【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、例えば地下に埋設された上水道管に接続された消火栓が設けられた縦穴、または上記上水道管、下水道管、電力電話通信用配管もしくはガス配管を点検、補修するためのマンホール等の縦穴における上部に、地表に臨ませて配設され、必要に応じてバール(てこ棒)にて開くことが可能な開閉蓋に関する。

【従来の技術】
上述した開閉蓋として、従来から、長方形状をした開口を有する受枠と、その受枠の開口を塞ぐための蓋本体とを具備するものが知られている。かかる開閉蓋は、車両等が通る道路上に配設されることが多く、それ故に蓋本体に重量の重い鉄製のものが用いられており、その開閉にはバールが使用され、そのバール差込み孔は一般に蓋本体の長辺中央部または短辺中央部、またはこれらの両方に配設されている。また、開閉蓋が落とし込まれる受枠の開口における内側面と開閉蓋の外側面とは、互いに逆のテーパー状に形成されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】

該蓋本体の他方の長辺側と上記受枠の対応部分とを、該蓋本体の一方の長辺側を開閉可能として連結する連結手段とを具備し、上記バール差込み孔のそれぞれの両側に、上記蓋本体の背面側に突出したバール案内壁が、バール差込み孔に沿って、上記曲率中心付近に向かうバール差込み孔と同方向に形成されていることを特徴とする。
