Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a printing device and a printing method.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when a plurality of printed materials (labels or the like) having only different numbers are created, a printing having a so-called “serial number function” in which numbers and alphabets are automatically added and printed each time one sheet is printed. Devices are known. These printing apparatuses add a number that is increased by one to a predetermined character string, such as “
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, apart from the case where numbers and the like are to be sequentially added to predetermined characters in this way, depending on the usage, there is no particular restriction on the contents of characters and patterns, but symbols and patterns are specified for predetermined character strings. There are cases where it is desired to add an accent (decoration) (for example, "☆ memo", "@ memo"). In such a case, conventionally, the text must be created by appropriately changing the design every time printing is performed, and inputting the design has been troublesome.
[0004]
On the other hand, the above-described printing apparatus having the conventional “serial number function” is generally (naturally) intended to sequentially add a predictable number or the like to a predetermined character string for printing. . That is, the purpose is to print a desired character string as desired. However, such a conventional printing apparatus can only input, edit, and print a fixed character string, and the user often gets bored. In other words, if an unpredictable number or the like is added to a predetermined character string and printed, it can be used for entertainment such as lottery and fortune-telling.
[0005]
In view of the above, the present invention provides a printing apparatus that has a function of printing a plurality of pictograms at random according to a user's print instruction, thereby eliminating the trouble of setting pictograms, enabling quick and easy printing, and having an entertaining property. It is intended to provide a printing method.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present inventionA plurality of pictogram designation data storage means for storing a plurality of pictogram designation data;In the series of selection processing after the predetermined selection start processing is performed, the first rule for randomly selecting one pictogram designation data from the pictogram designation data that has not been selected, or the predetermined selection start processing is performed. In a series of selection processes after the selection, regardless of whether or not the icon has already been selected, the second rule of randomly selecting one pictogram designation data from the plurality of pictogram designation data, Therefore, a pictographic character designation data selecting means for selecting the first pictographic character designating data, a selection rule specifying means for specifying either the first law or the second law, and a selection rule designated by the selection law specifying means According toPrinting means for printing, on a print medium, a pictogram corresponding to the one pictogram designation data selected by the pictogram designation data selection means.
Further, another printing apparatus of the present invention includes a pictogram designation data storage unit that stores a plurality of pictogram designation data, and a pictogram designation data selection unit that randomly selects one pictogram designation data from the plurality of pictogram designation data. Means for printing a pictogram corresponding to the one pictogram designation data selected by the pictogram designation data selection means on a print-receiving medium, wherein the pictogram designation data selection means performs printing by the printing means. Is selected every time a print key is pressed to instruct the user.
Further, another printing apparatus of the present invention includes a pictogram designation data storage unit that stores a plurality of pictogram designation data, and a pictogram designation data selection unit that randomly selects one pictogram designation data from the plurality of pictogram designation data. Means, input means for inputting characters, and display means for displaying the characters input by the input means as they are, and displaying the one pictogram designation data selected by the pictogram designation data selection means with immovable marks. Printing means for printing the characters input by the input means, and the pictograms corresponding to the one pictogram designation data selected by the pictogram designation data selection means, as they are, on a printing medium. I do.
[0007]
Also,The present inventionThe printing method of (1) stores a plurality of pictogram designation data,In the series of selection processing after the predetermined selection start processing is performed, the first rule for randomly selecting one pictogram designation data from the pictogram designation data that has not been selected, or the predetermined selection start processing is performed. In a series of selection processes after the selection, regardless of whether or not the icon has already been selected, the second rule of randomly selecting one pictogram designation data from the plurality of pictogram designation data, Therefore, the first pictogram designation data can be selected, and according to the selection rule specified by the user, either the first rule or the second rule.A pictogram corresponding to the selected one pictogram designation data is printed on a printing medium.
[0008]
theseThe printing apparatus and the printing method according to (1) store a plurality of pictogram designation data, randomly select one pictogram designation data from the pictogram designation data, and print a pictogram corresponding to the one pictogram designation data. be able to. For this reason, the user does not have to be particular about the contents and order of pictograms. However, if the user wants to attach a pictogram as a decoration to a specific character string, the user issues a print instruction once, and then the pictogram for each print is printed. Since it is not necessary to make settings, printing can be performed quickly and easily. Further, since one pictogram designation data is selected at random, the user can enjoy printing, for example, predicting which pictogram will be printed next.
Further, in a series of selection processing after a predetermined selection start processing is performed among a plurality of pictogram designation data, one pictogram designation data is selected from the pictogram designation data that has not been selected yet, so that a series of The pictograph designation data already selected in the selection process is not selected again. Therefore, for example, the present invention can be used when there is a need to associate a print result with a selection target on a one-to-one basis, for example, when determining the cast of a play in the order of printed pictograms.
Further, in a series of selection processes after the predetermined selection start process is performed, regardless of whether or not the selection has already been made, by selecting one pictogram designation data from the plurality of pictogram designation data, a series of In the selection process, a situation may occur in which the already selected pictogram designation data is selected again. Therefore, for example, when the winner of the lottery is determined by the printed pictogram, it can be used when it is desirable that the print result is unpredictable (those who have already won are likely to win).
[0009]
In addition, "pictogram designation data" includes "character code" for designating "pictograms", "bitmap data" expressing "pictograms" itself, and "program data" for designating "pictograms". And the like. That is, it is only necessary that one "pictogram designation data" can be selected so that "bitmap data" corresponding thereto can be obtained as a result. Further, “selection of one pictogram designation data” may be performed at the time when printing is finished, or may be performed at the time when printing is instructed by the user. That is, as a result, a pictogram corresponding to one pictogram designation data selected at some timing may be printed.
[0010]
In addition, the printing of the pictograms may be configured such that, when the user issues a single print command, the first pictogram and the second pictogram are printed successively. Thus, the first pictogram may be printed, and the second pictogram may be printed by the second print instruction. The “pictographs” are not limited to those representing the above-mentioned patterns, but include “numerals”, “hiragana”, “kanji”, “gaiji” and other general characters.
[0011]
In these cases, The pictographic designation data includes data designating a picture other than a character. Is preferred.
[0013]
According to this configuration, since the pictographic character designation data includes data specifying a pattern other than a character, it is possible to create a visually impacted printed matter and improve the versatility of the printed matter.
[0014]
In these casesGroup storage means for storing at least one group consisting of the plurality of pictogram designation data, and group designation means for designating a desired group from one or more groups stored in the group storage means, The pictogram designation data selection means selects one pictogram designation data from a plurality of pictogram designation data belonging to the group designated by the group designation means. Is preferred.
[0016]
This printing equipmentPlaceAt least one group consisting of a plurality of pictogram designation data is stored, and a desired group is designated from among the groups, and one pictogram designation data belonging to the designated group is designated by one pictogram designation data. Selected. For this reason, for example, when the group “Janken” exists, the user selects the next pictogram designation data from the three pictogram designation data specifying the “Goo”, “Choki”, and “Par” pictograms. Because it is unpredictable, it can be enjoyed as a “janken game”. Also, when the group "Omikuji" exists, one pictograph designation data is randomly selected from the pictograph designation data expressing "Daichi", "Nakayoshi", "Evil", etc. You can enjoy it as well. By grouping a plurality of pictogram designation data in this way, the user can enjoy various functions.
[0021]
6. The printing apparatus according to
[0022]
According to this configuration, a plurality of pictogram designation data desired by the user can be registered and stored. For example, if pictograms such as “special”, “1st”, “2nd”, and “outside” are registered and stored, a pictogram corresponding to one pictogram designation data selected at random by a print instruction. Can be created (in this case, “winning lottery”). In other words, when the pictogram designation data of the pictograms (“special”, “1st”, “2nd”, “missing”, etc.) necessary for the user's desired purpose (creation of “winning lottery”) is not stored in advance. If these are registered and stored, printing suitable for the needs of the user can be performed.
[0023]
7. The printing apparatus according to
[0024]
According to this configuration, pictogram designation data that is not stored in the storage means can be input from an external storage device and stored in the storage means. Can be memorized. Therefore, the storage capacity can be kept to a minimum, and accordingly, one pictogram designation data can be quickly selected from the pictogram designation data stored in the storage means.
[0025]
8. The printing apparatus according to
[0026]
According to this configuration, since the printing medium is a tape-shaped member, it can be used for a tape printing apparatus, and is convenient when a label or the like is created. Further, if the printing medium is wound and accommodated in the printing apparatus, the apparatus configuration can be made compact.
[0027]

Also, in the “random 2”, every time a print instruction is made by the user, a random lottery using a random number is performed on all the character codes in the group without removing the character code already selected, Thus, a pictogram corresponding to the selected character code is printed (see FIG. 7B). Therefore, in the series of selection processing, a situation may occur in which the already selected pictogram designation data is selected again. For example, when the winner of the lottery is determined by the printed pictogram, the print result is unpredictable (the already elected Can also be elected).
[0050]
In this (“change rule selection screen”), the cursor key 36 (“↓”, “→”, or “conversion” key) is pressed twice by the user, and “random 2” is shaded (S15). When the "select" key 38 is pressed, the

In the “text screen”, in the operation at the lower layer where the cursor K is located at the inverted “character” mark or the shaded display portion following the mark (see S16 or S21 in FIG. 9), “random 1” of option G2 is selected. Alternatively, the option of “random 4” is not displayed. When the cursor K is in this state, the "serial number" key 33 cannot be pressed again.
[0052]
In the "symbol selection screen" (S17), the "arrow" of the latest access value (or default value) is highlighted and the user presses the cursor key 36 ("↓" or "→" or "conversion" key) ten times. Then, the group "play" is shaded (S18, see option G1 in FIG. 4). The selection of a candidate in response to the pressing of the

On the "text screen" (S21), a "?" Mark indicating "random pictogram" is shaded next to an inverted "character" mark indicating a random pictogram, and this shaded display section is selected for each print instruction from the user. One pictograph designating data is randomly selected from the selected group (here, the group “Janken” (option G3, see FIG. 6)), and the pictograph (random pictograph) designated by the pictograph specifying data is printed. Is shown. When the "Delete" key is pressed while the cursor K is at the "?" Mark part next to the inverted "character" mark, the cursor K moves to the inverted "character" mark part.

Note that the empty pitch of the portion where the random pictogram is input is the same as that of the full-width character. Therefore, it is preferable that the pictographic character designation data has full-width character size. Also, the random pictogram is repeatedly printed continuously until the user gives an instruction to end the serial number printing. However, in the “change rule selection screen” (see S14 in FIG. 8), “random 1” is selected. In this case, it may be configured such that the process ends when the pictogram designation data is printed in a group (here, the group “Janken”).

Further, in the above example, the random pictogram is displayed as the “?” Mark next to the inverted “character” mark on the
[0059]
Next, registration of pictogram designation data will be described with reference to FIGS. 10, 11, and 12. FIG. Here, an operation for creating a fortune card (see FIG. 15) used for “weather divination” will be described as an example. As shown in FIG. 10, first, on the “text screen”, the text “fortune;” is input by the user (S31), and the cursor K is moved to a position where the input of a random pictogram is desired (cursor key K here). Is not moved). Here, when the "symbol" key 34 is pressed, the "arrow" of the latest access value (or the default value) is highlighted (S32), and the user presses the cursor key 36 ("@" or "←" or "no conversion" key). ) Is pressed once, "continuous 1" is shaded (S33). As shown in option G4 of FIG. 4, there are four groups that the user can register in his or her original (“continuous 1” to “continuous 4”), but the original “continuous” group is not registered. Displays only "continuous 1" as a candidate. If the “continuous” group is already registered, the already registered candidates are displayed each time the cursor key 36 (“↓”, “→”, or “convert” key) is pressed.

Next, registration of the second random pictogram is designated. When the user presses the “symbol” key 34 again in a state where the registration of the first random pictogram is designated (S40), “living” of the latest access value is highlighted (S41) and “selected” When the "" key 38 is pressed, candidates for the group "living" are displayed (S42). Here, the “sunny” mark of the latest access value is shaded. When the user presses the cursor key 36 (“↓”, “→”, or “conversion” key) once, the “cloudy” mark is shaded (S43), and the “select” key 38 is pressed. Then, a “cloudy” mark is registered as the second random pictogram (S44 in FIG. 12).
[0063]
As described above (by repeating the operations from S40 to S44), the third random pictogram is a "rain" mark, the fourth random pictogram is a "thunder" mark, and a total of four random pictographs are registered. (S45, all are selected and registered from option G5 in FIG. 6). In this state, when the "select" key 38 is pressed by the user, the

Further, the order and the number of registration of the random pictograms may be any order and the number of registrations without depending on the above embodiment. It is also possible to adjust the probability of selection by registering more random pictograms whose probability of being selected is to be increased than other pictograms.
[0067]
Next, the call of the pictogram designation data registered by the above-described operation will be described with reference to FIGS. This operation is assumed to have been performed subsequent to the above-described operation of registering pictographic character designation data. [0070]
The created printed matter is as shown in FIG. 15, and four random pictograms “sunny”, “cloudy”, “rain”, and “thunder” are registered with the same probability for each print instruction (all are registered one by one). 10 to 12) are randomly selected and printed together with a predetermined character string "fortune;".
[0071]
As an application example of the present invention, it is also possible to create a printed matter as shown in FIG. As shown in the figure, these are a distribution card (a) for enjoying "Animal Bingo" and a hit card (b). First, the distribution card (a) designates a “creature-animal” group (option G5) and instructs printing of one random pictogram. This is repeated three times, and three random pictograms are designated, respectively, and these are created for three lines (refer to FIGS. 8 and 9 for the creation procedure). When printing is performed with a frame, three animal patterns are selected and printed at random for each print instruction (here, "A", "B", "C"). Only three cards to be distributed to "san").
[0072]
Next, a winning card (b) is created by combining "random pictographs" and "continuous alphanumeric characters". The creation method is as follows: first, specify a number from 1 to an appropriate number as “sequential alphanumeric characters” and instruct printing (see FIGS. 8 and 9 for the creation procedure; Select "Code Order" on the "number" and "change rule selection screens"). Then, the “creature-animal” group (option G6) is designated as the “random pictogram”, and printing of one random pictogram is instructed. Then, for each print instruction (every time the “print” key is pressed), “1. (selected random pictograph)”, “2. (selected random pictograph)”, “3. (selected random pictograph)” ) "..." is printed. Then, the three people who have been distributed enjoy the “animal bingo” by erasing the random pictographs of their own distribution card (a) according to the random pictographs of the winning card (b) (in this case, “ C-san).
[0073]
As described above in detail, according to the
[0074]
In addition, since the pictographic character designation data includes data specifying a picture other than a character, a printed matter having a visually impact can be created, and the versatility of the printed matter can be improved.
[0075]
In addition, since a plurality of pictogram designation data can be classified and stored for each group according to the purpose of use, the user can enjoy various functions.
[0076]
Further, a plurality of pictogram designation data desired by the user can be registered and stored in addition to the pictogram designation data stored in advance, so that printing suitable for the user's needs can be performed.
[0077]
In addition, pictogram designation data not stored in the storage means (CG-ROM 230) can be input from an external storage device and stored in the storage means, so that the storage capacity can be minimized, and Accordingly, one pictogram designation data can be quickly selected from the pictogram designation data stored in the storage means.
[0078]
Further, since the printing medium T is a tape-shaped member, it can be used for the
[0079]
In the embodiment, the pictograph designation data is selected from the group of the lowest layer such as the group “circle character” and the group “kanji” in the case of the option G7 in FIG. 5, for example. It may be configured to be selectable from pictogram designation data belonging to the group "number" on the one hierarchy including all (groups in the option G7). Further, it may be configured to be selectable from “symbols” in a higher hierarchy. According to this configuration, it is possible to quickly and easily select a group, for example, in a case where any type of numeral may be printed as long as it is a “numeric”.
[0080]
In the above embodiment, one pictogram (one space of a full-width character) is selected from the group and printed, but a plurality of pictograms are collectively stored as a pictogram string in the group. In addition, a configuration may be adopted in which a pictographic character string is printed at random for each print instruction. According to this configuration, for example, "* Daikichi * Lucky! + (Smile mark)", "* Nakayoshi * ordinary! + (Smile mark)", "* evil * worst + (crying face mark)" Since the pictographs and characters to be written are collectively stored as one pictograph string, the trouble of inputting the text can be further reduced and the versatility can be improved.
[0081]
Further, in the above-described embodiment, the printing of the pictogram is configured such that the user prints the first pictogram by one printing instruction, and the second printing instruction prints the second pictogram by the user. When a print instruction is issued once, the first pictogram and the second pictogram may be continuously printed until the user issues an instruction to end printing. According to this configuration, all pictograms in the group (12 pictograms when the group is “Zodiac”) can be printed with a single print instruction, thereby improving convenience.
[0082]
In addition, "pictogram designation data" includes "character code" for designating "pictograms", "bitmap data" for expressing "pictograms" itself, and "program data" for designating "pictograms". And the like. That is, it is only necessary that one "pictogram designation data" can be selected so that "bitmap data" corresponding thereto can be obtained as a result.
[0083]
Further, “selection of one pictogram designation data” may be performed at the time when printing is completed, or may be performed at the time when printing is instructed by the user. The pictogram corresponding to the other pictogram designation data may be printed.
[0084]
Further, as a method of “printing a random pictograph”, as in the above-described embodiment, display data (including pictograph specifying data) to be displayed on the
[0085]
For example, the display data is immovable, and the print data is internally changed, or both the display data and the print data are changed and printed (that is, the print is faithfully performed on the display content on the screen). Do). According to this configuration, the user can confirm which random pictogram is to be printed next.
[0086]
In addition, the “character code” that is the target of “(random) pictogram” is stored in the print data (display data), and “pictogram designation data (character) Code)), and updating the "auxiliary data" may select one pictogram.
[0087]
In addition, a “serial number bit” is set for the “character code” targeted for the “(random) pictogram” in the print data (display data), and the “character code” in which the “serial number bit” is set May be selected so as to select one pictogram.
[0088]
The plurality of “pictogram designation data” may or may not be grouped internally. For example, in the former case, “pictogram designation data” is assigned a “group code” set for each group, and one of “pictogram designation data” with the same “group code” is randomly assigned. Pictogram designation data may be selected.
[0089]
Further, in the above-described embodiment, the tape printing apparatus has been described as an example. However, the present invention can be applied to other printing apparatuses, and can be appropriately changed without departing from the gist of the present invention.
[0090]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the printing apparatus and the printing method of the present invention, by sequentially printing a plurality of pictograms at random according to a print instruction from a user, it is possible to save time and effort for setting pictograms and to perform printing quickly and easily. And can be enjoyed as entertainment.
