Description

【0001】

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to a surface broach for forming a surface of a work material.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A conventional surface broach has a flat surface with a second blade and is formed by holding and fixing the work piece.
Further, a device has been devised in which the cutting blade is twisted to improve the cutting performance.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since the work will bite into the cutting edge for cutting, if the work is not held or fixed, it will be in an unstable cutting state, and the specified dimensional accuracy and surface roughness can be obtained. There wasn't. In addition, since the workpiece is unstable, abnormal wear such as chipping is likely to occur on the cutting edge, and there is a problem not only in machining accuracy but also in tool life. Furthermore, in order to improve the machinability, it was already impossible to cope with the case where the cutting blade was twisted. Furthermore, in such an unstable cutting state, there is a problem that not only a predetermined dimensional accuracy cannot be obtained but also an accident is caused.
Therefore, holding and fixing are indispensable for cutting, and the production cost of the holding tool is high. In addition, the holding man-hours are required, and automation is difficult, so there is a problem in the total processing time.
[0004]
[Object of the present invention]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a surface broach that can perform good processing without holding and fixing a workpiece.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention provides a surface broach for forming the surface of a workpiece, wherein a guide portion substantially parallel to the bottom surface is provided behind the second blade-attached surface of the cutting blade of the broach , and the guide portion is the second blade. A surface broach having the same height as the heel portion of the abutting surface and having a concave groove between the surface with the second blade and the guide portion .
[0006]
[Action]
By applying the present invention, it is possible to suppress the cutting edge from biting into the work piece, and to perform good machining without holding or fixing the work piece. I was able to get it. Further, the concave groove can easily and highly accurately process the surface with the second blade and the guide portion, and also serves as a retention of cutting oil during cutting, and a better cutting state is obtained. Furthermore, it goes without saying that the cutting performance can be improved by having the twist of the cutting edge.
Examples will be described below.
[0007]
【Example】
1 and 2 are surface broaches according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 1 is a side view, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of a cutting edge portion. The surface with the second blade has a slope toward the rear, and the height of the heel portion and the guide portion is set to the same height as the bottom surface of the tool, and the concave groove is formed between the surface with the second blade and the guide portion. There is something in between. FIG. 4 shows a processing method for a conventional product, and FIG. 5 shows a processing method for the product of the present invention. While the conventional product requires a holding tool, the product of the present invention bites more than the level difference between the cutting amount per blade and the gradient of the surface with the second blade by the guide part behind the surface with the second blade. Prevents the workpiece from being pressed and a stable cutting state is obtained.
[0008]
As a result, the workpiece is placed between the support surface of the jig and the broach, and the broach is slid to cut to a predetermined dimensional accuracy and surface roughness. Furthermore, the machined surface roughness of the workpiece has been dramatically improved by the burnishing effect of the guide portion.
Furthermore, automation has become easier, less setup work has been required, and the number of processes per hour has increased significantly.
[0009]
【effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to perform good processing without holding and fixing a work piece. In addition, since it is not necessary to hold and fix the work, it is possible to greatly reduce the cost of manufacturing the holding tool and the number of man-hours.
