【従来の技術】
病人や寝たきり老人などは排泄物の処理のためにおむつをしているが、横臥したままで自ら体位を変えることができないでいると、おむつに吸収された尿が背側の尾てい骨の上の仙骨周辺に接して蒸らし続け、かぶれや褥瘡いわゆる床ずれを発症しやすいこととなる。実公昭６１−３６２６４号公報は吸水層の片面に防水層を、他面に耐水性通水層を配して成る紙おむつにおいて、上記耐水性通水層の外面一部に防水シートを当てがい、該防水シートと防水層との縁を合着して、長手方向の一方の縁部に外面が防水シートと防水層とで囲まれたポケット部分を形成したことを特徴とする紙おむつを記載して、吸水層に吸水された尿などが漏れたり着用者の肌を濡らしたり汚したりしないようにすることを提案している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前記の紙おむつは使い捨てであるにかかわらず、ひとつひとつの紙おむつに防水層の加工を施すことを要して不経済であるほか、防水層が汗の吸収を妨げるという課題があり、さらには股部を伝って落ちる尿が防水層の上に流れ出て着用者の肌にふれて不快とし、褥瘡等を生じさせているという課題がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明はおむつカバーの上半の横長部の内面に、防水シートをおむつカバー側に，吸湿性および通気性に優れたパッドを表側にして重ねた積層体を上端のみを止点にして取付け、おむつカバーの内面に装着する尿取りパッド等のおむつ材の上半を前記の防水シートの上端を除く自由部分より該防水シートとおむつカバー間に挟入するようにして、おむつ材の上半を装着者の身体との間で防水シートにより隔離するようにしてかかる課題を解決し、以って快適な着用感をもたらすとともに褥瘡の生ずることを予防するようににしたのである。

【発明の実施の形態】
防水性を有すおむつカバー１の上半の横長部２ａの内側中間に防水シート３をおむつカバー１側に、吸湿性と通気性にすぐれたパッド４を表側にして重ねた積層体５を上端のみに止点６を設けて取付け、おむつカバー１の縦長部２ｂの内面に敷き当てする布製または尿取りパッド等のおむつ材７の上半を自由な防水シート３の下端から防水シート３とおむつカバー１の内面間に挟み止めするのである。１ａはおむつカバー１の上端の折返し縁である。

ベッドに横たわる病人など着用者の仙骨周辺に積層体５が位置するようにして上記構成のおむつカバーを当て締めすると、着用者の尿はおむつ材７内に吸収されるが、防水シート３の下の部分にまわり込んだ尿が着用者の重みなどでおむつ材７から滲み出ることが生じても、防水シート３によって遮られて肌を濡らしたり汚したりすることが生じないこととなる。また防水シート３の表側は吸湿性・通気性にすぐれたパッド４を重ねてあるので、着用者の汗も吸収されて乾燥した清潔な状態を保つことができて、快適な着用感をもってかぶれや褥瘡の発症を予防することができるということになる。またおむつ材７が汚れたときはおむつ材７だけをおむつカバー１より抜き外して新しいおむつ材７と交換するのである。

図３は積層体５の左右に部材の延長または別部材の取付けにて持ち手部５ａ．５ｂを設けた例を示すもので、寝たままの着用者におむつカバー１を装着するときや汚れたおむつ材７を交換する際に両手で持ち手部５ａ，５ｂを持って広げ伸ばすことができるようにして、装着や交換の際に生じた捻れや重なりなどを着用者の重さがかかったままでも容易に平らに伸ばしてゴロゴロする不快感などを解消できるようにしたのである。また積層体５の下端を押し潰し形のフィットライン５ｃにて形成すると、おむつ材７やおむつカバー１との間の段差が解消されるので肌当りを良好にすることができる。

また積層体５の中心下の部分に横臥した状態で最も低い位置となる尾てい骨あたりをさけるための半円形等をした切欠部５ｄを設けることにより、股部を伝わって低い位置の尾てい骨あたりから落ちる尿は切欠部５ｄに表出したおむつ材７の上にすべて流れ落ちて吸収されるので、積層体５の上に流れ落ちることを防止することができる。

図４は積層体５をおむつカバー１と別体にて用意した例で、積層体５の上端に両面テープ等の取付け片５ｅを設けるなどして使用する際におむつカバー１に取付けするのである。かくすることにより洗い替えすることのできるおむつカバーのほか市販や市町村等支給の普通の使い捨ておむつカバーやカバー兼用形の紙おむつなどにも積層体５を自由に取付け取外すことができ、使い捨ておむつカバーや紙おむつを交換するときにも数回に亘って使い回しすることもできるものとなる。なお積層体５には市販・支給の尿取りパッドを使用してもよい。

【発明の効果】
本発明は以上のようにして、装着したおむつ材の上部は積層体の防水シートとおむつカバーの内面間に挟入されて防水隔離されるので、おむつ材より滲出する尿は仙骨周辺等の肌に触れることがなく、また汗も吸収されて乾燥した清潔な状態を保つことができて、着用の快適さとともに褥瘡などの発症を確実に予防することができるという効果を生ずる。
