【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来のショーケースでは、扉側上方の横フレーム40の外側面が外部に露出し外気に直接触れる構造となっていた。そのため、横フレーム40の外側面に結露が生じやすいという問題があった。またこれを防止するため、従来は横フレーム40の内側面上に防露ヒータ41を設置していたが、これによりショーケースの部品コストが上がったり、組み付け工数が増えたり、あるいはランニングコストが上昇するといった弊害が生じた。

本発明は、以上のような問題点に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的は、扉側上方の横フレームに結露が生じにくく、コスト的にも有利なショーケースを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
発明に係るショーケースは、商品を保冷可能な商品収納室の側面に扉により開閉される商品取り出し口を有し、該商品取り出し口を形成する金属枠が左右に立設した縦フレームとこの縦フレーム間に架設した横フレームとによって構成されるショーケースにおいて、前記横フレームを樹脂製部材で形成されたフレーム枠の内部に被包するとともに、該フレーム枠の内部のうち庫外側に該横フレームを配置し、該フレーム枠の内部に該横フレームと該商品収納室とを離隔する中空部を設けた構造となっている。本発明によれば、中空部が商品収納室内からの横フレームへの熱伝導を遮断するよう作用する。これにより、横フレームの内外に発生する結露の発生が抑制される。
