【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an apparatus for removing deposits on a roll surface used in a processing line such as a metal strip.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A large number of rolls are used in a processing line of a metal strip or the like for running the strip. Foreign matter may adhere to these roll surfaces. Accumulation of foreign matter may be caused by sporadic extraneous matter due to the arrival of extraneous foreign matter, or may be cumulative, such as contamination of treatment liquid contaminants that are likely to occur on intermediate rolls or exit rolls in the treatment tank. The cause of the occurrence varies, for example, due to the attachment.
[0003]
For example, metal plating such as zinc, tin, and chromium on the surface of a steel sheet by electroplating is widely performed to prevent corrosion of a steel strip. As a plating apparatus for performing such plating, a horizontal electroplating apparatus is widely used. Hereinafter, a case where zinc plating is applied to the surface of a steel sheet by using equipment used for zinc-based electroplating such as zinc plating, zinc-nickel plating, and zinc-iron plating will be described as an example.
[0004]
FIG. 3 is an example of a horizontal electroplating facility used for zinc-based plating of a steel sheet. In the figure, 1 is a steel plate, 2 is a plating tank for holding a plating solution, 17 is a plating solution in which zinc ions are dissolved, 18 is an anode, 3 is an energizing roll, 4 is a backup roll, and 5 is a dam roll. The
[0005]
When plating is performed, a part of the plating solution is taken out of the plating tank together with the steel sheet, and is also plated on the surface of the
[0006]
In order to prevent the occurrence of these defects, as described in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 33264/1990, the surface of the current-carrying roll is constantly or intermittently ground with a grindstone or sandpaper to remove metal adhering to the roll surface. Removed. However, the removed metal and the grinding material such as the grindstone used for grinding may fall between the steel plate and the energizing roll, causing arc spots and pressing flaws again. Need to be prevented from falling on the steel plate.
[0007]
Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 6-25360 discloses an apparatus for preventing the foreign matter from dropping onto a steel plate. As shown in FIG. 4, the apparatus described in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 6-25360 discloses a foreign substance adhering to the surface of the
[0008]
This device removes foreign matters such as metal powder and abrasives generated by the grinding operation from the roll surface and prevents them from falling onto the steel plate surface. Further, the doctor blade is slid in the width direction to prevent scratches on the roll surface due to the scraped foreign matter constantly contacting the same location on the roll surface.
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In electroplating, it is important to reduce Joule heat generated during plating in order to reduce plating power costs. For that purpose, it is important to shorten the length of the steel plate from the portion facing the anode to the portion in contact with the current-carrying roll, and the equipment is compact with this length shortened as much as possible. Therefore, the space between the energizing roll and the dam roll is narrow. In addition, it is necessary to perform various operations associated with the plating process in the vicinity of the plating tank. Therefore, it is desirable that the device installed around the energizing roll be as simple as possible.
[0010]
However, the device described in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 6-25360 is a large device including the

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems, to provide a compact device and excellent workability, and to provide a roll adhering device that can be used in various metal strip processing lines.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Means for achieving the above object are as follows.
(1) A hook-shaped adhered substance scraping member having a cross-sectional shape, a bent portion having a tip abutting on a roll is formed at a lower end thereof, and an upper end of the scraping member is rotatably held. Roll removal device.
[0013]
(2) The roll adhering device according to (1), wherein the upper end of the scraping member is held so as to be relatively movable with respect to the roll in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the roll.
(3) The apparatus for removing adhering substances on a roll according to the above (1) or (2), wherein when the roll is an energizing roll, at least the roll contact portion of the scraping member is formed of an insulating member.
(4) The apparatus for removing a substance deposited on a roll according to any one of the above (1) to (3), wherein the roll polishing apparatus is provided in contact with the roll.
[0014]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Next, an example of an embodiment of the attached matter removing apparatus of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a state in which the attached matter removing device of the present invention is applied to a current-carrying roll portion of a horizontal electroplating facility described in the related art.
[0015]
In the figure,
An attachment scraping member 11 having a hook-shaped cross section is connected to a

[0017]
The material and pressing force of the blade can be appropriately selected according to the properties of the adhered substance to be removed and the material of the roll. If necessary, the pressing force can be adjusted by means for changing the magnitude of the torque applied to the
[0018]
Further, a
With the above-described configuration, the deposit removed by the polishing
[0019]
Further, since the upper end of the scraping member is rotatable and the upper end is held so as to be relatively movable with respect to the roll, by moving the upper end of the scraping member to a position close to the roll, the scraping is performed. Adjusting the scraping force and preventing the roll from being flawed can be prevented by the weight of the removing member. Further, since at least the roll contact portion of the scraping member is an insulating member, it is possible to prevent the plating current from leaking to an external device of the plating apparatus.
[0020]
In addition, by using a roll polishing apparatus together, it is possible to more effectively remove deposits on the roll.
In this embodiment, the object is an energizing roll, the attached matter scraping member is insulated, and a polishing apparatus is provided. If it is not a current-carrying roll, no insulator is required. Further, depending on the state of the attached matter, the attached matter scraping member can be used alone without using a polishing device.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION Although this invention is an inexpensive and compact apparatus, it is possible to reliably and easily remove extraneous matter, and it does not impair workability.
