switch 6 to the control circuit, and the control circuit knows that the battery will be removed thereafter. Therefore, the control circuit can safely hold the data when the battery is taken out by this signal. For example, when an off signal is input, the control circuit saves data and programs stored in the RAM or the like and prepares for the case where the battery is removed. In such a process, after the off signal is output from the switch 6, there is a certain period of time until the battery is actually pulled out. During this time, the control circuit can sufficiently perform the data maintenance process.
[0026]
Therefore, after that, even when the lid member 3 is opened and the battery is removed, the data is safely held by the above processing, and the data is not lost and the program is not damaged.
[0027]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, when a battery, a memory card or the like is attached to the apparatus, it can be attached only after the lock is released, so that erroneous operation can be reliably avoided.
[0028]
In addition, when a battery, a memory card, or the like is taken out from the apparatus, data can be safely saved because the removal process is known in advance.
