Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a fitting for preventing a bend generated at a connecting portion in a pipe joint of a detachment prevention type.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In water supply and the like, a pipe joint used for connecting a pipe to a pipe, a pipe to a valve, and the like includes an insertion port and a reception port. Further, in a type in which the joint portion is prevented from being detached in the event of an earthquake or the like, a ring-shaped protrusion is provided at a tip end of the insertion hole to prevent the detachment. And, since the inner diameter of the opening end of the receiving opening is larger by the amount of the projecting portion due to the necessity of passing through the projecting portion, when the connection is completed, the outer surface of the insertion opening and the opening end of the receiving opening are completed. A gap is inevitably generated between the inner surface.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, in the pipe joint of the disengagement prevention type, there is a gap between the insertion opening and the receiving opening in the connected state, which means that the connecting portion has a bendable structure. Therefore, if any external force is applied after the connection, the valve is easily bent at the connection portion, and for example, there is a problem that the vertically installed valve is inadvertently inclined during use.
[0004]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the foregoing, an object of the present invention is to provide a fitting for a pipe joint that has a simple structure, is easy to handle, and can reliably prevent bending. Another object of the present invention is to provide an anti-bending metal fitting that can perform a centering action when the insertion opening and the receiving opening are connected to each other and can prevent poor connection.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The technical means of the bending prevention metal fitting of the present invention comprises a ring-shaped base made of an elastic material that can be expanded and contracted, and a plurality of guide pieces made of a metal material. The guide piece is substantially fitted to the ring-shaped base and substantially extends along the central axis of the ring-shaped base.
[0006]
Further, it is preferable that the number of the guide pieces is 3 to 6, and the guide pieces are equally arranged on the circumferential line of the ring-shaped base.
[0007]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
An embodiment of a bending prevention metal fitting of the present invention will be described based on an example in the drawings. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the bending prevention fitting 1 includes a ring base 2 made of an elastic material such as rubber and a plurality of (four in the illustrated example) metal guide pieces 3. Become. The guide piece 3 is a plate-shaped tongue piece, provided with an enlarged portion 4 at the base end, and mounted in a cantilever state so that the enlarged portion 4 is embedded in the ring base 2. In addition, due to the embedding of the bulging portion 4, the portion of the ring base 2 protrudes outward, forming a contact collar 5.
[0008]
Usually, the number of the guide pieces 3 is appropriately about 3 to 6, and the guide pieces 3 are equally distributed on the circumferential line of the ring-shaped base 2 and are attached so that each guide piece 3 extends in the direction of the center axis of the ring. . In addition, the thickness of the guide piece 3 is made uniform, and is made to match the radial dimension difference (dimension of the gap) between the outer diameter of the pipe of the insertion port 10 and the inner diameter of the open end 23 of the receiving port 20. Furthermore, both the inner and outer surfaces of the guide piece 3 are curved so as to follow the diameter of the insertion opening and the receiving opening.
[0009]
Next, a method of using the bending prevention fitting 1 of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. First, the metal fitting 1 is attached to the insertion opening 10 from the separated state in FIG. A ring-shaped protrusion 11 is formed at the tip of the insertion opening 10, and the outer diameter of the protrusion 11 is larger than the inner diameter of the ring base 2 of the metal fitting, but the base 2 is made of an elastic material such as rubber. Since it is made and can be expanded and contracted, if it is pushed strongly, it can get over the protrusion 11 and fit the metal fitting 1 into the insertion opening 10. Further, after the attachment, the outer surface of the insertion opening 10 is held by the elastic force of the base 2. However, the metal fitting 1 can freely slide and move on the opening 10 because it is simply tightened and fixed by elastic force. FIG. 3 shows this mounting completed state.
[0010]
Next, the insertion opening 10 to which the metal fitting 1 is attached is inserted into the reception opening 20 and joined. In FIG. 3, reference numeral 20 denotes a receiving port. A rubber ring 21 and a rubber ring 22 with claws are attached to the inner surface of the receptacle 20 in the illustrated example. 23 is an opening end of the receptacle. The inner diameter of the open end 23 is set to be slightly larger than the outer diameter of the ring-shaped protrusion 11 at the front end of the insertion port due to the necessity of insertion coupling. It should be noted that the above-described embodiment merely shows one example of the receptacle 20, and it is possible to combine with another type of receptacle.
[0011]
The insertion port 10 is inserted into the reception port 20 from the state of FIG. Since the inner diameter of the open end 23 is slightly larger, the protrusion 11 can pass through. In addition, the rubber ring 21 and the rubber ring 22 with claws have a small inner diameter, but have elasticity. A guide piece 3 of a metal fitting is located at the tip of the insertion opening 10 so as to follow the projection 11, and the outer diameter of the guide piece 3 substantially matches the inner diameter of the opening end 23 of the receiving port. At the time of insertion, a centering effect can be obtained, and accurate coupling can be achieved. Also, during the insertion, the fitting flange 5 collides with the opening end 23, but since the fitting 1 is not fixed to the opening 10, the fitting 1 slides on the outer surface of the opening 10 with the insertion. And move backward.
[0012]
FIG. 4 shows the combined state. Since the guide piece 3 of the metal fitting 1 is sandwiched between the outer surface of the tube of the insertion port 10 and the inner surface of the open end 23 of the reception port 20 and there is no gap, the bending between the insertion port and the reception port is not caused. Will be blocked. Further, the escape of the insertion port 10 is prevented because the projection 11 of the insertion port 10 collides with the claw rubber ring 22 of the receiving port 20. In addition, since the metal fitting 1 can slide freely on the outer surface of the insertion port 10 in the axial direction, it can be connected to any shape of the receptacle.
[0013]
The bending prevention fitting of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and can be freely modified and implemented within the scope of the claims. In particular, the material and shape of the ring-shaped base 2, the number of the guide pieces 3, the method of fixing to the base, and the like are arbitrary.
[0014]
【The invention's effect】
With the use of the bending prevention fitting of the present invention, the gap between the outer surface of the insertion opening and the inner surface of the opening of the receiving end can be filled, and bending tolerance at the connecting portion can be eliminated. Thus, the connecting portion can always be kept straight. In addition, since the guide piece performs a centering action at the time of connection, it can be always connected to an accurate position, and defective connection can be prevented. Further, since the metal fitting of the present invention has a simple structure in which the guide piece is attached to the elastic ring-shaped base, it can be manufactured and provided at low cost, and can be easily mounted on the insertion port, and the metal fitting can be freely placed on the insertion port. Since it can be slid, it can be used for any shape of receptacle, regardless of the shape of the receptacle.
[0015]
According to the second aspect, the number of the guide pieces is 3 to 6, and the guide pieces are equally distributed on the circumferential line of the ring-shaped base portion, so that the bending preventing action and the centering action are further ensured, and It is practical.
