この発明は、携帯電話機等が着信を受けたとき、着信を報知する着信報知装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
携帯電話機にあっては、小型、軽量化が進み、かつ、操作者に便利な機能が充実化されてきており、益々、普及拡大が期待されている。携帯電話機は、何時でも何処でも発信着信ができるものであり、便利なものであるが、どの機種も着信音が類似しており、近辺で着信音が鳴動すると所持している携帯電話機に着信していなくても着信しているのかどうか確認する光景をよく見かける。
そこで、自分が所持している携帯電話機が着信していることを聞き分けることができるようにするために着信音をメロディ音にしたものが提案されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来、着信音をメロディ音とした着信メロディは、メーカ側で予め決められた数曲のメロディ音を登録したもの及び操作者がメロディをキー操作により入力して登録するようにしたものがある。
しかしながら、メーカ側で予め決められた数曲のメロディ音を登録したものにあっては、数が限定されており、自分の携帯電話機に着信していることの確認が判りやすくなったものの、同じメロディ音を使用するケースがあることから充分な確認ができず、依然として問題点を残している。
一方、操作者がメロディをキー操作により入力して登録するようにしたものにあっては、オリジナルの着信メロディとすることができ、上記の問題点を解消し得る一つの方策であったが、キー操作によるメロディ作成には手間がかかり、かつ、音楽に知識のない人にはメロディの作成が困難であった。

この発明は、係る問題点を解消するためになされたもので、音楽に知識のない人でもオリジナルの着信メロディを容易に作成できるようにすることを目的としている。

この発明の請求項1に係る着信報知装置は、着信時、複数の着信メロディのうち、ユーザの選択した着信メロディ記憶部に記憶されている着信メロディを鳴動させる着信報知装置において、複数のメロディパターンを記憶するメロディデータ記憶部、このメロディデータ記憶部に記憶した複数のメロディパターンの中から2以上のメロディパターンをランダムに選択し、繋ぎあわせることにより着信メロディを作成する作成部、この作成部の作成した着信メロディを上記着信メロディ記憶部に記憶させる制御部から構成したものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
実施の形態1.
図1は、この発明の実施の形態1を示す携帯電話機のブロック図であり、1はアンテナ、2は受信部及び発信部からなる無線部、3はCPU等で構成される制御部、4は操作キーからなる入力装置、5はこの入力装置4のキー入力文字及び操作ガイド等を表示するLCD等の画像表示装置、6は音声制御部、7はこの音声制御部6で処理された受信音声信号を拡声するスピーカ、8は発信する音声を集音し音声制御部6に音声信号として入力するマイク、9は乱数発生部、10は記憶部で、作曲用のメロディデータを記憶するROMからなるメロディデータ記憶領域11と、着信時に鳴動する着信メロディを記憶するRAMからなる着信メロディ記憶領域12とからなる。

次に、動作について説明する。
自局電話番号に着信があったとき、制御部3はアンテナ1、無線部2を介して受信した電話番号が制御部3内の図示しない記憶部に記憶した自局電話番号か否かを判定し、自局電話番号であった場合、着信メロディ記憶領域12の着信メロディデータを読み出し、音声制御部6に送出する。音声制御部6は制御部3を介して入力した着信メロディデータにしたがい、スピーカ7及び図示しないリンガーを起動し着信メロディを鳴動させる。これにより、操作者に着信を報知する。

次に着信メロディを作成する手順について説明する。
メロディデータ記憶領域11は図2に示すようにポップス、沖縄民謡等、幾つかの音楽のジャンル毎にメロディデータを記憶している。そして、各ジャンルには、例えばポップスにはパターンA〜N迄の複数のパターンがあり、さらに、各パターンにはNo.1〜No.5迄の5つのメロディパターンが記憶されている。図3はパターンAのNo.1〜No.5の曲(メロディパターン)を示しており、各曲は8つの音を1小節として8つの小節で一つのパターンNo.を構成している。

図4は1小節の一例を示したもので、具体的にそのデータ内容を説明すると、1番目の音21は高いオクターブのミの音、2番目の音22は無音、3番目の音23は高いオクターブのミの音、4番目の音24は前の音(3番目の高いオクターブのミの音)の継続であり、5番目の音25は中のオクターブのラの音、6番目の音26は中のオクターブのシの音、7番目の音27は高いオクターブのドの音、8番目の音28は高いオクターブのレの音である。このように、メロディデータ記憶領域11に記憶された音のデータは中及び高の2オクターブの範囲のデータとしている。また、各音は100ms鳴動させるもので、1小節で800msの鳴動が得られるようになっている。

2小節目の曲データとしてNo.2が選択されたとすると、図3中の符号11bのデータが読み出され、制御部3の記憶部に書き込まれる。同様にステップST23〜ステップST25の処理が実行され8小節の曲データが制御部3内の記憶部に記憶されたとすると、ステップST24の判断結果がYESとなり、制御部3は記憶している8小節の曲の調(キー)を乱数発生部9の乱数で決定し、転調する(ステップST26)。ここで行う転調は1オクターブ下げる転調で、乱数により下げるか、そのままのキーにしておくかを決定する。また、転調は音毎にしても、小節毎にしても良い。この転調の処理を行うことにより、メロディデータ記憶領域11に記憶している音は高中の2オクターブであるが、作成したメロディを3オクターブに音域を広げることができ、聞き易いメロディにすることができる。

次に、図5のステップST2で着信メロディを作成すると、制御部3はその着信メロディの曲データを音声制御部6に送出し、スピーカ7及び図示しないリンガーにより作成した着信メロディを鳴動させる(ステップST3)。操作者はその着信メロディを聞き、着信音として登録するか、否かを判断し入力装置4から判断結果を入力する。登録しない場合は、再度ステップST1〜ステップST3の処理を実行し、登録する場合は入力装置4からのキー操作で登録番号を入力する(ステップST5)。キー操作により、制御部3は入力された登録番号に対応する着信メロディ記憶領域12のアドレスに作成した着信メロディを記憶させる。
ここで、着信メロディ記憶領域12には、幾つかの着信メロディを記憶できるようにしており、操作者が入力装置4のキー入力により選択できるようになっている。

上記実施の形態1では、着信メロディを予め作成記憶しておき、着信時に記憶している着信メロディを鳴動させるものとしたが、着信時、発信相手の電話番号を乱数として用い、メロディデータ記憶領域11のデータとで着信メロディを作成し、鳴動させるものとしても良い。即ち、制御部3には発信用にダイヤル番号を記憶するダイヤル記憶部(図示せず。)がある。着信時、発信相手の電話番号がダイヤル記憶部に記憶している電話番号であった場合、当該電話番号とメロディデータ記憶領域11のデータとで着信メロディを作成し、鳴動させるようにすれば、操作者は着信音で発信相手を認識することができる。
また、着信メロディを作成する発信相手を予め決めてダイヤル記憶部に登録しておき、特定の発信相手からの着信時のみ作成、鳴動させるようにしても良い。
