【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、弾球遊技機の遊技盤、発射装置および入賞球処理装置を支持する中枠に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、例えばパチンコ機やアレンジボール式パチンコ機（アレパチ）等の鋼製の遊技球を使用する弾球遊技機は、外殻となると共に遊技機を遊技機設置島に取り付けるためにも使用される外枠、蝶番を介して外枠に装着されて上皿扉、下受皿および発射装置等を支持する前面枠、遊技盤の裏側に配されて賞球払出装置を保持したり入賞球、アウト球や賞球の通路等が設けられる機構板、金枠を介して前面枠に装着されたガラス枠等の枠を備えるものが多かった。

しかし、このような構造では枠構造が複雑であったので、例えば上記の前面枠と機構板との両方の役割を１つの枠で果たすことが可能な中枠が提案されるに至った。本願と同じ出願人による特開平８−４７５７１号公報の実施例に記載される収納枠もその一例である。この中枠は、普通、プラスチック成型品として製造される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このような中枠は、弾球遊技機の枠構造を単純化して、例えば組立工数を低減するといった面において効果を発揮している。
ところで、中枠に装着される様々な装置や部品の中には、取り付け位置や形状の関係で取り付け作業が比較的複雑なもの、故障した場合に修理作業や脱着作業が困難な位置にあるものもある。また、中枠自体においても、形状が複雑で他の部分とは別に成形した方が精度が上がったり作業性が良好となる区画もある。

本発明は、中枠の一区画を本体部とは別体として成形し本体部に対して着脱可能とすることにより、弾球遊技機の組立工程における作業性の向上、メンテナンス性の向上あるいは中枠の製造工程の改善を図るものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために、請求項１記載の弾球遊技機の中枠は、プラスチック成型品であって、弾球遊技機の遊技盤、発射装置および入賞球処理装置を支持すると共に賞球として賞球払出装置から排出される遊技球を上下の受皿に導く賞球経路が設けられている中枠において、該中枠の１区画をカセット区画としてこれを本体部とは別体として成形し、前記本体部には、前記カセット区画の外形に整合する内周形状で前記カセット区画の後方の位置決めとなる背面壁を備える箱状部を設け、前記本体部の前面側から背面側に向かって前記カセット区画を前記箱状部に挿入してから、前記カセット区画と前記箱状部との双方に設けられた切り欠き同士が相対して形成される孔状の部分に透明なプラスチック製のカバーの突起を差し込み、該カバーを前記本体部にねじ止めすることで前記カセット区画の前面側への移動を規制して前記カセット区画と本体部とを組み合わせることによって構成されることを特徴としている。

請求項２記載の弾球遊技機の中枠は、請求項１記載の弾球遊技機の中枠において、前記カセット区画は、前記入賞球処理装置を支持するための入賞球処理装置支持部を含み、前記賞球経路の一部であり前記遊技盤を収容、保持する内枠部の左側縁部に沿った鉛直通路の下端部、前記鉛直通路を落下してきた遊技球を前記上の受皿に誘導する受球部材が配される腕部と前記受球部材に進入できなかった遊技球が落下する脚部とからなる倒立Ｌ字状の分配室、上端側はダンパの切換操作によって前記鉛直通路の下端に対して前記分配室と択一的に接続され下端は遊技球を機外へ排出するための回収口に接続された玉抜き通路及びアウト球を前記回収口に導くアウト球排出路が設けられたブロックであり、前記鉛直通路の下端部、分配室、玉抜き通路及びアウト球排出路の開放された前面側を前記カバーによって覆うことにより、これらが遊技球の通路として完成されることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
上記の構成になる請求項１記載の弾球遊技機の中枠は、中枠の１区画をカセット区画としてこれを本体部とは別体として成形し、カセット区画と本体部とを組み合わせることによって構成される構造である。

このため、例えば比較的構造が複雑な部分をカセット区画として成形することにより、このカセット区画の精度を向上させたり、中枠の製造における作業性を向上させることができる。
また、従来の中枠の構造であれば取り付け位置や形状の関係で取り付け作業が比較的複雑な装置や部品が取り付けられる部分をカセット区画として、予めカセット区画に装置や部品を取り付けて、そのカセット区画を中枠の本体部に組み付ける工程とすれば、こうした装置や部品の取り付け作業が簡単に行える。

あるいは、従来の中枠の構造であれば、故障した場合に修理作業や脱着作業が困難な位置になる装置や部品が取り付けられる部分をカセット区画としておけば、例えば修理に当たっては、まずカセット区画を中枠の本体部から取り外し、その後に修理対象の装置や部品を取り外せば、その作業は簡単である。修理後の装置や備品または新品の装置や部品の取り付けは、この逆の順序で行えばよい。

特に、入賞球処理装置を支持するための入賞球処理装置支持部および賞球経路と上受皿の接続部を含む区画は、他の部分と比較して構造が複雑となりがちなので、このような部分をカセット区画とすれば、上述の各利点は一層大きなものになる。

なお、カセット区画は、弾球遊技機の組立における作業性の向上、メンテナンス性の向上、中枠の製造工程の改善といった目的あるいは対象とする装置や部品に応じて適宜に設定されればよく、複数の目的を持って設定してもよい。また、カセット区画を複数設けてもよい。

次に、本発明の具体例により発明の実施の形態をさらに具体的に説明する。

【具体例】
図１は弾球遊技機としてのパチンコ機１０の正面図であり、可変図柄表示装置１２、可変図柄表示装置１２を始動させる始動入賞口１４、大当たり時に開放される大入賞口１６、普通入賞口１８、風車２０、アウト球を排出するためのアウト穴２１等を有する周知の遊技盤２２を備えている。

遊技盤２２の前面側は、ほぼ全体がプラスチック製のガラス枠２４に保持される二重の透明板２６で覆われており、遊技盤２２と透明板２６との間に遊技領域２８が形成されている。また、ガラス枠２４は、全体がプラスチック製の中枠３０に開閉自在に装着されており、中枠３０の上部にはいわゆる大当り状態が発生した際に点灯する大当りランプ３２が組み付けられている。また、中枠３０は、上辺３４ａが木製で他の３辺がプラスチック製の外枠３４にヒンジ３６、３６を介して開閉自在に取り付けられており、錠３８を操作することにより、ヒンジ３６、３６を軸として開閉可能である。

中枠３０には、ガラス枠２４の下方に、上皿４０を有する上皿扉４２がヒンジ（図示略）を介して開閉自在に装着されている。上皿４０には、パチンコ機１０の内部から排出される遊技球の出口となる上皿出口４４が開口している。この上皿扉４２は、通常の使用時には右裏側にてロックされて閉状態に保持され、併せてガラス枠２４によって上辺部分を押さえられ開放を防止されている。したがって、上皿扉４２を開くには、ガラス枠２４を開放し、さらに右裏側のロックを解除する必要がある。

また、上皿扉４２の下方においては、下皿４６を有する下皿部材４８が中枠３０に固着されており、下皿４６には、パチンコ機１０の内部から排出される遊技球の出口となる下皿出口５０が開口している。
この下皿４６の底部には、スライド板５２が設けられており、スライド板５２をスライドさせて排出穴（図示略）を開放して遊技球を排出できる。下皿部材４８には複数の小孔からなるスピーカ面５４が設けられており、スピーカ面５４の裏側には遊技状態に応じて音声を発するスピーカ（図示略）が装着されている。

さらに、下皿部材４８には、上皿４０から供給される遊技球を遊技領域２８に発射するための発射ソレノイド９６（図１には示さない）を操作する発射ハンドル５６が設置されている。
図２に示すように、パチンコ機１０の背面側では、中枠３０の上辺に沿って賞球タンク６２が設置されている。この賞球タンク６２は、中枠３０によって保持されており、図示しない遊技機設置島（以下、単に島という）からの遊技球供給路を介して賞球用の遊技球が供給される構造である。

賞球タンク６２の下部には遊技球が流出可能な賞球流出口１１６が設けられており、賞球流出口１１６は、遊技球を整列させながら流下させるプラスチック製の賞球誘導樋１１８を介して、賞球払出装置１２０に接続されている。賞球払出装置１２０は、例えば特開平５−４２２４８号公報に記載されているように、ステッピングモータにて駆動されるフライトスクリュの回転によって、遊技球を賞球誘導樋１１８から導入した遊技球を横断通路１１２の入口（図２には示さない）に排出できる。

また、中枠３０の中央部に開設されている窓５８には遊技盤２２の背面側が露呈している。遊技盤２２の背面には、可変図柄表示装置１２の制御部１２ａが配されており、その下方には、大入賞口１６他の入賞球を集合させるための入賞球集合樋１２２が装着されている。

中枠３０には、交流２４Ｖ電源に接続される電源基板１２４、電源基板１２４とフラットケーブル１２６を介して接続された副制御基板１２８、副制御基板１２８とフラットケーブル１３０を介して接続され制御部１２ａとフラットケーブル１３２ａ、１３２ｂを介して接続されている主制御基板１３４が装着されており、これらがパチンコ機１０の電気的な部品の制御を司っている。

図３に示すように、中枠３０の窓５８の外周に沿って内枠部６０が設けられている。内枠部６０の左側縁部６０ａには、かまぼこ状の突起７２、７２が設けられており、図示をしないが、左側縁部６０ａに対向している右側縁部６０ｂにも、突起７２、７２と同様の突起が設けられている。

また、中枠３０には、図１に示されるガラス枠２４および上皿扉４２を収容、保持するための外枠部６４が形成されている。この外枠部６４の下辺は中央へ向かう傾斜面６６、６８で形成されており、両傾斜面６６、６８の中間には下皿出口５０（図１参照）に連通する下皿誘導路７０が設けられている。

図３ないし図７に示すように、窓５８と左側縁部６０ａとの間には段差７４が設けられ、図４および図７に示すように、窓５８と右側縁部６０ｂとの間には段差７４と同様の段差７６が設けられている。
図３、図４および図５に示すように、内枠部６０の左側縁部６０ａおよび右側縁部６０ｂの下方には、一対の盤保持部１３８ａ、１３８ｂが設けられており、盤保持部１３８ａから左側縁部６０ａにかけて左アール部１３９ａが設けられ、盤保持部１３８ｂから右側縁部６０ｂにかけて右アール部１３９ｂが設けられている。

このように構成される内枠部６０は遊技盤２２の外周形状にほぼ整合する形状で、内枠部６０内に遊技盤２２を収容、保持可能である。また、内枠部６０に収容された遊技盤２２は、左右アール部１３９ａ、１３９ｂおよび盤保持部１３８ａ、１３８ｂの底によって支承され、左側縁部６０ａおよび右側縁部６０ｂにより左右方向の移動を規制される。また、盤保持部１３８ａ、１３８ｂによって前方への移動を規制され、窓５８と内枠部６０との間に設けられている段差７４、７６により後方への移動を規制される。したがって、遊技盤２２は内枠部６０、左右アール部１３９ａ、１３９ｂ、盤保持部１３８ａ、１３８ｂおよび段差７４、７６によって、各方向への移動を規制され、所定の位置に保持されることになる。なお、この際左側縁部６０ａに設けられた突起７２、７２および右側縁部６０ｂの突起は、左側縁部６０ａおよび右側縁部６０ｂと遊技盤２２との摩擦力を強めるべく作用することになる。

図３ないし図７に示すように、窓５８の下辺５８ａの前面側には、下辺５８ａに対してほぼ直交する前壁７８が設けられている。
図３、図５および図７に示すように、前壁７８には、左側縁部６０ａ側から右側縁部６０ｂ側に向かって傾斜する第１傾斜部８０および第１傾斜部８０とは逆に傾斜する第２傾斜部８２が設けられている。第１傾斜部８０の下曲面８０ａと第２傾斜部８２との間には、遊技球が通過可能な集合通路８４が形成されており、この集合通路８４の下方には、図７に示されるように入賞球計数装置８６を収容するための収容室８８が形成されている。

図９に示すように、入賞球計数装置８６は、集合通路８４側に開口する入口２０１を有する筒状の上端部２０３および同様に筒状の下端部２０５を側壁部２０７で連結した形状の球通路２０８を備えている。また側壁部２０７の中央部には相対向する１組の開口２０９、２１１が設けられ、これらの開口２０９、２１１にわたって近接スイッチ２１３が設置されている。また球通路２０８内には、上端部２０３にて軸支された一対の板部２１５、２１７、板部２１５、２１７の先端に設けられた球受部２１９とからなる揺動部材２２１が設置されている。この揺動部材２２１は、楔部材２２３を介して接続されているソレノイド２２５によって駆動されて、球通路２０８内で揺動可能である。楔部材２２３には、ソレノイド２２５を復帰させるためのばね２２７が装着されている。

こうした構成により、集合通路８４から入賞球計数装置８６へ導かれた遊技球は、球通路２０８内を落下して球受部２１９にて一旦停止される。ここで近接スイッチ２１３はオンとなる。近接スイッチ２１３の信号は、例えば主制御基板１３４に入力されて、賞球払出装置１２０を稼動させる等、所定の制御操作に使用される。次に、ソレノイド２２５の作動によって揺動部材２２１が矢印Ｂ方向に揺動させられると、遊技球は球受部２１９と球通路２０８との間に形成される空隙を通過して落下する。この際、次に続く遊技球があれば、この遊技球は楔部材２２３によって落下を阻止される。さらにソレノイド２２５の復帰に伴って楔部材２２３が後退すると、この遊技球は落下して球受部２１９上で停止し、上述のように近接スイッチ２１３が作動する。このようにして、入賞した遊技球は正確に１球づつ計数されて排出される。

図３、図５および図７に示すように、入賞球計数装置８６が配されている収容室８８の下方には、回収口８９が開口しており、この回収口８９は、島に設置されている回収路（図示略）に接続される。このため、入賞球計数装置８６で計数された遊技球は島へと回収されることになる。

図３、図５および図７に示すように、第２傾斜部８２の下方はさらに前方に突出してレール取付部９０となっており、図３および図５に示すように、レール取付部９０の一部は凹陥部９２が設けられている。図４および図５に示すように、レール取付部９０には発射レール９４が取り付けられ、図５に示すように、凹陥部９２には、発射レール９４の端部に載置された遊技球を打撃するための発射ソレノイド９６が装着される。図４および図５に示すように、この発射ソレノイド９６はカバーボックス９８にて覆われる。

また、図３、図５、図７および図８に示すように、レール取付部９０と収容室８８との間には、遊技球が通過可能なアウト球排出路１００が設けられている。このアウト球排出路１００には、図８に示されるように近接スイッチ１０２が設置されており、この近接スイッチ１０２の出力信号によりアウト球排出路１００を通過する遊技球を計数することができる。また、アウト球排出路１００の出口側は回収口８９の上方に開口しており、アウト球排出路１００を通過した遊技球は、回収口８９から回収路へと排出されることになる。

図８に示すように、アウト球排出路１００の上方には、アウト球を導くための誘導板１０１ａ、１０１ｂが配されており、遊技盤２２のアウト穴２１から流出した遊技球をアウト球排出路１００へと導くことができる。なお、図１２に示されるように、誘導板１０１ａ、１０１ｂは、カバー１４３の一部となっている。

一方、図３、図５、図６および図８に示すように、収容室８８を挟んでアウト球排出路１００と反対側に、脚部１０４ａと腕部１０４ｂとからなる倒立Ｌ字状の分配室１０４が設けられている。この分配室１０４下方から側方にかけて、Ｌ字状の溝として回収口８９に接続された玉抜き通路１０６が設けられている。

また、この玉抜き通路１０６に連通する鉛直通路１０８が、内枠部６０の左側縁部６０ａに沿って設けられている。この鉛直通路１０８は、下端において分配室１０４とも連通しており、図６および図８に示されるように、ダンパ１１０の切換操作によって分配室１０４（図６参照）または玉抜き通路１０６（図８参照）に、択一的に接続される。なお、鉛直通路１０８の端部１０８ａは前面側に開放する溝状であり、その上方においては前面側が閉じられている。

図６に示すように、鉛直通路１０８は、中枠３０の左側縁部６０ａの外側を通過して前面側から背面側に至る横断通路１１２に連通されている。この横断通路１１２は、中枠３０の背面側に突出し、賞球払出装置１２０に接続されている。図４および図５に示すように、盤保持部１３８ａから盤保持部１３８ｂにわたって、その下側部分は透明プラスチック製のカバー１４２、１４３によって覆われている。なおカバー１４２、１４３は中枠３０に着脱自在である。

カバー１４２には、長方形の上皿排出口１４４、屋根状で横向き開口１４６ａおよび下向き開口１４６ｂ（図５参照）を備える下皿排出路１４６が設けられている。
図１２に示すように、カバー１４３には、一対の誘導板１０１ａ、１０１ｂが付属しており、図４に示されるように中枠３０にカバー１４３を取り付けた際には、図８に示されるように、誘導板１０１ａ、１０１ｂによって遊技盤２２のアウト穴２１とアウト球排出路１００とが接続される構造である。

図４および図７に示すように、中枠３０には、段差７４、７６間にわたって仕切板１５２が装着されており、仕切板１５２と前壁７８との間に遊技球が通過可能な間隙１５４が形成されている。この間隙１５４内には、図２に示される入賞球集合樋１２２の出口が配されており、入賞球集合樋１２２にて集められた遊技球が間隙１５４内に落下する構成である。

図４、図５および図６に示すように、分配室１０４はカバー１４２にて覆われているが、上皿排出口１４４が分配室１０４の腕部１０４ｂに対応する位置、下皿排出路１４６の横向き開口１４６ａが分配室１０４の脚部１０４ａに対応する位置となっている。また図６に示すように、上皿扉４２に設けられた受球部材１６０が上皿排出口１４４を貫通して腕部１０４ｂ内に至っている。この受球部材１６０は、底面と３側面を有して上部および１側面が開口する部材で、この開口された側面側で上皿４０の上皿出口４４に連通している。

一方、脚部１０４ａには下皿排出路１４６の横向き開口１４６ａが接続されているが、図４および図６に示すように、この下皿排出路１４６の下方に、中枠３０の傾斜面６６が位置している。
以上のように、賞球払出装置１２０から排出される遊技球を導くための賞球排出通路１８０は、横断通路１１２−鉛直通路１０８−ダンパ１１０−分配室１０４にて構成され、鉛直通路１０８の上半部は前面側が閉じられ下端部は、分配室１０４と共に透明プラスチックのカバー１４２で覆われている。

このような賞球排出通路１８０の構成（図６参照）により、賞球払出装置１２０から排出された遊技球は、横断通路１１２を経て中枠３０の前面側に至り、鉛直通路１０８を落下し、ダンパ１１０を含む湾曲部分でほぼ水平方向に進路を曲げられ、分配室１０４の腕部１０４ｂ内に配された受球部材１６０内に放出される。さらに、遊技球は、受球部材１６０から上皿出口４４を経て上皿４０に排出される。また、上皿４０に遊技球が多量に貯留されて受球部材１６０内までが遊技球で満たされると、鉛直通路１０８を落下して分配室１０４内に放出された遊技球は、受球部材１６０を満たしている遊技球により受球部材１６０への進入を阻まれるので、脚部１０４ａへと落下する。

また、入賞により遊技盤２２の背面側に設けられた入賞球集合樋１２２を経て中枠３０の前壁７８と仕切板１５２との間隙１５４に落下した遊技球は、図７に示されるように第１傾斜部８０、第２傾斜部８２上を転動し、集合通路８４から入賞球計数装置８６へ落下する。入賞球計数装置８６へ落下した遊技球は、上述のように計数されて１球ずつ排出される。排出された遊技球は、回収口８９から回収路へと排出される。

他方、遊技領域２８においてアウトとなった遊技球は、図８に示されるようにアウト穴２１→誘導板１０１ａ、１０１ｂ→アウト球排出路１００と導かれ、近接スイッチ１０２によってカウントされた後、回収口８９から回収路へと排出される。

さらに、パチンコ機１０の入れ換え等に際して、賞球タンク６２に貯留されている遊技球を排出する場合には、図示しない玉抜スイッチをオンすると、ダンパ１１０が図示しないソレノイドにて駆動されて図６の状態から図８の状態に変位し、鉛直通路１０８と玉抜き通路１０６とが連通される。併せて賞球払出装置１２０が稼動して賞球タンク６２からの遊技球を排出する。排出された遊技球は横断通路１１２、鉛直通路１０８から玉抜き通路１０６を経て回収口８９から回収路へ排出される。

さて、完成品としての中枠３０は上述の通りの構造であるが、この中枠３０は本体部３０ａとカセット部３０ｂの２部品から構成されており、それらを組み合わせると上述の構造となる。以下、その本体部３０ａとカセット部３０ｂとについて説明する。

図１０に示すように、カセット部３０ｂは、収容室８８、アウト球排出路１００、分配室１０４、玉抜き通路１０６および鉛直通路１０８の下端部１０８ａが設けられているブロックである。これら収容室８８〜下端部１０８ａについてはすでに説明した。さらに、カセット部３０ｂには、アウト球排出路１００の下方と玉抜き通路１０６の下方とに、切り欠き１７０ａ、１７０ｂが設けられている。また、カバー１４２には、切り欠き１７０ａ、１７０ｂに対応して、突起１７２ａ、１７２ｂが設けられ、上端と右端にねじ孔１７４ａ、１７４ｂが設けられている。

一方、図１１に示すように、本体部３０ａには、カセット部３０ｂの外形に整合しカセット部３０ｂを前面側から抜き差し可能な箱状部１７６が設けられ、箱状部１７６の前面側にはカセット部３０ｂの切り欠き１７０ａ、１７０ｂに対応する切り欠き１７８ａ、１７８ｂが設けられている。また、レール取付部９０の左端と鉛直通路１０８の下端とにねじ止め孔１８０ａ、１８０ｂが設けられている。

本体部３０ａにカセット部３０ｂを組み込むには、本体部３０ａの前面側から背面側に向かって（図１１に示される矢印Ｘ方向にそって）カセット部３０ｂを挿入すればよい。カセット部３０ｂが箱状部１７６の背面壁１７６ａに当たることにより、カセット部３０ｂの後方の位置が決まる。当然ながら、左右および上下方向の位置は箱状部１７６の内周とカセット部３０ｂの外周との接触によって決まる。

このように、カセット部３０ｂを箱状部１７６に挿入すると、図１２に示される状態となる。このとき、本体部３０ａとカセット部３０ｂとの位置は、上述のように決まり、カセット部３０ｂの切り欠き１７０ａ、１７０ｂと本体部３０ａの切り欠き１７８ａ、１７８ｂが相対して孔状の部分を形成する。なお、図示は省略しているが、入賞球計数装置８６はすでにカセット部３０ｂに取り付けられている。

次に、仕切板１５２を第１傾斜部８０および第２傾斜部８２の前面側に押し当てるようにして、仕切板１５２の係止爪１５２ａ、１５２ｂを本体部３０ａに係止させる。これにより仕切板１５２が本体部３０ａに取り付けられる。また、カバー１４３を本体部３０ａの所定の位置に取り付けビス止めにて固定する。なお、仕切板１５２およびカバー１４３は、カセット部３０ｂに先だって本体部３０ａに取り付けられていても構わない。
