本発明は各種音響機器のスピーカシステムに用いられるパッシブラジエータに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来の技術を図8〜図10により説明する。まず、同図8はケルトン方式と称されるスピーカシステムの側断面図であり、エンクロージャーA内に配置されたドライバーBと外部に面したパッシブラジエータCから構成され、ドライバーBによりパッシブラジエータCを駆動させて重低音を増強再生するものである。図9はこのパッシブラジエータCの側面図であり、図10はこのパッシブラジエータCの概念を示す構造側断面図である。

同図により、パッシブラジエータCの構成について説明する。1はフレームであり、上端周縁1bには周縁部である振動板2のエッジ部3を接着結合するとともに、この振動板2の内周縁部はボビン4に接着結合している。また、ボビン4の中間部は上記フレーム1の底面内周部1aに接着結合されたダンパー5にクランプ支持されている。6はボビン4の上端に結合されたウェイトであり、7は上記振動板2の上面中心部に接着されたダストキャップである。なお、1cは上記フレーム1の底面全周から下方に突出し、ダンパー5を保護する下端部である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら従来のこの種のパッシブラジエータは、部品点数が多いため部品材料費が多くかかり、生産工数も多くかかってしまうため、なかなか低コスト化を図ることができなかった。

また、振動系の質量について、かなり重いものを要求されるものがあり、この対応としてウェイト6を重く設計すると、ウェイト6がボビン4からはずれてしまったり、これが原因でダストキャップ7が振動板2からはずれてしまったり、振動系の振幅が大きくなることによりボビン4とダンパー5が接着はずれを発生してしまう可能性があった。

本発明はこのような従来の問題点を解消し、部品点数及び生産工数を削減し、低コスト化を図るパッシブラジエータを提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明のパッシブラジエータは、底面中央に開口部を有するフレームと、周縁部が上記フレームの開口部に装着されたダンパーと、上記フレームの上端に周端部が結合された振動板と、上記ダンパーの略中央にこのダンパーと上記振動板に挟持されたウェイトとで構成したものである。

上記のように、ウェイトを振動板とダンパーで挟持する構成としたので、ボビンを削除するとともに、極めて容易に組立てが行える、ウェイトと振動板とダンパーの一体化により品質の向上も図れるものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の請求項1に記載の発明は、底面中央に開口部を有するフレームと、周縁部が上記フレームの開口部に装着されたダンパーと、上記フレームの上端に周端部が結合された振動板と、上記ダンパーの略中央にこのダンパーと上記振動板に挟持されたウェイトとで構成したので、部品点数の削減と、極めて簡単な組立てで品質の安定したものを提供可能とするものである。

請求項2に記載の発明は、請求項1の振動板の略中央にダストキャップを一体に設けた構成としたため、部品点数の削減と組立工数の削減を図れるものである。

図1は本発明のパッシブラジエータの一実施の形態の側断面図である。同図によると、11は底面に開口部11aを有するフレームであり、15はこの開口部11aに周縁部を接着結合してなるダンパーであり、中央にはウェイト16を載置するための平坦部15aを有している。

なお、本実施の形態においてはダストキャップ部12aを振動板12に一体に設けたが、外観上問題がなければダストキャップ部12aを特に設けず、振動板12自体とダンパー15とでウェイト16を挟持しても良いものである。

図2は本発明のパッシブラジエータの他の実施の形態の側断面図であり、同図によると15cはダンパー15bに、16bはウェイト16aに、12dは振動板12bのダストキャップ部12cに夫々設けられた貫通孔であり、貫通孔12dは貫通孔15c、貫通孔16bに夫々対応して設けられている。

17はリベットであり、上記貫通孔12d,15c,16bに挿入され、かしめられて振動板12b、ウェイト16a、ダンパー15bを機械的に結合するものであり、実施の形態1における接着剤による結合より結合の強度を向上し、信頼性の向上を図るものである。

なお、本実施の形態においては、振動板12b、ウェイト16a、ダンパー15bの結合手段としてリベット17を用いたが、ボルト、ナット、割りピン等によって行うことも可能である。

本実施の形態は図1の実施の形態1の更なる改良を施したものであり、図3は本実施の形態に至る課題を説明するためのパッシブラジエータ製作途中の側断面図、図4は同組立時の状態を説明するためのパッシブラジエータの側断面図、図5は本一実施の形態の側断面図である。

図3、図4により実施の形態1の組立てについて説明すると、先ず図3に示すようにフレーム11にダンパー15を結合する。

次にダンパー15の上にウェイト16を接着結合する。ところがウェイト16の重量が重いために、ダンパー15の上にウェイト16を乗せるとダンパー15がウェイト16の重量により図3のように下方に下がる形状に変形してしまい次工程に移れなかった。そのため図4に示すようにフレーム11とダンパー15の下に組立専用治具18を用いて生産する必要があった。

図5は上記の課題をも解決するものであり、実施の形態1のパッシブラジエータとの相違点のみ説明すると、15eはダンパー15dの下端の略中央に下方に突出して設けられた突起部であり、フレーム11の下端にあるダンパー保護部11bと略同一の高さ面となるように設定されている。

以上の構成によって、平板上に置いた時、ウェイト16の重量によって変形することはないので、組立時パッシブラジエータの口径等に合せて準備されていた組立専用治具18を不要として、この組立専用治具18の作製コストや管理コストの低減、組立作業の容易化を図るものである。

図6は実施の形態3と同様の効果を有する他の実施の形態の側断面図であり、実施の形態1との相違点のみ説明すると、15fはダンパーであり、16cはウェイトであり、下方にはダンパー15fの孔部15gから突出する突起部16dを有しており、この突起部16dはフレーム11の下端にあるダンパー保護部11bと略同一の高さになるように設定してある。

以上の構成によって、組立時パッシブラジエータの口径等に合せて準備していた実施の形態3で述べた組立専用治具18(図4参照)を不要として、この組立専用治具18の作製コストや管理コストの低減、組立作業の容易化を図るとともに、一般的に硬度の高いウェイト16cに突起部16dを設けたものであるため、直接的な外力に対して損傷することはなく、取扱いを容易とするものである。

図7は実施の形態3と同様の効果を有する他の実施の形態の側断面図であり、実施の形態2との相違点のみ説明すると、17aはリベットであり、フレーム11の下端のダンパー保護部11bと略同一高さの脚部17bを設けたものである。

即ち、結合手段であるリベット17aによって、振動板12b、ウェイト16a、ダンパー15bは物理的に強固に結合できるとともに、その結合手段の脚部17bによって、組立時パッシブラジエータの底部口径等に合せて準備していた組立専用治具を不要として、この組立専用治具の作製コストや管理コストの低減、組立作業の容易化を図り、且つ、直接的な外力に対しても損傷することのない極めて有用なパッシブラジエータとして提供できるものである。

以上のように本発明のパッシブラジエータは、ウェイトを振動板とダンパーで挟持する構成としたので、部品点数の削減を図れるとともに、組立てが容易に行え、ウェイトと振動板とダンパーの一体化の品質の向上も図れるものである。
