BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a faucet attachment structure, and more particularly to an attachment structure for attaching a faucet with a spout provided with a cover that covers a faucet body to a vertical attachment surface such as a wall surface.
[0002]
[Prior art and problems to be solved by the invention]
Conventionally, in a faucet with a spout provided with a case covering the faucet body, when attaching the faucet body to a vertical mounting surface, typically a wall surface, the case is placed on the wall surface while the faucet body is housed inside. It was made to contact and to fix a faucet body or a case to a wall surface with a fixing means.
[0003]
Thus, in the prior art, no special seal is applied between the case and the wall surface, or caulking is performed between the case and the wall surface along the outer periphery of the case, and a watertight seal is provided between the two. To be done.
[0004]
However, in the former case, for example, when a faucet is installed in the bathroom, splash water from the water spout and moisture in the bathroom enter the case through the wall surface, thereby causing dirt to enter the case. As a result, the dirty water eventually flows out from the inside of the case to the outside of the case, and the wall surface, floor surface, counter surface, etc. around the faucet become dirty.
[0005]
On the other hand, in the latter case, although the above-mentioned problems do not occur in particular, it is necessary to perform caulking work when installing the faucet, and this caulking work is troublesome work with poor workability. When caulking is applied, the appearance around the faucet is impaired, and when removing the case for maintenance, it is necessary to remove the caulk once. This causes a problem that the maintenance work is troublesome and time-consuming.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The faucet mounting structure of the present application has been devised to solve such a problem.
Thus, the faucet mounting structure of claim 1 is a faucet mounting structure for mounting a faucet with a spout provided with a case covering the faucet body to a vertical mounting surface such as a wall surface, , said fixed to the mounting surface, the faucet body in a state to be accommodated in the inside without a so that assembled detachably to the back plate of the case under the sealing by the sealing means, and said sealing means, said A fitting ridge or fitting groove formed continuously along the upper side and the left and right sides of the back plate, and the fitting formed continuously along the upper side and the left and right sides of the rear side of the case. It is characterized by comprising a fitting groove or fitting protrusion that fits into the protrusion or fitting groove.
[0007]
The faucet mounting structure according to claim 2 is formed in the form according to claim 1 , wherein the fitting protrusion or the fitting groove on the back plate side is substantially parallel to the attachment surface and extends outward. Further, the corresponding fitting groove or fitting protrusion on the case side is formed in an inward form corresponding to the fitting protrusion or fitting groove on the back plate side.
[0008]
Faucet mounting structure according to claim 3, in claim 2, wherein the vertical direction by a predetermined portion of the fitting projection, the locking projection for temporarily supporting a position lifted a predetermined distance than the final assembly position the casing On the other hand, the fitting groove in the case is provided with a locking recess for engaging the locking protrusion at the final assembly position and preventing the case from being removed in cooperation with the locking protrusion. It is characterized by.
[0009]
[Operation and effect of the invention]
As described above, the faucet mounting structure according to the first aspect is such that the back plate is fixed to a vertical mounting surface such as a wall surface, and the case covering the faucet body is detachably assembled to the back plate. In the case of this faucet mounting structure, the case is fixed to the mounting surface such as the wall surface via the back plate, so that water that has flowed down along the wall surface, such as splash water from the spout, enters the inside of the case. Is well prevented.
[0010]
Accordingly, it is possible to solve problems such as dirt accumulated in the case due to the ingress of water into the case, or the dirt oozes out to the outside of the case and impairs the beauty around the faucet.
In the faucet mounting structure according to claim 1, since the space between the back plate and the case is also tightly sealed, water can be effectively prevented from entering from the gap between the back plate and the case. .
[0011]
Further, according to the faucet mounting structure of the first aspect, since it is not necessary to perform caulking to seal the space between the case and the mounting surface in a watertight manner, the maintenance work of the faucet accompanied by the detachment of the case is easily performed. In addition, it is possible to avoid a decrease in aesthetics around the faucet mounting portion due to the caulking.
[0012]
Furthermore, according to this faucet attachment structure, different types of faucet bodies and covers can be attached to the attachment surface such as a wall surface using the back plate as a common part, and there is an advantage that various faucets can be selected.
[0013]
In the present invention, the packing is attached in advance along the outer peripheral portion of the back surface of the back plate, and when the back plate is fixed to the mounting surface, the packing is fixed by the fixing means in a state of contacting the mounting surface. Nasuno is not the desired.
If it does in this way, the clearance gap between a backplate and an attachment surface can be sealed watertight with the packing attached to the backplate back surface, and the penetration | invasion of the water in a case can be prevented further reliably.
[0014]
In the present invention , the sealing means between the back plate and the case includes a fitting protrusion or fitting groove formed continuously along the upper side and the left and right sides of the back plate, and the upper side on the rear side of the corresponding case. And it is comprised by the fitting groove | channel or the fitting protrusion continuously formed along the right-and-left both sides.
[0015]
In the water faucet mounting structure of this it is possible to configure the sealing means simply, the back plate and the case and their mating ridges, between the back plate and the case simply by fitting the fitting groove At the same time, it can be easily sealed in a watertight manner.
[0016]
In the present invention, the fitting protrusion or fitting groove on the back plate side is formed in a form extending substantially parallel to the mounting surface such as a wall surface and outward, and the corresponding fitting groove or fitting on the case side. The ridges can be formed in an inward configuration corresponding to the fitting ridges or fitting grooves on the back plate side (claim 2 ).
[0017]
In this case, the fitting protrusions and the fitting grooves formed on the back plate and the case are brought into a fitting state by sliding the case downward from the upper side relative to the back plate. The case can be easily attached to the mounting surface via the back plate, and the back plate and the case can be sealed in a watertight manner at the same time.
[0018]
Alternatively, the case can be easily separated from the back plate simply by sliding the case upward when removing the case.
Therefore, according to this mounting structure, the maintenance work of the faucet accompanied by the detachment of the case can be performed very easily.
[0019]
The water faucet mounting structure according to claim 3 is provided with a locking projection for temporarily supporting the case at a position raised by a certain distance from the final assembly position at a predetermined position in the vertical direction of the fitting protrusion, Is provided with a locking recess for engaging the locking protrusion at the final assembly position and preventing the case from being pulled upward in cooperation with the locking protrusion. When installed on a horizontal surface such as a floor surface or a counter surface, the lower end of the water supply or hot water supply pipe extending from the faucet body inside the case is exposed on the horizontal surface. The operation of connecting to the pipe end for water supply or hot water supply provided in the state can be easily performed.
[0020]
When the case is placed directly on the final assembly position, that is, on a horizontal surface such as a floor surface or a counter surface, the lower end portion of the supply pipe inside the case is connected to the end portions of the water supply pipe and the hot water supply pipe. However, in the case of the mounting structure according to claim 4, the case can be temporarily supported at a position raised by a certain distance from the floor surface or the like by the temporary support action of the locking projection. In this state, the lower end portion of the supply pipe inside the case can be easily connected to the pipe ends such as the water supply pipe and the hot water supply pipe.
Thus, by lowering the case to the final assembly position in that state, the water faucet can be brought into the final attachment state.
