この発明は、配管フランジの間に挟み込んで取り付けるようにしたウェハータイプのバルブに関し、特に配管とバルブのセンターを一致させる芯出しを容易且つ確実に行い得るようにした芯出し機構を備えるウェハータイプのバルブに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、配管フランジの間に挟んで配管ボルト・ナットで締め付けて固着するようにしたバタフライ弁等のウェハータイプのバルブは公知である。かかるウェハータイプのバルブは、バルブと配管のセンターを互いに正確に合致させることが要求される。両者のセンターが合致していない場合、接続部のシール性が損なわれたり、ずれた段差の部分でキャビテーションを発生したり、ズレ量が大きい場合には回転する弁体が配管に干渉する等の問題があった。配管のフランジ継手は、圧力の大きさや国毎に異なる規格により継手の種類、寸法が異なっているため、これに接続するバルブも寸法を異ならせてそれぞれの継手に適合させる必要があり、配管とバルブのセンターを合致させること、すなわち芯出しを正確に行うことは容易ではなかった。

従来公知の芯出し方法は、例えば図9に示すように弁本体(1)の弁軸部(2)などに配管用ボルト(4)を支持可能なリブ(3)を形成し、該リブ(3)に配管ボルト(4)を当接して支持することにより芯出しをするようにする方法が知られている。しかしながら、かかるリブの形成は、機械加工ではコストがかかるために、鋳造法で成型することになるが、要求される芯出し精度に比して成型精度が悪いため、目的とする芯出し精度を出すことが出来ず、センター合わせの精度は熟練者の技能に依存せざるを得なかった。又、種々の規格のフランジに単一の形状では適合させることが出来ないため、同サイズで同仕様でありながら複数の成型用型を用意しなければならないという問題もあった。かかる問題を回避するために、実公昭51−54247号公報では、芯出し用のリブをバルブ本体と別部品として、異なるサイズの輸送管に共通に使用できるようにしたバルブが開示されている。しかしながら、この芯出し構造では、バルブを配管するときに配管とバルブを一旦正確にセンターを合わせた状態に保持しつつボルトを挿通する必要があるため、複数の作業者を要すると共に、バルブを支持するためにクレーン等の懸架装置を必要とし、配管作業のコストが増大する問題があった。又、図9や実公昭51−54247号公報の芯出し方法では、バルブを配管から取り外す際に、芯出し用ボルトを完全に取り外さなければ配管フランジの間からバルブを引く抜くことが出来ないが、このボルトを取り去り他のボルトを弛めると図11に示すようにバルブが落下することとなり、作業者の手を挟むなどの危険があった。

又、図10に示すように弁軸部に形成したリブ(3)に孔(5)を穿孔して配管ボルトを挿通するようにする方法等が知られている。この方法によればボルト挿通用の孔を複数箇所設けることにより、図9の場合よりも正確な芯出しが可能となるが、前記図9や実公昭51−54247号に見られた問題点と同様の問題を有している。特公昭47−9092号公報には、弁本体の外周面に外径方向に放射状に突出するリブを設け、該リブを配管用のボルトに接触させて芯出しを行うようにした構造が開示されているが、かかる構造では寸法の異なる複数のフランジ規格に対応することが出来ない欠点を有している。

実公平3−39651号公報や特開平8−285110号公報等には、複数の異なるフランジ規格に対応可能な芯出し方法が提案されている。実公平3−39651号公報には、バルブ本体に配管ボルト挿通用の長孔状のボルト挿通孔を形成し、該ボルト挿通孔に切断可能な阻害部を設けて阻害部の切除により複数のフランジ規格に対応可能とした構造が開示されており、特開平8−285110号公報には、合成樹脂製のバルブ本体の外周縁にリブを環状に突設し、該リブに切削可能な切除部を設けて、切除部の切除により複数のフランジ規格に対応可能とする構造が開示されている。しかしながら、実公平3−39651号公報に開示の構造では、図10の場合と同様に配管をバルブをセンター合わせしつつボルト挿通作業を要するため、クレーン等の懸架装置を必要とし、又バルブを配管から取り外すためにボルトを引き抜くと、バルブが落下する危険がある等の問題を有している。特開平8−285110号公報に開示の構造では、切除部は切込みを設けて容易に切除可能としてあるため、誤って切除部が折れてしまうおそれがある。そこで、切除部の強度を増加すると、切除が困難となったり、切除部以外の部分が破断される等のおそれがあった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
この発明は、配管とバルブのセンターを正確に合致させることが出来、作業を一人で容易に行うことが可能で、バルブを配管ボルトで支持しつつ取り付け作業や取外し作業を行うことが出来ようにせんとするものである。

上記課題を解決するためにこの発明が採った手段は、弁本体の外周面に所定の間隔で配管ボルトを当接して、弁本体と配管ボルトとの当接により、配管とバルブのセンターを一致させて芯出しを行うようにした芯出し機構を備えたウェハータイプのバルブにおいて、配管ボルトと当接する弁本体の外周面にその幅方向に延びる円弧状の凹設部を形成し、該凹設部の略中央部に架け渡される切除可能な閉止プレートを弁本体と一体に鋳造して形成し、該閉止プレートの外表面を少なくとも弁本体の外周面と面一に形成し、該閉止プレートにより凹設部の外面を閉止したことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
この発明の好ましい実施の形態を、以下に詳細に説明する。この発明は、弁本体の全外周面に所定の間隔で配管ボルトを当接して、弁本体と配管ボルトとの当接により、配管とバルブのセンターを一致させ得るようにすると共に、配管ボルトとの当接位置に切除可能な閉止プレートで外面を閉止された凹設部を形成し、配管ボルトと閉止プレートとの当接若しくは凹設部内への配管ボルトの装入により複数のフランジ規格への対応を可能とし、更に弁本体の下半部を配管フランジに挿通される配管ボルトで支持しつつ配管フランジへのバルブの取り付け若しくは取外しを可能としたことを特徴とする。配管ボルトと弁本体との当接によりセンターを合致させて芯出しを可能とすることにより、芯出し作業に熟練技術を不要とすることが出来ると共に、配管ボルトで弁本体下半部を支持しつつバルブの取り付け、取外しを行い得ることによって、一人の作業者でバルブの取り付け、取外し作業を行うことが可能となる。

【実施例】
図1,2を参照して、図面はこの発明を適用したバタフライ弁を示すが、この発明はかかるバタフライ弁に限られるものではない。配管フランジの間に挟み込んで取り付けられるウェハータイプの逆止弁等のバルブに適用することが出来ることは当業者に容易に理解されるであろう。この発明は、弁本体(1)の外周面に配管ボルト(6)を受け入れ可能な円弧状の凹設部(10)を所定の間隔で形成すると共に、該凹設部(10)の外面にブリッジ状に架け渡される閉止プレート(11)で凹設部(10)を閉止する。図2に示すように、凹設部 (10) は弁本体の幅方向に延びており、閉止プレート (11) は凹設部 (10) の中央に架け渡されている。閉止プレート(11)の外面は、弁本体(1)の外周面と面一の状態に形成され、閉止プレート(11)が存在するときには凹設部(10)が存在しない状態となり、配管ボルト(6)は弁本体(1)の外周面に一致するフランジ規格に対応することになる。閉止プレート(11)を切除すると、凹設部(10)内に配管ボルト(6)を受け入れることが出来、凹設部(10)の内面に一致するフランジ規格に対応することとなる。

【発明の効果】
この発明によれば、閉止プレートは弁本体と一体に鋳造されており、充分な強度を有しているため、配管ボルトとの当接により折損するようなおそれがないと共に、充分な強度を有する閉止プレートの切除に際しても、加工位置が明確であり、加工精度を要しないため短時間で正確な加工を行うことができる。又、凹設部は、弁本体の幅方向に延びているため、配管ボルトをその長さ方向に添って支持することができ、配管ボルトとの当接状態が安定している。
