Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cover faucet whose main body is covered with a cover.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a cover faucet having a water outlet exposed outside the cover has been used. For example, as shown in FIG. 4A, a cover faucet (hereinafter referred to as “conventional example 1”) in which the water discharge port T is exposed from the insertion portion 24 provided in the cover 20 is used. In this cover faucet, a flange portion (in this example, the flange portion at the middle portion of the water discharge port T is illustrated) F and an external member (in this example, the water discharge port) disposed outside the cover 20 are disposed in the cover 20. The cover 20 is clamped with C). Thereby, “backlash” of the water discharge port T is prevented, and foreign matter such as dust can be prevented from entering the cover 20 through the gap between the insertion portion 24 and the water discharge port T.
[0003]
Further, in the case of a cover faucet or the like in which the protruding direction of the water discharge port does not coincide with the attaching / detaching direction of the cover, the cover may be divided around the insertion portion in order to facilitate attachment / detachment of the cover (hereinafter, “ Conventional example 2 ”). For example, in the specific example shown in FIG. 4C, the cover 20 is divided into a main cover 2 </ b> A that forms a main part and a sub-cover 2 </ b> B that complements the cover 20 before and after the insertion part 24. Then, a “relief 27” is provided behind the insertion portion 24 formed in the main cover 2A, so that the main cover 2A can be attached and removed in the front-rear direction, and the “relief 27” is attached by the sub-cover 2B attached and removed in the vertical direction. Is being blocked.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the cover faucets shown in Conventional Example 1 and Conventional Example 2 have the following problems.
That is, in the conventional example 1, the external member C is generally structured to be screwed and fixed, but it is difficult to always set the tightening amount to an appropriate amount. For this reason, the tightening amount becomes excessive, and unnecessary stress is generated on the cover 20, causing the appearance of the cover 20 to be deteriorated or damaged, or the tightening amount is insufficient to cause “backlash” at the spout T. There is. In particular, when a dimensional error or misalignment occurs in the external member C, the flange portion F, the cover 20 or the like, unnecessary “deflection” or the like occurs in the cover 20 as shown in FIG. Inconveniences such as deterioration of the appearance of the cover 20 occur.
[0005]
Moreover, in the prior art 2, since it is not the structure which fixes the spout T to the cover 20, there exists a possibility that "backlash" may arise in the spout T. Furthermore, since it is necessary to produce both with sufficient accuracy so that the main cover 2A and the sub cover 2B are accurately joined, the manufacturing cost of the cover faucet increases.
Further, when the cover faucet of the conventional example 2 is of a type that allows a gap between the insertion portion 24 and the water outlet T as in the specific example illustrated in FIG. There is a risk that foreign matter may enter the cover 20. Further, even in a type that does not allow this gap, an unplanned gap may occur due to an error in the dimensions of the main cover 2A or the sub cover 2B. On the other hand, in order to prevent this problem, it is conceivable that a flange portion F is provided in the cover 20 as in Conventional Example 1, and the cover 20 is sandwiched between the flange portion F and the external member C. In addition, it is difficult to always make the amount of tightening of the external member C an appropriate amount.
[0006]
If the water outlet is fixed to a stay (bracket) for fixing the main body as in the cover faucet exemplified in JP-A-10-1987, it is possible to avoid generating unnecessary stress on the cover. However, in this aspect as well, similarly to Conventional Example 1 and Conventional Example 2, if the gap between the cover insertion portion and the water outlet is not concealed, foreign matter will enter the cover.
[0007]
Each of the present inventions has been made in view of such a situation, and the object of the present invention is to first cover the insertion portion of the cover and to discharge water to the outside of the cover. It is an object of the present invention to provide a cover faucet capable of firmly assembling a base forming a path to a cover and not causing unnecessary stress on the cover.
Next, the invention of claim 2 is to more reliably prevent unnecessary stress from being generated in the cover in the cover faucet of the invention of claim 1.
[0008]
As for the invention of claim 3, in the invention of claim 1 or claim 2, the dimensional accuracy of the main body, the cover, etc. and the variation in the positional relationship thereof are surely absorbed, and the invention of claim 1 or 2 The object of the present invention is to be achieved more reliably.
Further, the invention of claim 1 is to be standardized and facilitation of the cover of the attachment and detachment of the components of the cover faucet.
Finally, the invention of claim 4 is to reduce the number of components of the cover faucet in the invention of any one of claims 1 to 3 .
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the measures taken by the inventions are as follows.
“A cover faucet whose body is covered with a cover, and a base that forms a water discharge channel to the outside of the cover is connected to the main body from outside the cover through an insertion portion provided in the cover, It is a cover faucet that presses the cover with the exposed part to the direction,
A cover faucet having a main body portion in which the main body incorporates a valve device, and a connection portion fixed to the main body portion and forming a connection portion of the base ,
The body is attached to a wall;
The cover has a substantially container shape with an over-bulged portion, and the insertion portion is drilled in the bottom surface of the over-bulged portion,
The cover should be supported and fixed at both ends on the back side and the bottom surface of the over-bulged portion.
Is the gist.
[0010]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the base can be firmly assembled to the cover while concealing the insertion portion by pressing the exposed portion against the cover. That is, since only one surface side (surface side) of the cover is pressed, unnecessary stress is hardly generated on the cover.
Further, in the present invention, after attaching the cover to the main body, the “base” as the “member for forming the water discharge flow path” is connected to the main body, so that the exposure direction of the “base” and the attaching / detaching direction of the cover coincide with each other. Even if not, as shown in the conventional example 2, the cover can be divided, or as shown in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-1987, “a member that forms a water discharge channel (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-1987, It is not necessary to make the water outlet) rotatable. However, the present invention can also be suitably applied to a cover faucet provided with a split type cover. In this aspect, since the insertion portion can be concealed by the exposed portion of the base, an effect is obtained that the dimensional accuracy of the joint portion of the divided cover (main cover, sub cover, etc.) can be roughened.
[0011]
Next, regarding the invention of claim 2,
"In the cover faucet of claim 1, the base is connected to the main body by hand tightening"
Is the gist.
In the invention of claim 2, since the base is connected to the main body by hand tightening without using a tool, it is possible to more reliably prevent unnecessary stress from being generated in the cover.
[0012]
Further, regarding the invention of claim 3,
“Cover faucet according to claim 1 or claim 2, wherein a clearance for connection adjustment is provided between the main body and the base”
Is the gist.
According to the invention of claim 3, even if there are variations in dimensional accuracy and positional relationship among the components such as the base, the main body, and the cover, these can be reliably absorbed by the “clearance”, so that unnecessary stress is generated in the cover. Can be prevented more reliably.
[0013]
Furthermore, regarding the invention of claim 1 ,
"Before Symbol body portion incorporating a valve device body is secured to the body portion, it has to have a connection portion forming a connecting portion of the ferrule"
Is the gist.
In the invention of claim 1 , the main body is divided into a main body portion that constitutes a main portion thereof and a connection portion that is involved in connection with the base. Accordingly, by appropriately selecting the attachment location of the connection portion, the size of the connection portion to be attached, and the like, the same main body portion can be covered with various types of cover faucets (for example, cover water with a spout protruding from the bottom side). It can be used universally as a common part of a stopper or a cover faucet having a water discharge port protruding from the upper surface side.
[0014]
Moreover, according to this invention, after attaching a connection part in the state which ensured sufficient water-tightness to the main-body part, a main body is coat | covered with a cover and a nozzle | cap | die can be connected to a connection part .
[0015]
Finally, regarding the invention of claim 4 ,
"The cover faucet according to any one of claims 1 to 3 , wherein the base forms a spout."
Is the gist.
The invention of claim 4 shows a specific example of the “cap”, and according to the present invention, since there is no need to separately connect the “spout” to the cap, the number of components of the cover faucet is small. Become.
[0016]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, embodiments of the cover faucet according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the cover faucet includes a main body 10, a cover 20, and a base 30.
Among these, the main body 10 shows a specific example of the invention of claim 1 , and is attached to a wall surface Y of a bathroom or the like using a bent plate-like stay 50. Further, the main body 10 is a connection that forms a connection portion between a main body portion 11 having a built-in temperature control valve A and a switching valve B, each showing a specific example of the “valve device” of the first aspect of the invention, and a base 30 described later. Part 12.
[0017]
The temperature control valve A mixes hot water from the hot water supply pipe H and water from the water supply pipe C at a predetermined mixing ratio to obtain mixed hot water having a desired temperature. In this example, as the temperature control valve A, “a temperature sensing element that deforms in response to a temperature change such as a wax element or a shape memory alloy element is used, and the mixing degree of hot water and water is automatically set. "Adjusting thermostat cartridge" is used. However, as the temperature control valve A, other systems such as a sliding disk system and a two-handle system may be used.
[0018]
The mixed hot water flowing out from the temperature control valve A flows into the switching valve B through the supply path K provided in the main body 11.
This switching valve B selectively switches the mixed hot water supplied from the supply channel K to “the side of the curran side connection port 1a on the lower surface of the main body 11” or “the side of the shower side connection port 1b on the side of the main body 11”. Spill out, adjust the spillage and stop water at the same time. In addition, the method of the switching valve B can also be selected in various ways, for example, “sliding disk method configured by using a fixed disk and a movable disk that slide on each other to open and close the flow path”, “a pair of opposed disks `` Lift system for switching the flow path and adjusting the flow rate by advancing and retracting the valve body with respect to the valve port '', `` having a movable valve body and a fixed valve body that are each formed in a cylindrical shape and inserted into each other, For example, a “rotary system in which the flow paths are opened and closed by sliding relative to each other” can be exemplified.
[0019]
Further, in this example, since there are two water discharge passages provided in the cover faucet, “a water discharge passage on the curran side” and “a water discharge passage on the shower side”, a three-way valve is used as the switching valve B. However, when there are three or more water discharge channels, a four-way or more multi-way valve can be used. Furthermore, the switching valve B may not perform simultaneous water stop.
Connecting portion 12, which shows a specific example of the "connecting portion" of the invention of claim 1, as shown in FIG. 3, a cap nut portion 1c, integrally extending from the cap nut portion 1c And a cylindrical portion 1d. And the external thread part 1e is provided in the intermediate | middle side peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 1d, and the packing P is mounted | worn with the surrounding groove of the front end side peripheral surface.
[0020]
As shown in FIG. 3, the connection portion 12 is attached to the main body portion 11 by screwing a cap nut portion 1 c with a male screw portion 1 f on the peripheral surface of the currant side connection port 1 a. At the time of this attachment, since the packing 1h is interposed and the cap nut 1c is firmly tightened using a tool (such as a spanner), the watertightness between the connecting portion 12 and the curran side connecting port 1a is sure. Secured. In addition, the tightening operation of the cap nut portion 1c can be easily performed because it may be performed on the main body portion 11 before the cover 20 is covered.
[0021]
Unlike this example, the cap nut portion 1c can be excluded from the connection portion 12 and can be attached to the main body portion 11 using a separate fastening member (cap nut or the like). Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the main body 11 of the present example includes a connection port 1k in an unused state in addition to the currant connection port 1a, and a cap 1m is attached to the connection port 1k in a watertight manner. Has been. That is, since this example is a cover faucet that discharges water from the bottom side of the cover 20, a connection port on the bottom side (curan side connection port 1 a) is used. In the case where the upper surface is changed to one that performs water discharge, the upper surface side connection port 1k may be used. Moreover, when making it right-and-left wrong, the connection port 1k can be made into the lower side and this can also be made into a currant side connection port. Thus, according to the invention of claim 4, if the main body part 11 and the connection part 12 are separated, the same main body part 11 can be used as a common part for a plurality of types of cover faucets.
[0022]
Moreover, in the invention of claim 1 , the attachment method of the main body part 11 and the connection part 12 is not particularly limited. For example, the male and female of each screw part of the currant side connection port 1a and the connection part 12 shown in this example are reversed. Or a socket fitted on one side and a plug provided on the other side in a watertight manner.
Furthermore, in this example, as shown in FIG. 1, one end of a shower pipe Q constituting the upstream side of the “shower-side water discharge passage” is connected to the shower-side connection port 1b, and a joint J is connected to the other end. Has been.
[0023]
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the cover 20 has a substantially container shape having an over-bulged portion 21 on the upper half of the front surface. The over-bulged portion 21 has through holes 2a and 2b on the left and right sides of the front surface, and an insertion portion (insertion hole) 24 showing a specific example of the “insertion portion” of the present invention on the bottom surface. ing. Further, the left end on the back side is a bent and elastic leaf spring portion 2c, and a passage hole 26 is provided on the right end on the back side.
The cover 20 aligns the spindle D of the temperature control valve A and the left passage hole 2a, and tilts downward with the spindle d of the switching valve B and the right insertion hole 2b aligned. As it moves, it is attached to the body 10. In that case, since it is in the state before connecting the nozzle | cap | die 30 mentioned later to the connection part 12, the protrusion part which becomes the hindrance to the downward movement of the cover 20 does not exist in the main body 10 side.
[0024]
When the cover 20 is attached, as shown in FIG. 1, the leaf spring portion 2 c is locked to the bent portion 51 at the left end of the stay 50, and the joint J is fixed to the bent portion 52 at the right end of the stay 50. The insertion hole 53 is inserted into the passage hole 26 at the right end of the back side of the cover 20. And while connecting the base end of the shower elbow E to the joint J, the right end of the back side of the cover 20 and the bent part 52 are clamped by the joint J and the shower elbow E. As described above, the reason why the present invention is not applied to the shower-side water discharge flow path is that the shower is swung in use, and thus stress such as twisting and pulling is applied to the shower elbow E. Therefore, the shower elbow E is firmly fixed so that it can sufficiently withstand these stresses. However, when a large force is not applied to the shower elbow E, the present invention may be applied to the shower-side water discharge channel as well as the “calant-side water discharge channel” described later. This is particularly effective when the shower-side water discharge channel is exposed on the front side of the cover 20.
[0025]
The base 30 is a specific example of the “base” of the invention of claims 1 to 4 , and has a substantially cylindrical shape with an outer diameter that can be loosely inserted into the insertion portion 24 as shown in FIG. 3. The non-exposed portion 31 and the exposed portion 32 composed of the “flange portion 3A having a larger diameter than the insertion portion 24” and the small-diameter portion 3B are provided. Moreover, the internal thread part 3a is provided in the root side inner wall face of the non-exposed part 31, and the external thread part 3b is provided in the front end side outer wall face of the small diameter part 3B. Further, a slip stopper such as a knurl R is provided on the peripheral surface of the flange portion 3A.
[0026]
As shown in FIG. 3, the base 30 is connected to the connection portion 12 through the insertion portion 24 from the outside of the cover 20. According to the invention of claim 2, this operation is performed by tightening the cap 30 by the operator's hand, whereby the female screw portion 3a of the non-exposed portion 31 is connected to the connection portion 12 as shown in FIG. The flange portion 3A comes into contact with the surface around the insertion portion 24 of the cover 20 by being screwed into the male screw portion 1e. At that time, since the flange portion 3A is pinched by hand and the base 30 is manually tightened, the operator can tighten the base 30 by hand, whether or not the flange portion 3A is in contact with the cover 20, The degree etc. can be recognized accurately. Note that the base 30 side may be a male side and the connecting portion 12 side may be a female side, and may be screwed together.
[0027]
Further, this tightening operation is not performed at once using a tool but is gradually performed manually, so that it is easy to control the pressing force applied to the cover 20 from the flange portion 3A. For example, when the operator gradually tightens the base 30 and recognizes by hand that the flange portion 3A is in contact with the cover 20, if this operation is completed, the flange portion 3A is moved to the cover 20. Almost no unnecessary external force is applied. However, in the invention of claim 1 and the inventions of claims 3 to 4 , the base 30 may be tightened with a tool. Even in this case, since the flange portion 3A is only in contact with the surface around the insertion portion 24 of the cover 20, an excessive stress is generated in the cover 20 as in the conventional product that sandwiches the periphery of the insertion portion 24. There is no.
[0028]
By the connection of the base 30, the cover 20 is supported and fixed at the three points of both ends on the back side and the bottom surface of the over-bulged portion 21, and the base 30 is also firmly fixed to the cover 20.
Moreover, in this example, when this nozzle | cap | die 30 is connected, as shown in FIG. 2, the clearance gap W is provided between the back end part 3p of the non-exposure part 31, and the front end surface 1p of the connection part 12. As shown in FIG. This shows a specific example of the invention of claim 3, and the female side member of the base 30 (non-exposed portion 31) and the connecting portion 12 (tubular portion 1d) which are screwed into each other is shown. By preventing the contact, for example, by setting the dimension to be slightly “short”, a “connection adjusting clearance (ie, gap W)” is formed between the two.
[0029]
Furthermore, in this example, since the connecting portion 12 is set to be “shorter”, even when the cover 20 is slightly moved up and down when the cover 20 is attached and detached, the cover 20 and the connecting portion 12 are difficult to contact. 20 can be easily attached and detached.
In this example, when the base 30 is connected, as shown in FIG. 2, the watertightness between the base 30 and the cylindrical portion 1d is secured by the packing P attached in advance to the cylindrical portion 1d. That is, since the sealing work from the outside of the cover 20 is not performed at all, the connection work of the base 30 is further facilitated.
[0030]
In addition, in this example, as shown in FIG. 2, although the mode which makes the exposed part 32 contact | abut on the flat surface part (bottom surface of the over-bulged part 21) of the cover 20 is illustrated, Claim 1 thru | or 4 is demonstrated. The invention can be suitably applied to a curved surface portion of the cover 20 (for example, a surface portion indicated by a symbol G in FIG. 1). That is, it is substantially difficult to sandwich the curved surface portion between the flange portion F and the external member C according to the conventional example 1, but the exposed portion 32 is applied according to the first to fourth aspects. This is because it is easy to make contact and attach the base 30 to the cover 20. Therefore, according to the first to fourth aspects, since the base 30 (water discharge pipe, shower elbow, etc.) can be exposed from the “curved surface portion of the cover 20”, the design and function of the cover faucet The degree of freedom of selection becomes larger.
[0031]
As shown in FIG. 2, a spout cap 60 is attached to the male screw portion 3 b of the base 30 connected to the main body 10 with a packing 65 and a rectifying net 66 interposed therebetween. Thus, in the present example, “the base 30 that forms the water discharge channel to the outside of the cover 20” itself forms the water discharge port according to the invention of claim 4 . However, in the inventions of claims 1 to 3 , a separate “parts constituting a water discharge port (water discharge pipe, etc.)” or a “water discharge port” is connected to the end of the base 30 on the exposed portion 32 side. A component (shower elbow, etc.) interposed between the components (shower head, etc.) constituting the
[0032]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the cover faucet according to the first aspect of the invention can conceal the insertion portion, prevent the backlash of the base, and does not cause unnecessary stress on the cover. In the cover faucet according to the second aspect of the present invention, it is possible to more reliably prevent unnecessary stress from being generated in the cover. Furthermore, in the cover faucet of the invention of claim 3, it is possible to reliably absorb variations in dimensional accuracy and positional relationship between the main body and the cover. Furthermore, according to the first aspect of the present invention, it is possible to make the component parts of the cover faucet common and facilitate the attaching / detaching operation of the cover. In the cover faucet of the invention of claim 4 , the number of components can be reduced.
