上記の従来技術によれば、遠隔監視によるメンテナンス契約を行なったユーザーは機器の異常発生時には、営業拠点あるいはサービス拠点から速やかな対応を受けられる。しかし、メンテナンス契約をしていないユーザーは、機器異常発生時に機器管理者に機器の不具合を報告し、機器管理者が不具合点を確認した後、機器を購入した特約店サービス若しくはメーカサービスセンタに電話で状況を伝えながら修理を依頼しているのが実情である。したがって、状況の伝達がスムーズに行かない場合、メンテナンスの対応遅れの原因となっていた。
