【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態の例では一方の板材1が側板1aで他方の板材2が背板2aであり、側板1aと背板2aとを連結して箱を組み立てるものについて述べる。これらを連結するとき用いる目地部材Aはゴムや合成樹脂等の弾性のある材料にて次のように構成されている。

目地部材Aの主体は縦片3と縦片3に交差する横片4とで断面略イ字状に形成されている。この横片4の両側が夫々先端程厚さが薄くなる第1弾接シール片5及び第2弾接シール片6となっている。縦片3の横片4と反対側の端部から第1弾接シール片5と平行になるように係止片7を突設してあり、第1弾接シール片5と縦片3と係止片7とで囲まれるように嵌合溝8を形成してある。この嵌合溝8の幅は一方の板材1である側板1aの厚さより広くなっている。第2弾接片6の縦片3近傍の付け根部分から外面側に向けて突部9を突設してある。この突部9は第1弾接シール片5が突出する方向と相反する方向に突出するように設けてあり、突部9の突出する長さは第2弾接シール片6が突出する長さよりやや短い。

【発明の効果】
本発明は叙述の如く第1弾接シール片と一方の板材の内面との間に隙間を設けた状態で嵌合溝を一方の板材の端部に嵌合しておき、第2弾接シール片の基部から外面側に突設させた突部を他方の板材の内面に当接させた状態で縦片を変形させて第1弾接シール片を一方の板材の内面に弾接させるようにしたので、一方の板材の厚さより幅の広い嵌合溝を一方の板材の端部に嵌合しても、他方の板材を縦片を介して一方の板材に当接して締結したとき、第2弾接シール片が他方の板材の内面に弾接すると共に突部が他方の板材で押されて縦片が変形して第1弾接シール片が一方の板材の内面に弾接されるものであって、一方の板材の端部に目地部材を容易に嵌合できて組み立て作業に手間取ることがないと共に第1弾接シール片や第2弾接シール片を強く弾接させて確実にシールできるものである。
