Description
【0001】

[Industrial applications]
The present invention relates to a file management apparatus and method for managing files to be stored using file identification information such as a file name, and a computer system.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, computers have expanded from applications such as document creation, CAD, and scientific and technological calculations to networking of a plurality of computers to share documents and sharing of data for creating a common database. Various methods have been devised for systematically managing a file as a set of data in order to efficiently use the amount of information. On the other hand, portable information terminals for managing individual information have also been developed, and with the development of such personalized terminals, the amount of information to be managed by individual users has increased. There is a growing demand to manage according to the management method.
[0003]
As a file management method described above,
1) A keyword for search is attached to a file, and the file is managed by the keyword. 2) The file is classified, and the classification name is managed in a hierarchical tree structure. 3) The file is managed by link information between the files. No.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The above-described management methods 1) and 2) merely add a keyword and a group name to a file at the time of registration and register the file, and the file registration is simple. However, after the file is registered, the user's storage of the keyword, the classification name, and the hierarchical order of the classification name is likely to be ambiguous with the passage of time, and the files managed by these methods are the same as those at the time of registration. If the keyword and classification name are not remembered, the search for the target file becomes impossible. Also, the hierarchical classification names are input in the hierarchical order to enable searching for the target file following the tree structure. However, if the input order of the classification names is different from the hierarchical order, the tree structure cannot be traced. It will be impossible to search for files.
[0005]
On the other hand, the management method of 3) is opposite to the management method of 1) and 2), since closely related files are linked by link information, even if the initial storage of the keyword becomes ambiguous, If any of the files in the file group having a link relation can be searched with a keyword close to this, a target file can be searched from this file by following the link relation, and the search is not impossible at all. However, the management method 3) has a problem that the labor for selecting and linking related files and the labor for providing link information to the grouped files are large, and the management cost of information is increased.
[0006]
In addition, user personal information is not only information organized so that it can be systematized, and personal information is personally registered and used by users. It is more desirable to systematize according to the user's ease of use than to orderly and fixed systematization.
[0007]
The present invention has been made to solve such a problem, and the result of analysis of the operation content added to a file, that is, the same character string is searched according to the user's intention to access the file. By automatically grouping files or files that have a reference / reference relationship, and structuring the files, it is possible to search for the target file with search information that is long in memory because it complies with the user's intention. It is an object of the present invention to provide a file management apparatus and method which have good operability and low file management costs.
[0008]
Further, the present invention associates hierarchical information constructed based on file classification according to the user's individual file access intention with hierarchical information of a shared file which is a shared resource of an unspecified number of users. It is an object of the present invention to provide a computer system in which the management of a shared file can be performed with search information that remains in the memory for a long time because it complies with the user's intent, has good operability, and has a low file management cost.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
FIG. 1 is an explanatory view of the principle of the present invention. In the file management apparatus of the first invention and the file management method of the second invention, the contents of the file operation from the
[0014]
The computer system according to the third aspect of the invention does not specify the first hierarchical information according to the personal intention of the user hierarchized by the file management device of the first aspect, and the shared file that is a shared resource of a plurality of computers. Means are provided for associating and managing the second hierarchical information hierarchized based on another standard with a large number of users in mind, and the shared file can be managed by the first hierarchical information.
[0015]
[Action]
The file management device and method of the present invention classify files searched by the same character string into the same group according to the contents of file operations such as “search” and “open”, or Are automatically classified and structured according to the user's intention when accessing the file, by classifying the files in the same group into the same group. Therefore, the user can search for the target file with the unique search information that remains in the memory for a long time according to the user's intention, and the management cost of the file is low.
[0016]
Further, the computer system of the present invention can search for a shared file, which is a shared resource of an unspecified number of users, with hierarchical information constructed from the classification of files according to the user's individual intention. Therefore, the user can search for the target file with the unique search information that remains in the memory for a long time, and the management cost of the file is low.
[0017]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings showing the embodiments.
FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing the configuration of one embodiment of the present invention. In the figure,

In the readable / writable area of the

3 and 5 are conceptual diagrams of the structured table 105. FIG. 3 shows a structured table obtained by grouping files based on a search operation. FIG. 5 shows a grouped file based on a file reference operation. FIG. 3 is a conceptual diagram of a structured table obtained by conversion.
If the file operation is a character string search within a file, a “search”
If there is an open file during the search operation, the file name is added to the “search file name list”.
[0021]
If the file operation is a file reference for opening and closing a file, an "open"
[0022]
In addition to the method of analyzing the contents of the file operation each time the operation is performed, a log of the file operation of the user may be stored in the operation history table 104 and the operation log may be analyzed.
FIG. 6 is a conceptual diagram of the operation history table 104. The "search"
[0023]
In the figure, a search operation for a “File of Keyword 0” as a target file is performed when a search character string is represented by a regular expression (for example, a regular expression such as a character string including “Akashi”, “Akashi Kaikyo”, “Ariakeshi Bridge”). ”, Etc. are search targets). In this case, each of the character strings actually used in the search (in the case of the above example,“ Akashi Strait ”and“ Ariakeshi Bridge ”) is converted into a keyword to form a structured table. 105 (see FIG. 3).
[0024]
These operation logs are registered in the operation history table 104 in the order in which the operations have occurred (from top to bottom in FIG. 6), but may be deleted when the file is structured. Further, a past operation log whose date and time has passed without being structured is deleted because it may not meet the user's current intention.
If the file operation is “delete”, the file name of the file to be deleted registered in the structured table 105 is deleted.
[0025]
Next, an embodiment of the processing of the file management apparatus of the present invention will be described based on the flowchart of FIG.
When a file operation occurs, the
[0026]
FIG. 4 is a conceptual diagram when a structured table in which files searched by the same character string are grouped as shown in FIG. 3 is expressed as a tree structure.
As is apparent from the figure, the files are systematically structured by grouping the files in which the search character strings are keyworded, and the words composed of the character strings used in the search or the words including the character strings are used. Each time, it is a keyword. Therefore, regardless of whether the file managed by this management information is searched in the order of “keyword 0” and “
When expressed in a tree structure, the relevance of files grouped in a deeper hierarchy (for example, file B and file D) can be said to be deeper than the relevance of files in the upper layer.
[0027]
As another method of systematically structuring a file, a method of statically analyzing a file other than the analysis of the file operation can be considered.
In the static analysis, for example, the frequency of appearance of each word in each file is counted, and files having the same number of words from the top in frequency of occurrence are grouped using these words as keywords. At this time, when the number of files is large, the number of ranks from the higher rank where words match may be reduced, and when the number of files is small, the number may be increased.
[0028]
Note that the file management device itself does not necessarily need to perform static analysis of the file, and the static analysis may be performed by another computer having a high processing speed, and data of the analysis result may be used.
[0029]
Also, a computer system using the file management apparatus of the present invention is provided with a synonym dictionary or the like as a database, detects a synonym of a search character string at the time of file search, and searches for a file with this synonym other than the search character string. Then the hit rate of file search will increase.
[0030]
Furthermore, structured information of personal information structured by the file management apparatus and the management method of the present invention and structured information such as a tree structure in a network system using a common file as a shared resource of a plurality of computers are used. If they are managed in association with each other, a shared file can be managed using personal structured information.
[0031]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the file management apparatus and method of the present invention provide a file that is searched with the same character string or a reference / Since the files that are referred to are automatically grouped to structure the file, the target file can be searched with the search information that is long in memory because it complies with the user's intention, and the operability is good. It has an excellent effect that the file management cost is low.
[0032]
Further, the computer system of the present invention includes hierarchical information constructed based on file classification according to the user's individual file access intention, and hierarchical information of a shared file which is a shared resource of an unspecified number of users. Is managed in association with the user's intention, so that the shared file can be searched with the search information remaining in the memory for a long time, so that the operability is good and the file management cost is low.
