【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electric field sensor used for measurement of radio waves and electromagnetic noise, and more particularly to an electric field sensor for measuring electric field strength due to electromagnetic waves and functioning as a receiving antenna for signal radio waves of a specific frequency such as broadcast radio waves.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Many electrical devices such as information devices such as computers and communication devices, FA devices such as robots, and controllers such as automobiles and railways always have a risk of being affected by malfunctions due to external electromagnetic noise. Therefore, in the EMC field, it is important to accurately measure the magnitude of noise that affects the external electromagnetic environment and the noise generated by itself, and the like.
[0003]
For the measurement of electromagnetic noise as described above, conventionally, (a) a method of receiving using a normal antenna and guiding it to a measuring device with a conductive cable, (b) detecting a signal received by the antenna and using a light emitting diode A method of converting to an optical signal and guiding it to a measuring instrument with an optical fiber; (c) electric field strength change using an optical element configured to change the intensity of incident light depending on the applied electric field strength There is a method of converting the light into a light intensity change and guiding it to a light receiver through an optical fiber.
[0004]
The method using the antenna of (a) has been adopted for a long time and is the most general method. However, the electric field distribution may be disturbed due to the presence of a conductive cable or the like over a long distance, or noise may be mixed in from the middle of the cable. Because of the problems such as the above, the methods (b) and (c) using an optical fiber have been developed.
[0005]
The method (b) amplifies the signal detected by the diode, adds it to the light emitting diode, converts it to an optical signal, and guides it to the light receiver by an optical fiber. However, an electric circuit or a battery is required for the sensor head. However, there are disadvantages that the shape becomes large, the electric field detection sensitivity is low, and the response speed is slow.
[0006]
In the method (c), a crystal having an electro-optic effect is used as an optical element that converts electric field strength into transmitted light intensity change. There are two types of element structures, bulk elements and waveguide elements. In the former, the light emitted from the optical fiber is converted into parallel light by a lens, passed through a crystal to which an electrode connected to an antenna is attached, the polarization state is changed by an electric field in the crystal, and converted into an intensity change by an analyzer. It is a bulk element that couples to the optical fiber again. The latter waveguide type element is constituted by an optical waveguide provided on a crystal substrate. Usually, the waveguide type has a

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
It goes without saying that the identification of the source of electromagnetic noise and the accurate measurement and analysis of the electric field are indispensable for investigating the cause, removing, or preventing the malfunction of electrical equipment. The conventional electric field sensor cannot be denied the object of focusing on the measurement of electric fields in a wide space including a linear dipole antenna. In general, it is desirable to measure the radiated electric field close to an object that emits electromagnetic waves and perpendicular to the surface of the object.
[0010]
The present invention is to provide an electric field sensor capable of measuring an electric field with high sensitivity along the surface shape of an electromagnetic wave generating object having a shape that is not necessarily a flat surface.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention provides a sensor head configured so that the intensity of incident light changes in accordance with the applied electric field intensity, the light source of incident light of the sensor head, and the sensor head An electric field composed of a light receiver that detects light emitted from the light source, an optical fiber that forms a light transmission path from the light source to the sensor head and from the sensor head to the light receiver, and an antenna that receives the applied electric field and inputs it to the sensor head In the sensor, the antenna is made of a sheet-like shape memory alloy, is mounted symmetrically on both sides of the sensor head or a package that accommodates the sensor head, and follows the curved surface shape of the object to be measured that emits electromagnetic waves. An electric field sensor configured to be deformed to measure electric field strength .
[0014]
Furthermore, the present invention is composed of a branched interference optical waveguide whose sensor head is formed on a substrate exhibiting an electro-optic effect, and a modulation electrode disposed in the vicinity of the two phase shift optical waveguides of the branched interference optical waveguide. This is an electric field sensor of an optical waveguide element type sensor head.
