Description

【0001】

[Prior art]
Conventional lubricating devices in a transmission case of an internal combustion engine are disclosed in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 5-33686, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 8-3744, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 10-299876, and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-190418. There is something. These were forced / splash lubrication from inside the transmission shaft, lubrication to the transmission gear tooth surface from an oil reservoir provided on the transmission case side, or jet lubrication from the oil supply passage to the transmission gear tooth surface.
[0003]
[Problem to be solved]
All of the conventional lubrication devices in the transmission case have problems such as insufficient lubrication of the entire transmission system or the need to machine complicated oil passages.
[0004]
In order to solve the conventional problem, the invention according to claim 1 is provided on an upper part of a transmission case divided by a division plane intersecting with a transmission axis, extending in an axial direction of the transmission axis across the division plane, the up divided side walls of the transmission case was contiguous tongues canopy and (eaves), a lubrication system for an internal combustion engine, characterized in that a lubricating oil supply port which opens at the base of the eaves.
[0005]
Therefore, in the invention according to claim 1 , since the tongue-shaped eaves extending in the axial direction of the transmission shaft across the divided surface of the transmission case is provided, the lubricating oil supply port opened at the base of the eaves is supplied onto the eaves. The lubricating oil flows down on the surface of the eaves while spreading in the axial direction of the transmission shaft, falls on the transmission shaft, and lubricates the entire length thereof. In addition, since the eaves continue to the side wall of each divided transmission case, it also functions as a reinforcing member for each transmission case.
[0006]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect of the present invention, the lubricating oil supply port is provided on the dividing surface, and the lubricating oil supply passage leading to the lubricating oil supply port is formed by each of the divided oil supply passages. The transmission case is formed by a groove provided on only one of the divided surfaces in the transmission case .
[0007]
Therefore, according to the second aspect of the present invention, it is not necessary to machine a complicated oil passage in the wall of the transmission case or in the shaft, and there is no troublesome assembling like a pipe, so that the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
[0008]

In FIGS. 2 and 3, the portions with double-dashed lines indicate left and right dividing surfaces (matching surfaces) (3C in FIGS. 4 and 5).
[0012]
As shown in these figures, the lubricating oil supply port 22 is open on the dividing surface (matching surface) 3C of the transmission case 3. The eaves 21 are divided into a left half portion 21A and a right half portion 21B with the division surface 3C interposed therebetween, and extend in the axial direction of the transmission shaft (vertical direction in FIG. 5). It continues to the side walls 15A and 15B . A lubricating oil supply groove 23A is formed in one of the divided transmission cases 3 (the left half 3A on the illustrated side), and the lubricating oil supply groove 23A is separated from the other (the right half 3B on the illustrated side). By assembling together, the lubricating oil supply passage 23 shown in FIG. 1 is formed.
[0013]
The lubricating oil supplied from an oil pump (not shown) is supplied to the upper surface of the eaves 21 from the lubricating oil supply port 22 through the lubricating oil supply port 24 and the lubricating oil supply passage 23. Then, it flows down while spreading on the surface of the eaves 21 in the axial direction of the main shaft 5 and the output shaft 6, and is dripped from the lower edge onto a drive gear, a driven gear, or the like to lubricate them.
[0014]
In the present embodiment, a tongue-shaped eave 21 is provided in the upper part of the transmission case 3 in the axial direction of the transmission shaft, and the lubricating oil supply port 22 is opened at the base of the eave 21. The lubricating oil spreads in the direction of the transmission axis, and the transmission axis is lubricated over its entire length.
