本発明は、各種産業廃棄物を焼却処理するためのロータリーキルン並びにストーカー炉及び2次燃焼室で構成された廃棄物焼却炉に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、廃プラスチック、油汚、汚泥等の産業廃棄物の焼却炉として、ロータリーキルン並びにストーカー炉及び2次燃焼室からなる廃棄物焼却炉が知られている(例えば、特公平4ー65289号参照)。図3は、前記廃棄物焼却炉の縦断面図で、廃棄物装入ホッパー1の廃棄物は、プッシャー2によりロータリーキルン3に装入される。

ロータリーキルン3では、炉内でのクリンカーの生成を抑制するために、抑制燃焼状態で燃焼させることより、CO及びH2を含む800〜850°Cの未燃ガス並びに炭素を主体とした800〜850°Cの残渣が発生し、未燃ガスは、ロータリーキルン出側3aとストーカー炉4の入側4aに配設された2次燃焼室5へ流入し、残渣はストーカー炉入側4aの火格子4b上に排出される。

本発明は、ロータリーキルンの出側にストーカー炉を並設し、ロータリーキルン排ガスとストーカー炉排ガスが2次燃焼室内で合流するごとく形成した廃棄物焼却炉において、ロータリーキルンとストーカー炉の接続部近傍に垂直方向の隔壁を配設したことを特徴とする廃棄物焼却炉である。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は、本発明によるロータリーキルン並びにストーカー炉及び2次燃焼室からなる焼却炉の縦断面図で、本発明が適用されるロータリーキルン並びにストーカー炉及び2次燃焼室からなる焼却炉は、前述の図3に示した従来の焼却炉と同一の構成であるから、その説明は重複するので省略する。本発明は、ロータリーキルン3の出側3a近傍にその軸方向に直角に隔壁7を配設する。

本発明の効果は次のとおりである。
