本発明は、多種多様な音響機器に用いられるスピーカユニットに関し、特に再生特性を実際の実装状態に合わせて微調整することができるスピーカユニットに関する。

一般に、家庭用スピーカ装置は、スピーカユニットがスピーカボックスに取り付けられるという前提で設計した後に製造されている。また、スピーカ装置が一般家庭の平均的な場所に設置されるという前提で各種特性が設定されている。
