本発明は、食器を自動的に洗浄、乾燥させて収納することができる食器洗浄装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来から、食器を自動的に洗浄、乾燥させて収納することができる食器洗浄装置は知られている。該食器洗浄装置は、開閉自在な蓋体を有してその内部に食器が収納される洗浄槽と、該洗浄槽内に供給される湯水で同食器を洗浄する洗浄手段と、該洗浄手段による洗浄行程の後に前記食器を乾燥させる乾燥手段と、該乾燥手段による乾燥行程へと至る以前に前記洗浄槽内の湯水を排水させる排水ポンプと、を備えている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来の技術においては、スタートスイッチがON操作されて洗浄、乾燥が実行されている途中で、排水ポンプは自動的に作動されるだけなので、同洗浄、乾燥が実行されていない際には、洗浄槽内から排水させることがでないものであった。

それ故、洗浄槽内に誤って入った水を排水除去することが困難で、該洗浄槽内を水洗いして清掃することもできず、又、同洗浄槽内に多量の水が溜まって溢れると水漏れのクレームにもなるという問題があった。特に、洗浄槽が上方に開口し、該洗浄槽が流し台のシンクの側方に隣接設置されて、同流し台のカンウターと前記開口とが略等しい高さとなる場合には、同洗浄槽内に水が入り込み易くて該水を排水除去し難く、しかも、同洗浄槽の上方開口付近やその周囲を水洗いして清掃することができない不都合を生じるという問題があった。

本発明は、上記従来の技術における問題を悉く解決するために発明されたもので、その課題は、洗浄、乾燥が行われていない際に、洗浄槽内に入り込んだ水を排水除去することができ、それ故に、該洗浄槽内を水洗いして簡単に清掃することができ、同洗浄槽から水が溢れる水漏れのクレームを防止することもできる食器洗浄装置を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の請求項1記載の食器洗浄装置は、開閉自在な蓋体を有してその内部に食器が収納される洗浄槽と、該洗浄槽内に供給される湯水で同食器を洗浄する洗浄手段と、該洗浄手段による洗浄行程の後に前記食器を乾燥させる乾燥手段と、該乾燥手段による乾燥行程へと至る以前に前記洗浄槽内の湯水を排水させる排水ポンプと、を備え、スタートスイッチがON操作されて蓋体が閉状態であるときに、前記洗浄行程と乾燥行程とが途中に排水ポンプの作動による排水を伴って自動的に実行されるようになした食器洗浄装置において、スタートスイッチがOFF状態であるときに、蓋体の開閉状態にかかわらず、排水ポンプを作動させて排水させる排水用スイッチと、同排水ポンプが作動状態であることを表示する排水表示部と、を設けてなる。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1〜4は、本発明の請求項1に対応する一実施形態を示し、該実施形態の食器洗浄装置は、開閉自在な蓋体1を有してその内部に食器が収納される洗浄槽2と、該洗浄槽2内に供給される湯水で同食器を洗浄する洗浄手段3と、該洗浄手段3による洗浄行程の後に前記食器を乾燥させる乾燥手段4と、該乾燥手段4による乾燥行程へと至る以前に前記洗浄槽2内の湯水を排水させる排水ポンプ5と、を備えてなる。この場合、スタートスイッチ6がON操作されて蓋体1が閉状態であるとき、前記洗浄行程と乾燥行程とが途中に排水ポンプ5の作動による排水を伴って自動的に実行されるようになっている。

図2に示す如く、流し台10はその下部を収納スペースとするキャビネットであり、該流し台10の上面となる部分にカウンター11が設置固定されている。カウンター11の片側にはシンク12が設けられ、該シンク12の後方に、着脱自在で取り外して使用することができるシャワーカラン13が設けられている。シャワーカラン13は直流吐出状態とシャワー噴出状態とを切り換えて使用することができるもので、使用された湯水はシンク12の排水口14から排水管15へと排水除去されるものであり、該排水管15は流し台10の下部スペース内に収容配管されている。

洗浄槽2はカウンター11の前記シンク12とは反対側に設けられ、該シンク12の開口と同洗浄槽2の開口とは略同じ高さで近接配置されている。又、洗浄槽2は流し台10の下部スペース内に邪魔にならないよう収容設置されており、その上方開口にはこれを開閉する折り畳み自在な蓋体1が付設されている。それ故、シンク12でシャワーカラン13を使用して食器にこびりついた汚れや残菜等を予め洗い流しておいて、同食器をその側方に隣接して位置する洗浄槽2内へとスムーズに収納することができる。しかも、蓋体1が閉状態である際には、シンク12の側方に隣接して位置する同蓋体1の上を調理スペースや仮置きスペースとして有効に利用することができる。

図1に示す如く、洗浄槽2内の中程には、収納される食器を最適な状態で保持する収納カゴ16が設けられている。又、洗浄槽2の側壁上部には、該洗浄槽2内に湯水を供給する給湯電磁弁17が設けられており、該給湯電磁弁17は給湯管18と接続されていて、該給湯管18の途中にはストレーナ19が介設されている。洗浄槽2内に所定の水位まで湯水が供給されると、通常水位センサ9の検知により給湯電磁弁17は閉じ、洗浄ポンプ3bが作動して回転するスプレーアーム3aから同湯水が噴出され、該噴出する湯水によって収納カゴ16に保持された食器は効果的に洗浄される。

その際、洗浄槽2の底部に設けられる残菜フィルタ20を通じて、洗浄ポンプ3bからスプレーアーム3aへと湯水は同洗浄槽2内を循環される。この場合、スプレーアーム3a及び洗浄ポンプ3bが洗浄手段3となるもので、該洗浄手段3による洗浄行程が終了すると排水ポンプ5が作動し、洗浄槽2内の湯水は残菜フィルタ20からトラップ21を介して排水ホース22へと流れ、該排水ホース22から前記排水管15に合流されて排水除去される。又、給湯や排水等の動作が正常に行われず、洗浄槽2内の湯水が所定の水位以上となった際には、これを異常水位センサ23が検知して、該異常状態であることが報知される。

洗浄槽2の下部にはシーズヒータ4aが設けられており、該シーズヒータ4aによって前記循環される湯水は加熱保温される。又、洗浄槽2内の湯水が排水除去された後に乾燥行程が行われ、該乾燥行程では前記シーズヒータ4aによって同洗浄槽2内の空気が加熱保温される。その際、洗浄槽2内には吸気ファン4bによって外気が導入され、これがシーズヒータ4aによって加熱された後、同洗浄槽2の上端部に設けられた排気ダクト24から排出される。この場合、洗浄槽2内を温風が回流することになり、収納カゴ16に保持された食器は効果的に乾燥される。該乾燥行程における乾燥手段4は、シーズヒータ4a及び吸気ファン4bであり、該吸気ファン4bにヒータを設けてこれから温風が吹き出されるようになしても良い。

図2に示す如く、洗浄槽2の手前で流し台10のカウンター11の下側には、各種スイッチが配置形成された操作パネル25が設けられている。操作パネル25は、図3に示す如く、上記スタートスイッチ6、排水用スイッチ7、排水表示部8の他に、電源入スイッチ26、電源切スイッチ27、電源表示部28、洗いコース設定スイッチ29、洗いコース表示部30、乾燥時間設定スイッチ31、乾燥時間表示部32等を有している。

次の操作として、乾燥時間設定スイッチ31を押して乾燥時間を選択設定することになるが、この場合も、乾燥時間設定スイッチ31を押す毎に、乾燥時間表示部32の20分、60分が交互に点灯され、該点灯された時間を選択設定することができる。又、両方共に無点灯となるパターンを選択することもでき、そうすると、乾燥行程は実行されなくなる。なお、前回の乾燥時間を変更しない場合には、前記乾燥時間設定スイッチ31を押す操作は不要である。最後に、スタートスイッチ6を押すことで、上述の如き、洗浄行程、乾燥行程が自動的に実行される。この場合、蓋体1の閉状態を検知するセンサが設けられていて、該センサが検知していない際には、前記洗浄行程、乾燥行程が実行されないようになっている。

なお、洗浄行程では、洗剤を使用する本洗浄の他、その後に複数回のすすぎ洗いが行われ、その途中で自動的に排水ポンプ5が作動して適宜に排水動作が実行されると共に、該洗浄行程の後で乾燥行程へと至る前にも同様に排水動作は実行される。又、排水用スイッチ7を押し操作した場合も、排水ポンプ5が作動して排水動作は実行される。この場合、電源プラグ(入)状態であれば、電源入スイッチ26のON・OFFの如何にかかわらず、電源表示部28が点灯していない際にも、排水動作は実行され、その際、排水表示部8が点灯する。

又、この場合には、排水用スイッチ7を一回(0.2秒以上の間)押すとON状態となって、排水ポンプ5が連続的に作動し、該排水用スイッチ7を再度押すとOFF状態となって、同排水ポンプ5は停止するものであるが、次のようになすこともできる。すなわち、排水用スイッチ7を一回(0.2秒〜1秒未満の間)押すとON状態となって、排水ポンプ5が連続的に2分間だけ作動して自動的にOFF状態となり停止するものであって、更に、このものにおいて、排水用スイッチ7を一回(1秒以上の間)押すとON状態となって、排水ポンプ5が連続的に15分間作動して自動的にOFF状態となり停止し、その途中で再度同排水用スイッチ7を押すとOFF状態となって停止するものとなすことができる。
