この発明は、搬送用機械類、買い物用カートその他の運搬車などに使用される防塵カバー付キャスターに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種の防塵カバー付キャスターは、例えば図３に示したように、台座１１の下方に取り付けられた略倒Ｕ字形の把持部２に、円盤形状の防塵カバー３を備えた車輪４をボルト５およびナット６により回転自在に取り付けたものとしている。

前記防塵カバー３は、車輪４の左右両側にブッシュ７を介在させて装着し、中央に設けた穴３ａから車輪４の中央部の貫通穴４ａに固定されたボールベアリング（図示せず）の軸穴に、前記ボルト５の軸部５ａを貫通させ、このボルト５のねじ部５ｂにナット６を締め付けることにより、防塵カバー３をブッシュ７に押圧し両者を固着している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来の防塵カバー付キャスターでは、前記防塵カバー３とブッシュ７とは、両者間に働く摩擦力により固着されているだけであるので、何らかのはずみで車輪４の回転に伴って防塵カバー３も回転する場合があり、この防塵カバー３の回転によって、糸くずや髪の毛その他の塵類が車軸であるボルト５の軸部５ａに絡みつき、車輪４の回転不良が生ずる場合があるという課題を有していた。

そこで、この発明は、上記従来の防塵カバー付キャスターが有する課題を解決するものであり、車輪４の回転に伴って防塵カバー３が回転することのないようにし、糸くずや髪の毛その他の塵類が車軸に絡みつかず、車輪４の回転に支障を来すことがないようにした防塵カバー付キャスター提供することを目的としてなされたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
そのため、この発明は、略倒Ｕ字形の把持部２に、円盤形状の防塵カバー３を備えた車輪４を回転自在に取り付けた防塵カバー付キャスターにおいて、前記防塵カバー３を車輪４の左右両側にブッシュ７を介在させて装着したものとすると共に、防塵カバー３の内側部に設けたギヤ１０ａとブッシュ７の外側部に設けたギヤ１０ｂとが噛み合うようにした噛み合いクラッチ方式の固着手段９により、防塵カバー３をブッシュ７に固着したものとしている。

そして、この防塵カバー３の内側とブッシュ７のフランジ部７ｂの外側に固着手段９を設けたものとし、防塵カバー３の穴３ａから車輪４の貫通穴４ａに固定されたボールベアリング８の軸穴８ａに、前記ボルト５の軸部５ａを貫通させ、このボルト５のねじ部５ｂにナット６を締め付けることにより、防塵カバー３をブッシュ７に固着したものとしている。

前記固着手段９は、図に示したように、防塵カバー３の内側に設けたボス部３ｂに形成したギヤ１０ａとブッシュ７のフランジ部７ｂの外側に設けたギヤ１０ｂとが噛み合うようにした噛み合いクラッチ方式にすれば、防塵カバー３とブッシュ７の位置合わせが簡単であると共に固着が完全なものとなる。また、図には示していないが、固着手段９は、防塵カバー３の内側に設けた凹部、凸部、または凹凸部と、これらに対応するブッシュ７の外側に設けた凹部、凸部、または凹凸部を嵌め合わせるようにしたものとしてもよい。
