【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the sealing backup material of the present invention, the core material made of an elastic body having a substantially U-shaped cross section with the back surface opened, and both side ends that are elastically deformable on the surface side of the core material Projecting from both sides of the core material, sealing material provided so that the width is within the range from the minimum width of the joint to the maximum width, and protruding from both side ends of the core material to both sides respectively. A blade-shaped first fixing member that is provided so that its width is larger than the maximum width of the joint, and elastically deforms in the joint, and the vicinity of the middle of the surface of the core and both end portions And a blade-like second fixing member that protrudes on both sides from each other, has a width equal to that of the first fixing member, and elastically deforms in the joint and contacts the sealing material. Each elastically deforms corresponding to the width of the joint, and the inner surface of the joint Pressing stably fix the sealing backup material in the joint with. As a result, even when the joint width varies, the sealing backup material can be stably stored in the joint, so that a sealing margin can be ensured without causing a gap or the like.
Further, according to the present invention, the second fixing member is elastically deformed toward the sealing blank side in the joint and contacts with both side ends of the sealing blank to form a sealing margin. Even when it is wider than the substitute material, the sealing allowance can be secured without causing a gap or the like.
Further, according to the present invention, the sealing backup material is stably fixed in the joint by the fixing members in contact with the inner surface of the joint at a plurality of locations.
Further, according to the present invention, since the core member is an elastic body having a substantially U-shaped cross-section with an open back side, both side ends of the core member can be elastically tilted inward, and a sealing backup material It becomes easy to press-fit to the joint, and the workability is improved.
[ 0031 ]
Further, according to the present invention, the fixing member protrudes obliquely toward the surface side of the sealing backup material, and is easily elastically deformed to the surface side of the sealing backup material, and is difficult to elastically deform to the back surface side. Therefore, when the sealing back-up material is press-fitted, the sealing margin is formed stably in the joint regardless of the skill level of the operator.
