Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for preventing lipid oxidation of fish and a lipid oxidation inhibitor for fish .
[0002]
[Prior art]
It is said that the body fat of fish has a high proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids and is susceptible to oxidative stress. In addition, the environment in which edible fish and ornamental fish are cultivated and reared is generally overcrowded, and there is a lot of fat accumulation due to lack of exercise.Furthermore, cultured fish must be grown and shipped in a short period of time. As a result, high-fat and high-protein feeds are fed, and oxidative stress is further increased, causing adverse effects such as a decrease in vitality and a decrease in resistance to stress and disease.
[0003]
For this reason, feeding of various substances has been attempted as an agent for improving the constitution of fish.
For example, meat quality improving feed containing plant powder / extracts such as ginseng, loofah, and amachazur as essential components (JP-A-61-119144), aquaculture feed containing a tea component (JP-A-5-308908), and A feed for fish farming using a triglyceride as an active ingredient (JP-A-2-35048); a polyphenol-based compound having a catechin skeleton, for example, a meat-improving feed for cultured fish to which a tea polyphenol is added (JP-A-8-336359).
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a method of preventing lipid oxidation of fish and a method of preventing lipid oxidation of fish for maintaining and improving the health of fish .
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has solved the problem by administering proanthocyanidins having various physiologically active actions including antioxidant action when breeding fish.
[0006]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described specifically.
The fish to be used as the control of the present invention are ornamental fish and cultured fish, etc., and ornamental fish such as swordfish, goldfish, various tropical fish and the like, and cultured fish such as yellowtail, Thailand, coho salmon, flounder, eel, sweetfish, carp, rainbow trout and the like. Yes, these fish are fed proanthocyanidins and bred.
Proanthocyanidins are a group of condensed tannins present in various plant bodies, that is, a group of compounds formed by condensing or polymerizing flavan-3-ol and flavan-3,4-diol as constituent units. This name is given because it produces anthocyanidins such as cyanidin, delphinidin, pelargonidin and the like, and is a polymer procyanidin having a dimer, trimer, tetramer, or even a 10-mer or more of the above structural units. , Prodelphinidin, and proanthocyanidins such as properargonidine, and their stereoisomers.
[0007]
Such proanthocyanidins can be obtained from various plant bodies, for example, grape seeds and peels, cranberry fruits, apple fruits, red beans, cedars, cypresses, pine barks, etc. by extraction with hot water or hydrous alcohol, and commercially available products. For example, KPA manufactured and sold by Kikkoman Corporation can be used.
The proanthocyanidin for fish is administered as a normal feed, for example, mixed with fish meal, soybean meal, wheat flour, bran, vitamins, minerals, starch, cellulose, etc. to give a granular, paste-like or pellet-like feed. The amount may be 10 to 1,000 PPM mixed in the feed.
[0008]
【The invention's effect】
Fish to which proanthocyanidins have been administered in this way have improved protective ability against oxidative stress, and can maintain and promote health. In addition, the resulting meat is excellent in quality with less lipid peroxide in the meat.
[0009]
【Example】
Example 1
Rainbow trout were bred under the conditions shown in Table 1 by administering the feed shown in Table 2. The results are shown in Table 3 and below.
