Abstract
【課題】 ヒアルロン酸とペプタイドの二物質を含有するヒアルロン酸吸収用食品は、これまでの研究により優れた抗腫瘍効果を発揮することが判明している。本発明はそのようなヒアルロン酸吸収用食品に存する抗腫瘍効果をさらに強化するべくなされたものであり、その目的は健康維持機能に優れた健康食品を提供し、併せて優れた抗腫瘍作用を発揮する経口用抗腫瘍剤を提供することにある。
【解決手段】 ヒアルロン酸とペプタイドとアルコール溶液による竹抽出物の少なくとも三物質を含有してなる健康食品を提供する。この健康食品を経口摂取することにより、ヒアルロン酸とペプタイドの二物質を含有する健康食品に存する抗腫瘍効果を上回る抗腫瘍効果を発揮する。

[抗腫瘍実験1]

すなわち、筍の身(皮を剥いだ中味の部分で、通常食用にする部分)をエタノール濃度が60%である含水エタノール溶液に浸けて60℃×2時間加熱し、そうして抽出した液体を濾過し、減圧濃縮(50℃)し、乾燥(60℃)させて粉末にした。
以上の竹抽出物の粉末と前記鶏冠抽出物の粉末を1:1の割合で混合して本発明品を得た。そして、実験食として一般的な通常飼料と、その通常飼料に1%の本発明品を混ぜたものと、前記通常飼料に1%の鶏冠抽出物を混ぜたものと、前記通常飼料に1%の竹抽出物を混ぜたものを夫々用意した。
次に腹水癌細胞(sarcoma-180)1×106個を5週齢のICRマウス(雄性)に対して右鼠頚部皮下に移植し、この細胞移植当日より前記した四種の実験食を四群に分けたマウスに各群1種のみ自由摂取させ、隔週で腫瘍の大きさを計測し、腫瘍面積を算出した。
その実験結果を図1に示す。この実験結果から明らかなように本発明の健康食品(又は経口用抗腫瘍剤)は、何も混ぜない通常飼料はもちろん、鶏冠抽出物と竹抽出物を夫々単独で混合した飼料より優れた抗腫瘍作用を発揮することが確認できた。
