FIG. 6 is an enlarged view of FIG. 5 and shows typical time points of various modulation factors for only one phase of the converter voltage command, and includes a), b), c), d), and e) Both show the same thing as FIG. The period Ta in FIG. 6 shows a case where the converter voltage command Vir * is smaller than the peak of the triangular wave TW, that is, the degree of modulation is 1 or less. As a result of comparing the triangular wave TW indicated by the solid line with the converter voltage command Vir * in a), if the pulse width T1 of the PWM waveform PWr is sufficiently longer than the dead time Td as shown in b), the P side Both the element and the N-side element have a sufficient conduction period or arc extinguishing period, and can reliably conduct or extinguish the arc.
[0016]
However, when the pulse width T1 becomes short and approaches the dead time Td, the conduction period T11 of the N-side element becomes short, and the element is turned on due to the delay of the gate amplifier, the turn-on time of the element, and the difference in the load state. It may or may not conduct. That is, a pulse may or may not appear during the conduction period T11 of the N-side element. Such uncertain factors of the operation hinder stable control.
[0017]
The period of Tc shown in FIG. 6 shows a case where the converter voltage command Vir * is larger than the peak of the triangular wave TW, that is, the degree of modulation exceeds 1. In this case, the output of the comparator does not change, the PWM waveform does not change, and no change occurs in the conduction and extinction of the element.
[0018]
When the converter voltage command Vir * is close to the peak value of the triangular wave TW, as in the period Tb shown in FIG. 6, the pulse width T2 of the PWM waveform PWr is shorter than the pulse width T1 in the period Ta. When the pulse width T2 becomes shorter than the dead time Td, the outputs of the two monomultivibrators 102 and 103 in FIG. 4 overlap, the N-side element continues to extinguish, and the P-side element extinguishes for a period of T2 + Td. Arc.
[0019]
Further, when the pulse width T1 becomes shorter and the pulse of T2 disappears in the PWM waveform, there is no trigger to the two monomultivibrators 102 and 103 in FIG. 4, and the output of the NOR
[0020]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, in the PWM modulation in which the modulation rate exceeds 1, or in the vicinity of 1, the pulse width of the gate changes discontinuously or the generation becomes irregular when the modulation degree is in the vicinity of 1, and the current, Voltage control becomes discontinuous, hindering stable control and generating ripples. Further, when the modulation factor exceeds 1, the control gain changes, causing waveform distortion in the power supply current.
[0021]
In the present invention, an object of the present invention is to prevent control instability, waveform distortion, and ripples, to obtain a desired control characteristic at a lower modulation factor, and to prevent the modulation factor from being 1 or overmodulation. Provide a method.

[Means for Solving the Problems]
A PWM converter control method according to the present invention includes a converter section for mutually converting a three-phase AC power supply voltage and a DC voltage, a current command signal for commanding an AC power supply current, and an error between the current command signal and the AC power supply current. An AC power supply that has a current control unit for performing arithmetic amplification and a PWM generation unit to which an output of the current control unit is added and generates a PWM waveform corresponding to the output; and an output signal of the PWM generation unit is provided to a converter unit. In a converter control method for controlling a current to match the current command signal, the converter has a bias waveform, the bias waveform limiting the head of a three-phase sine wave synchronized with a three-phase AC power supply voltage, and It is characterized in that a waveform obtained by adding and subtracting the amount reduced by the operation to and from the other two phases is obtained, and the sum of the waveform and the output of the current control unit is added to the PWM generation unit. To.
[0023]
That is, in the PWM converter control method according to the present invention, a reference bias generator is provided in the reference waveform generator, and a reference bias waveform whose phase matches the power supply voltage is output similarly to the reference sine wave generator. In addition, the waveform limits the waveform of the maximum phase of the reference sine wave signals Sr, Ss, St, which is the output of the reference sine wave generator, to 0.866 times the peak value (= SIN60 °). A waveform in which the maximum phase waveform exceeds 0.866 is a waveform obtained by adding or subtracting from the other two-phase sine waveforms.
[0024]
Further, a bias modulation factor calculator and a multiplier are added to the reference waveform generator. Here, the bias modulation rate calculator outputs a bias modulation rate proportional to the ratio between the power supply voltage and the target DC voltage. A bias voltage command is obtained by multiplying the output of the reference bias waveform generator by a bias modulation rate, and a PWM waveform corresponding to the sum of the bias voltage command and the output of the current controller is output by the PWM generator.
[0025]
[Action]
By limiting the amplitude of the reference bias waveform of each of the three phases to 0.866 times the sine wave (= SIN60 °) by the above-described means, the amplitude of the reference bias waveform can be reduced compared to the converter voltage command that appears in the output of the conventional current control unit. Therefore, the maximum value of the bias voltage command is suppressed to about 13%, and control can be performed without overmodulation over a wide range of DC voltage and power supply voltage. Therefore, a pulse always appears in the PWM waveforms PWr, PWs, and PWt, and a discontinuous operation of the gate pulse based on the operation of the monomultivibrator in the
[0026]
In addition, since the waveform of the three-phase bias voltage command has a flat head, the voltage of each phase as viewed from the neutral point of the power supply voltage has a flat waveform at the top and does not become a sine wave. Since the waveform of the difference between the bias voltage commands is a sine wave equivalent to the output of the conventional current control unit, the line voltage is a sine wave, and the waveform distortion rate is not impaired. .
[0027]
Note that the above-mentioned limit value does not necessarily have to be 0.866 times, and if it is less than 1 and 0.866 or more, there is a certain effect. In other words, the smaller the limit value is, the smaller the maximum value of the modulation factor is, so that it is possible to control a wider range of DC voltage and power supply voltage without overmodulation.
[0028]
When the limit value is set to 0.866 (= SIN60 °) or less, feedback occurs in which two of the three reference bias waveforms are simultaneously limited. If the two reference bias waveforms are restricted to a constant value, the line voltage becomes constant during that period. That is, distortion occurs. The three-phase current cannot be controlled only by modifying the other one-phase reference bias waveform. Thus, the limit value with the greatest effect is 0.866.
[0029]
Furthermore, if a PWM waveform is generated by a bias voltage command in phase with the power supply voltage and the converter is operated, the DC voltage is stabilized at a voltage value proportional to the power supply voltage even if the output of the current control unit is zero. . Therefore, if the bias voltage command is changed in accordance with the ratio between the power supply voltage and the target DC voltage, the DC voltage can be kept almost constant even when the output of the current control unit is zero. This means that if there is a bias voltage command, and if the bias voltage command is changed in accordance with the ratio between the power supply voltage and the target DC voltage, the gain of the current control unit may be small. .

[0032]
First, the period Te will be described. Sr, Ss, St are sine waves with a peak value of 1. In the period Te, the instantaneous value of the R-phase waveform Sr is the largest value as compared with the instantaneous values of the S-phase and T-phase waveforms Ss and St. In the 60-degree period Te in which the R-phase waveform Sr has the largest absolute value, the R-phase reference bias waveform Sbr is constant at 0.866. This is a value of SIN60 °. Also, during this period, the S-phase and T-phase reference bias waveforms Sbs and Sbt are also reduced (increased in absolute value) by the amount that the reference bias waveform Sbr is lower than the reference sine wave Sr.
[0033]
In the other 60-degree period, the reference bias waveform of the phase of the reference sine wave having the largest absolute value during that period is fixed at 0.866, and the difference between the reference bias waveform of the phase and the reference sine wave is calculated. A value obtained by adding or subtracting from the other two-phase reference sine waves is used as a reference bias waveform. The above-described reference bias waveform can be realized by a limiter circuit or an addition / subtraction circuit using an electronic circuit. However, in a control circuit using a microcomputer, it can be easily realized by providing a memory table.

[0037]
In the above configuration, since the bias voltage commands Vbr *, Vbs *, and Vbt * have a modulation factor for outputting an AC voltage corresponding to the power supply voltage from the DC voltage, the converter voltage commands Vir *, Vis * and Vit * need only be controlled by the AC reactor of the power supply current to be controlled and the voltage drop due to the power supply impedance. The amplitude of the output of the current control unit becomes extremely small with respect to the bias voltage command, and the modulation degree Is almost determined by the bias voltage command.
[0038]
Further, even when the peak value is 13% lower than the output of the conventional current control unit, the difference between the three-phase reference bias waveform and the bias voltage command is 100% of the peak value. Because of the sine wave, a conventional voltage is output as the line voltage. That is, a conventional line voltage can be output at a modulation degree 13% lower than the conventional one, and the line voltage waveform is maintained as a sine wave.

【The invention's effect】
As described in detail above, according to the PWM converter control method of the present invention, desired control can be performed at a lower modulation rate than in the related art. Thus, a desired control can be realized by eliminating the discontinuous operation of the gate signal and the element and the unstable control and waveform distortion based on the unstable operation.

[0045]
Although the case where the peak value of the reference bias waveform is limited to 0.866 (= SIN60 °) has been described, the peak value is set to any value less than 1 and 0.866 or more according to the application. The effect is also obtained. Further, the method of calculating the bias modulation rate by the bias modulation rate calculator can also be obtained from only the DC voltage or DC voltage command or only the AC power supply voltage depending on the application.
